The hotel is clean, and the staff are very helpful. I would like to extend my appreciation to all staff of Howard Johnson in Red Deer. My daughter left her stuff toy. I called the hotel and they mentioned that they found it.. They shipped the stuff toy to our house here in Calgary via Canada Post. Its very touching that even small thing like my daughter's toy made it home by their personal care to their guest. This means a lot to us. Thanks Again!!!

The two queen-sized beds were like sleeping on clouds, the room was a nice size for the two of us, the bathroom had a tub and nice shower, and there was a small fridge too. The TV was a nice size as well.

The "light continental breakfast" was an absolute disappointment. The hours were only from 7am-9am. Three of the four cereals were sugar-Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, can't remember the third one, and regular Cherrios, white and brown bread, terrible coffee and black tea, orange juice and bananas.

We were greeted by a very friendly lady at reception. The room was clean and comfy and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a light self-serve continental breakfast of coffee, tea, and juice with assorted cereals (with milk) and bread (with toaster available for use) with butter, jams and honey and a fruit (we had bananas). It was convenient to be able to eat before we set off for the day and more than enough to keep us nourished till lunch time.

The staff at the facility was wonderful the front desk girl that checked me in was amazing she was sweet and understood my situation I would definitely stay there again I give this a 10 star stay

That there was no security cameras outside the rooms or in the yard it seem like maybe a higher security system would be best for that area and maybe more lighting in the parking lot at night. Also the windows in the room could use more security features as well

Breakfast was good. Al Samji the manager was a delightful man who went out of his way to make sure everything was in place for us to enjoy our stay. Big pat on the back for him.

We really liked the staff who were very friendly. The tv was very good. Overall good value for money spent.

The shower head could be upgraded, but overall it was a comfortable stay.

We wish there were more parks around, and a parkway all the way connecting all the parks, all the way to downtown. But that is probably a request to the City.

It was quiet. I did not hear much traffic or other guests.

I booked through booking.com, but it took the front desk a while to figure it out. Should make it easier to consolidate bookings from all areas for front desk to quickly access.

Location was excellent for travelers, rooms were so clean and it was quite even tho the highway is the right outside but somehow it was very quite at night, I slept comfortably.
