Great deal for the amount of food. My breakfast was free with my room package from Booking.com.

I asked for an extended stay, due to me taking a later plane out to Miami International. My check- in time was for 4PM, I checked in at almost midnight. My extended stay was until 2:30PM, and I was charged an extra $100. I feel like as long as I didn't go past 3:00PM, I should have been able to stay without the extra $100 charge.

Hotel Maren is a beautiful property with clean and spacious rooms, exceptional staff , and great amenities. You feel welcome from the moment you check in. We were greeted by Sean and he made sure our check in was seamless. We were on our honeymoon so he made sure we had a beautiful oceanfront room with a balcony. The view was amazing! Sean also gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities. The two free signature drinks daily were a nice addition, as well as the beach chairs and towels. It was very quiet and peaceful. The housekeeping staff were also nice and made sure we had enough towels and other essentials. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon.

Fantastic location. Right across the street from the beach. Our room had a balcony and was oceanfront. We had a Beautiful front view of the beach and the pool. The room was spacious and the beds/pillows very comfortable. Everything was clean. Pool was heated. We got 2 free beach chairs per day. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful. We ate at the Riviera almost every day. Service was good. Special shoutout to David, the food runner in the morning, and the Venezuelan bartender (forgot his name), who were the real superstars! Breakfast at the Riviera was consistently good and the price was similar to breakfast at any other restaurant on that street. The hotel itself is walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops, and also to water sports. We walked everywhere. Overall, we were very happy with our experience. Will be returning!

Poor lighting in the room. Had to put on my makeup outside. The elevators were acting wonky on our last day. It was a simple fix by an employee, but still continued to go out of service. The “alcohol” in the free drinks is questionable in the sense that it may be inexistent. None of these “negatives” will deter me from coming back.

Amazing sea view. The location is perfect. The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows very comfortable. The bartender gave a good service. The sun chairs at the beach is a great plus although the umbrella needs to be paid.

The parking fee is extremely expensive, although it seems everywhere the same in Fort Lauderdale. The customer service of one lady in the evening shift who was also last year could be improved. We did not need to use the bell-boy, but then he was unhappy. The umbrella at the beach costs USD 35 and only until 5pm.

Location was perfect, rooms are very clean and bright. The pool is amazing as the pool bar. The beach service is quite good also with sunbeds and towels.

I was with a 2 year infant, the hotel structure is poor on this way, only one microwave at the 5th floor to warm his food and nothing more for children in general. Everything need to be paid apart (breakfast, expensive parking, beach umbrellas, beach tools, balls for kids to play) with the exception of the sunbeds and beach towels. they offer complementary "signature drinks", don`t get me wrong here is very nice to have some free drinks, but it is vodka + juice, I don`t know why add the word "signature" on it.

Sean and team members greeted us. All cars are valeted. Tip as you go. Our 12th floor room was wonderful. Bed comfortable. Beach view with pool just below on the 5th floor was incredible. We came for our 50th Anniversary in January. We needed our warm clothes and jackets due to temps and wind. One good beach day. Free chairs and towels are nice. I picked the Maren for easy access to the beach, and it was. The Riviera Restaurant is so yummy. Great food. Very fast response from front desk if any problems in room. The gym overlooks the park next door. The Maren is on a strip with lots of one-way traffic, and lots of shops and lots of restaurants. Fast elevator There is a nearby Publix if you need a few things

There is no EV charging station in the property. It would be a simple improvement to make a huge difference. I had to park somewhere else to charge my car 😟

Before I booked the hotel I checked the reviews and all the amenities they offered. I booked and added our check-in time the hotel stated they would try to accommodate us. We walked in around 12:30 midnight and the manager greeted us, checked us in and told us if we needed anything to let her know. The staff/hotel exceeded all our expectations! If you are looking for a hotel in the Ft. Lauderdale area Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection would be your best bet. The entire staff was friendly and assisted us with whatever we needed. The hotel amenities: nice areas to sit and relax or get those picture-perfect opportunities, Starbucks, breakfast (not included in your stay), brunch, dinner, nice pool area with view of the beach, beach access with complimentary (towels, chairs, water). The hotel is within walking distance of Las Olas Blvd and several restaurants, some that are open until 3 am. Want something fun to do, there’s the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center with the Olympic Sized pools that’s right across the street. Depending on what side of the hotel you’re on you can see it from your room, if not you can go and tour it. There’s the Water Taxi that you can take around Ft. Lauderdale. It has 2 stops near Hotel Maren, both within 8 minutes or less, 1 stop is by the Fire Station (Stop 5), and the other is on Las Olas Blvd (Stop 6) I would suggest leaving from Stop 6. I believe the Water Taxi is $30 dollars and you can ride it until 7 pm. If you are looking for a nice brunch spot go to Shooter’s Waterfront, it’s about a 15-minute drive from the hotel, you can also get to it via the Water Taxi as well as the Galleria Mall for those that are looking to shop.

There's nothing that we didn't like about our stay except that it wasn't long enough.

Was upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was spacious. Staff was wonderful. Alfredo, and Lexi were amazing and Sean went above and beyond as well. Front desk staff nice as well. Pool was great! I do think that the bathrooms in the lobby should have key card entry though as some non guests from the street were using the facilities. Location is good. Will stay again

Besides the outsiders listing the bathroom there was nothing, I had zero problems with the property.
