Perfect location for flying into Marseille to then travel onto Cassis the next day. Great free shuttle bus from Marseille Provence airport to hotel. Very friendly staff. Ease of popping over road to separate Holiday Inn (not Express) for dinner & drinks. Very comfortable beds and clean & decent shower. Decent free breakfast & decent coffee included in price with good selection and staff very happy to refill when asked. Very impressed.

I communicated with staff and they were helpful in replying but it was not clear where you pick up the free shuttle bus outside the terminal. We flew into the smaller Terminal 2. You come out, turn right, cross the road and walk for about 40 metres and you come across a concrete pillar that says “Hotel Bus”. On the pillar is an intercom button for various hotels. Press the button for Holiday Inn Express & you’ll be connected to the hotel. Explain where you are - Terminal 2 in our case and the free shuttle bus came within about 7 minutes and took us to the hotel. We were only in the bus 5 mi utes but it would have been a lot longer to walk with luggage especially on a hot day. So the bus is excellent, just need to be clearer where to pick it up

The room was small but there was everything we needed for one night stay. The hotel and the rooms were extremely clean. We arrived around 1:00 pm and the staff we so kind to let us in our rooms around 2:00 pm what was an hour earlier than the regular check in. We needed to be at the airport around 4:30 am. but the shuttle starts to work at 5:00 am. So, we asked them to pick us up at 5:00 am sharp and that's exactly what they did. Since breakfast starts at 6:30 am we asked for some packed breakfast for 4:30 am. And the staff provided us with fresh croissants and espresso. Air-condition works perfectly!

Too bad none of the group spoke French. Just keep in mind that in Marseille you definitely need to speak French or Arabic in stores, restaurants etc. if you would like to receive good service! We had some trouble finding the phone to call the shuttle. It is exactly in front of the bus station, platform number 5. The phone is situated on the right side of a cement column. There are buttons for different hotels. And something else to keep in mind is that there are actually two hotels Holliday Inn that are opposite of each other. One is Holliday Inn Express and the other is just Holiday Inn. So, be precise what name you say to the shuttle driver. There is no fridge in the room.

The best part of the stay was the dinner across the street at the Holiday Inn. It was a 4-star restaurant and the dinner was excellent. The breakfast at the Express was valuable. Meats, cheeses, croissants, jams, jellies, and a great bread selection.

When I made the booking on booking.com, I chose a room with twin beds. There were options for a king bed and options for a room with twin beds. When we got there and checked in, there was only a king bed in the room. I went down and talked to the receptionist. She advised I had only booked a standard room and they chose the king bed for us. They were full and could not change rooms. I then asked for extra pillows and she said she would put them in the room. No pillows were delivered. The next morning when I went to check on the shuttle time I had arranged, I was told I hadn't made a reservation and the time I wanted was full. I had definitely made a shuttle reservation the day prior. My travel companion also made a shuttle reservation that was not noted the next morning.

The room and bathroom were great. After stay in hotels in France where the toilet is located in a tiny “closet,” we were delighted this hotel had a very modern and pristine and sizeable modern bathroom.

The exterior of the property outside the gates is trashy looking. Doesn’t look good from the road! And, the carpet in the hallway on the second floor looked like it needed a thorough vacuuming along the base of the wall as it meets the floor. The front desk staff should be more welcoming. Smile and say hello and welcome to the hotel.

This hotel experience was quite surprising ! This three-star hotel brings so much quality service that most of the superior hotels aren't able to provide. They have free shuttles for BOTH check-in and check-out ! Intercoms are present at each MRS Airport Terminal to contact them for an immediate pick-up ! Within the hotel, they have paid (cheap) secure lockers to store your luggage. The hotel staff is very kind ! Did I mention that the bed mattresses are wonderfully comfortable ? While the buffet breakfast is a bit limited, this hotel fully deserves a 10/10 score for the overall guest experience !

This simple hotel is comfortable, clean and welcoming and offers everything I need for a refreshing overnight stay. I really like it and will stay again.

The navette service is excellent throughout most of the day, with a helpful driver arriving promptly. However I have had problems twice in the morning with a different driver. Each time he failed to arrive, until finally prompted to do so by the receptionist. The last time he dropped me outside Terminal 2 instead of Terminal 1 as requested (because he was dropping others at Terminal 2) and I had to walk much further with my luggage. He could have taken me closer if he'd been helpful.

As backpackers, we were able to walk from the train stop to the hotel. Once there the clerk helped set up a taxi to the airport for early the next morning, as the shuttle began at 6am. She also offered to make a reservation at the Holiday inn restaurant across the street, for that night's dinner. The wait staff at the restaurant were fabulous.

Since we left for the airport before the shuttle began running, we had to take a taxi, costing over €30, with a drive time of less than 5 minutes. That was a disappointment, but not directly the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was also available after we checked out in the morning.A 24 hour shuttle, and a grab&go breakfast option for early flights would have been appreciated.

We really liked our short stay at the hotel. The staff was super helpful - they brought the baby cot to our room even though I forgot to request it when making a booking, and they booked a taxi for us right away when we checked in (our flight was leaving before the shuttle service was in operation). The shuttle service to the airport is easy to use, convenient, free to use for hotel guests, it takes maybe 10 min to get to the hotel. We tested it when returning the rental car. The rooms were spacious and nice. We requested that the two rooms that we booked are located next to each other and the hotel was able to fulfil that request.

There was nothing really that we didn't like. But of course this is a hotel that one uses when one has a flight on the next day, not for longer stays, so this needs to be kept in mind. For this purpose, though, this was the perfect choice.

Very close to the airport and had a shuttle service. Breakfast included in the price. Price was reasonable. They gave you a discount for beverages at the Holiday Inn across the street which did have a restaurant for dinner and was very pleasant,

Kind of a “basic” property, no restaurant ( although see above) or gym but could use Holiday Inn across the street . The shuttle driver that took us to the airport was not very nice; rather rude and drove very poorly. Think I would have gotten sick if it had been longer than a few minutes ride. Obviously he doesn’t like his job but shouldn’t take it out on the customers.

Clean, relatively new.. very accommodating staff.

Location,as with other area hotels, was not within walking distance of the airport. The airport shuttle did not operate before 05:00am. Early flights required getting a taxi, which was relatively expensive. In the order of $50 for a 3 minute ride. The only available, local, resturant is the Holiday Inn across the street, which has a very limited weekend menu of pizzas and salad. And an even more crazy policy of having to order your salad, drinks, desert,etc, at the table, but get up and go to the bar to separately order your pizza. Frustrating and stupid.
