My daughter had surgery at Parkland Medical and the location was ideal! We were 7 minutes door to door. The gym was excellent! I used it twice during our stay. Great selection of equipment, very clean and everything worked, well maintained. The continental breakfast was exceptional and actually one of the better meals we had while in Dallas! Abi (or Avi) at the front desk provided Excellent customer service!! I was truly blown away at how great the customer service and attention to detail at this hotel! It truly makes a difference - We will definitely return and stay here again!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Spark was super clean from the entrance lobby, all the way into the shower in our room on the third floor, and even the pool was super clean and sanitized!! Felt very secure due the gated property. A plus was the air conditioner accessory. I get super hot during sleeping and need a fan, so when I saw the air conditioner accessory allowing all the cool air to actually flow into the room instead of into the curtain of the window I was like this is home away from home for sure!!!

I did not do my research on the site before checking in and was unaware of the 50 dollar deposit. He told me I wouldn’t be charged but he needed me to add a payment method for authorization. I asked what the authorization was for since he stated no charges of any kind would take place. He sarcastically said if I smoke in the room or if a poop in the bed. A gentleman behind him started laughing as if he was encouraging the check in staff for his comment. Not professional. He stated he has to answer questions like that to everyone. I get it, but he was being nasty and sarcastic for no reason.

The location is excellent — close to everything yet tucked away enough to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay. The free parking is a big plus and made our trip very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall we had a good experience. However, the breakfast offering was quite limited. It would be great to see a few more hot options available to better start the day. Still, a solid choice for travelers looking for peace and practicality.

We were there just for the night in order to catch an early flight and not have to do the 1.5 hour drive from home at dawn. The room was very lovely and the staff was super.

I never like the “free” breakfasts at any hotel we stay at. I would rather go to nice sit down restaurant and I don’t mind paying for my food. I would be happy if all motels/hotels would discontinue this practice and just lower the room rate with the savings from no longer providing “free” breakfasts. The food is rarely edible, families with kids heard through leaving a mess in their wake and the food usually ends up in the trash can. Just my opinion.

I loved the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom. It was an exceptionally clean bathroom and luxurious shower (sliding glass door, fancy shower head). The bed was comfortable, and there was a large TV in the room. I feel that it was a good value, and centrally located enough.

The breakfast was a bit lacking (no eggs, meat, pancakes, waffles, etc). It was very minimal but I did find a bagel and some apple juice and my fiance found some yogurt and granola so we were fine with it! Other food available was instant oatmeal, cereal, apples, oranges, and of course coffee and tea!

Everything about the stay was great until we woke up the next morning to a light pole on top of our friends’ vehicle. We did not use the pool or anything extra. Just slept. Beds were very comfortable and the room we booked was absolutely massive. I would definitely book again in the future just based on the inside of the hotel.

The only downside was the light pole incident. From what I was told, the hotel recently came under new management so the rusted out pole could have been a coverup from previous management.

Large, spacious room. Simple but functional. It met my needs for a one-night stay related to a hospital visit to UT Southwestern, which is very close to the hotel. Very friendly staff. I would stay again if needed.

My only disappointment was that there was no in-room coffee maker or tea kettle. I love to wake up an have a quiet, private, and slow morning. Both coffee and hot water (with a selection of teas) was available at all times in the lobby.

Good location. Handy to freeway and downtown. King room was very large and spacious, and had good storage. Simple breakfast of bagels, coffee, and juice was a good start to the day. Excellent gym. Would be happy to stay there again. Communal areas were clean.

The only negative was there is no guest laundry. And while the room was big there was only one arm chair, there is plenty of room for a second arm chair or a sofa.

Liked the colorful decorations and the breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet

The staff when checking in wasn’t very pleasant and the front door was jacked up when we got there. Also the elevator did not work properly and I had to get a housekeeper to help reset it I guess. Housekeeping was very pleasant. Also unfortunate being so close to airport that they don’t offer a shuttle.

The place was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. It was in a good location as well. I just wish there was a way to buy the pillows! They were so good!

The breakfast is more like a grab and go, it was a bit of a letdown. Most places that offer breakfast have at least eggs and bacon or something to that effect. They just had cereal and bread products. I wish they would upgrade their breakfast.
