Loved our superior room really big and clean bathroom was fabulous

Just a little annoying that breakfast was at 8am every day and coffee wasn’t topped up in room most days especially when your a early riser

The swimming pool opening and closing hours would prefer more but wasn't a big issue, it was fine

Entrance is lovely. Hotel is very clean. Beds are extremely comfortable. Room is large and roomy. The staff are all friendly. Were able to get sunbeds at the pool over the Easter period as not crowded. Loved the little van as the pool bar very novel. Breakfast was very good. Food in the Santa Maria bar was very good and you can order room service from the same menu.

As the property was in a residential area near golf courses it lacked a shop for convenience. It took 25 minutes to walk from the hotel and along slip roads from the motorway to find shops/supermarket. It was ok but you wouldn’t want to do that often as could be dangerous as electric scooters on the path and cars going very fast on the road. Not close to amenities or even the beach so taxis / Ubers are required. No entertainment Only news channels on the tv. On the balcony the balustrade needs sanding as the wooden rail was all splintered and tired needs freshening up.

The grounds are lovely, the pool area is spacious with plenty of sunbeds, with a lovely bar area, the rooms are huge. The ladies on the housekeeping team are really lovely and friendly and do an excellent job.

The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and delicious, it would just be helpful if they added allergens to there labels and maybe a station for gluten free cereals and breads. Then it would be a perfect 10.

The rooms were spacious and cool and very clean . Housekeeping was very efficient and all staff were happy to meet any requests with a helpful approach and a smile

There were tiles missing in the pool area which was quite uncomfortable under foot . The evening meal was poor unfortunately , too many individual items available which needed to be kept hot , many of these dishes were not kept to an appropriate temperature either.

The beds are so comfy, Rooms are SO clean, Kids club is great, Salon inside, Lovely girls at reception, 10/12 min drive from Puerto banus only a €10/€13 taxi !!All the food was so nice!! Really reccommend for the money you pay for it

The lady in the salon is extremely rude, Which is sad because she doesn’t represent the rest of the lovely staff.

Wow. After motorbiking through Morocco, this was a super bit of luxury. Private parking in the basement which you need to pay for, but don't! You can squeeze a motorcycle past the barrier! Huge rooms with massive bathrooms. A lovely bar with burgers and a full service restaurant. Buffet breakfast is something else. It is possibly the biggest and most far ranging breakfast I have ever had. There was EVERYTHING! It's in the middle of a residential area though, so not a lot to do outside of the hotel itself.

We booked a superior room and in the description it said we would have a balcony. We had no balcony and asked reception about this. They said they had no rooms to assign us with a balcony. The staff member who we spoke to was rude about this. This is disappointing as we did not get what we booked

We have stayed at the Barcelo Marbella before and this stay did not disappoint. We love the location, being within walking distance to San Pedro. The bedrooms are well appointed and good size. Breakfast is more than adequate. Spotlessly clean throughout. Reception staff are welcoming and courteous. Great gym. Pool area excellent and plenty of beds and shaded areas. Will definitely stay here again.

There was a 'whistling' noise when the shower was on. The wardrobe doors banged loudly when closing (need some sort of cushioning pads on them) We had an adjoining door to our room and when there were guests staying next door, we could hear everything! Opening times of the gym could do with being earlier, at the moment the gym opens at 10am.

The staff were super helpful, especially Alicia at the reception. Hotel was clean, we had a nice balcony view. There was literally no complain, was me and my friend’s first time in Marbella and we’d 100% bw back to the hotel.

The lightning in the rooms were a bit dull along with the cleaner coming in to clean when not asked.
