I love every bits in GS, from the staff and the facilities. We requested for an extra bed and extra towels. The facilities are all clean even though there are many people staying. The pools were clean. The area for sun bathing clean. The rooms are all well maintain and clean. They prepared very well.

There's always room for improvement I believe! Overall was excellent and I will definitely come back for another stay! It's jammed everywhere because it's CNY and not much choice for food in BF might as well eat at the hotel!

Love the pool as it has 3 big pools for adults and 2 for kids. They also have a splash pool which my kids enjoyed so much. We also love the view from our room; can see the beach, the view is superb. Also love the kids room where my kids enjoyed playing the games on the desktop.

Felt uncomfortable with the foreign tourists who sunbathed/swam with their bikinis. I think it is culturally inappropriate as Malaysia is a Muslim country, so the hotel should provide culturally-appropriate guidelines for the foreigners jn terms of dressing. For example, they can wear short pants and shirts (any swimming attire with those features) which do not expose their bodies too much. We, the Malaysians should reflect our Malaysian identity and be proud of it, not try to satisfy others' needs by forgetting our own principles and rules. Let them learn to respect our moral values and principles and it's a good thing for everyone .Due to this, I would say this would be our last visit to the hotel unless the dressing policy is improvised in the future.

The pools, the beach, kids lounge, staff at the reception

Two employees (of Indian heritage) at the concierge desk scam people when ordering taxi. They don’t have a standard price for everyone, it changes every day. When we ordered a taxi from outside they got involved and went to talk to the driver.

The location is on a nice beach and close to the night market. The pools are lovely and suitable for kids. The breakfast had a large variety with a lot of seating areas (no need to wait in line) The staff are very kind and attentive. My kids enjoyed seeing the monkeys and birds around the property .. I think it was a highlight of their trip

We checked in on a Sunday for 5 nights, and during our stay they didn't have any pool activities. I have been to this hotel many years ago and several times and remember them having pool activities and passing around fruits and ice-cream around the pool, but they didn't do any of that. The kids got bored after 2 days at the pools :(

The whole place was wonderful. The hotel was outstanding and great value for money. The yoga instructor was brilliant. We chose to eat out and found that the local eateries were amazing. The hotel staff were very knowledgable and helped us with everything. Nothing was too difficult. Even when a small section of the dining hall ceiling fell next to my sister in law, the staff couldn’t have done enough. They were very concerned and dealt with the unfortunate situation straight away. Very apologetic and super friendly.

The whole area outside the hotel complex needs a good litter pick. There was rubbish everywhere including the beach. Maybe if all the hotels get together to sort this out the area would be more appealing.

Location was perfect, room was great, pool was great, service was great..Even the Monkeys came to greet us one day on our balcony which was a highlight. Breakfast was exceptional. Compliments to the Chef.

Our main complaint was Overcrowding at Breakfast time. We had to queue to get a table. I believe it was lack of staff to clean tables, for next patron. Also anyone could wander in for Breakfast. Next time I would not include Breakfast in the booking, as it was not policed correctly. There are plenty of other places to eat. Gym was a bit small. Cocktails were wishy washy, scrimped on the alcohol.

The pools were fantastic, just the right temperature to walk in and out without being too cold at any point, and cool enough to be refreshing. Our six year old grandson loved the water slides and the tipping bucket in the kids area. The buffet breakfast was also great with everything imaginable available, a big variety of international foods and juices, and I loved the coffee machines. Our room was spacious even with the single size murphy bed is use. It was lovely having all toiletries supplied too. And lovely views over the pool area.

Everything was good and enjoyable.

I appreciated the warm and helpful service provided by a staff member named Wind. He was always friendly, greeted everyone with a smile, and made our stay more enjoyable.

The room was very large and the shower was wonderful with great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the pools were magnificent. Good range of activities available too, particularly pool volleyball. Good to see lots of "life guards" looking after us.

Whirlpool gate needs to be self closing, it was often left open and a young child could easily go in there and fall. We had children running along corridors and talking loudly in rooms late at night - perhaps a notice in all lifts reminding everyone to respect all house guests by moving quietly in corridors and rooms between 11pm and 7am. There were many older guests and I think they appreciate uninterrupted sleep and rest on holidays. Was not keen about the monitor lizards.

1. Free upgrade! Check in was a little interrupted as there was a group who made otc reservations. Hence they upgraded our room to seaview and it was the best experience ever! 2. The room was spacious and the beg was extra king! We had a very good 2 nights of uninterrupted sleep. Pillows are too comfy. I love non carpeted floor, and they provide slippers, easy to go to the beach . 3. I requested a small decoration for our anniversary and they granted as per wish. We got complimentary fruits, cake, and biscuits and pickled fruits. 4. Food spread was good. Staff were attentive to cleaning our table. 5. Kids pool was a bit hot for us. But the pool was great. Love the splash zone. So fun! 6. They’re just a whatsapp away. Just whatsapp any inconvenience and they will attend very shortly.
