We visited three hotels in Cancun, and Breathless was our second stop. The welcoming experience at this hotel was exceptional. We received priority check-in and were given a detailed overview of the hotel and its activities. Our room was very nice—clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The evening activities were a highlight, especially the fire show and jazz music, which really enhanced our experience. The food was also excellent; we tried two of the restaurants and were very satisfied with both. The rooftop bar was amazing, and the view from the infinity pool was breathtaking -truly one of the best parts of the stay. I highly recommend checking it out if you enjoy stunning panoramic views while relaxing. Unfortunately its also for the xhale club members. If you take a stroll down the beach, you can catch some of the most beautiful sunsets in Cancun. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Breathless for its great service, entertainment, and breathtaking views.

The only minor issue was that my husband has a gluten allergy, and the cafeteria offered no options for sweets or desserts that he could safely enjoy. Although the staff asked about allergies at the restaurants, the labeling on the menu could be improved to make it easier for those with dietary restrictions. However, we really appreciated that the upgraded xhale Club breakfast had special gluten-free options prepared specifically for him.

Dining Challenges: ★★☆☆☆ For guests with early flights, the limited food options were disappointing. Coffee and cookies were our only choices, and while they were satisfactory, a more substantial breakfast option would have been appreciated. Shower and Water Quality: ★★★☆☆ The shower pressure was great, but the peculiar smell of the water was a letdown. It didn't ruin the experience, but it was an aspect that could use improvement.

Everything was awesome, the amenities and staff were all kind and pleasant. The food was good, Fish Net was outstanding!

The smell In the hallways and rooms have a musty water smell. Resort should get air purifiers to clean the air which will reduce the smell

We had a great few days here on our honeymoon beautiful property

Be aware of the unlimited vacation club they try to suck you in the day of arrival selling vacation packages cost all kind of crazy membership fee I’m talking $30,000 plus, please don’t fall for this trap .They almost ruin our honeymoon and we complain to the hotel. The food can be better we enjoy only the buffet section of it. The a al carte not so much The beach isn’t the most beautiful but I didn’t come for the beach so it didn’t really bother me.

The hotel is not close to downtown, but is well located and has easy access to Uber, Taxis and other to go anywhere in a matter of minutes. For our purposes that was to relax and enjoy the place it was good, well served with good options of restaurants, big pools and various locations for the bars to best serve ourselves.

The beach area is not that big, the beds are paid apart, so only the chairs are free. There were many people from out of the hotel on the beach as well, not only the guests.

Is not located at a place of best beaches in Cancun. Good is average and generally on the salty side. You need to be club members to get slippers.

I loved the hotel but my earrings were taken from my room so it had left a bad taste on the stay.

It’s a beautiful facility. Very new and very nice.

The service wasn’t as good as we are accustomed to. We typically stay at Palace resorts, and the service there is hands down better. Also, the drinks aren’t strong. Call me a conspiracy theorist… but we drink throughout the day, and never once got even tipsy. Is the alcohol diluted? When we left, we went to a different resort, and felt it after 2 drinks. Also, because of the sand bar (shallow water sand shelf) at the beach, and since all beaches in Cancun are public, it’s a place lots of locals come to hang out. Not a big deal… but it was never quiet or peaceful while laying on beach chairs.
