The spa was clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

I was asked at check in if I had been to Marbella. When I responded that I am actually returning to look at property to possibly move here. The front desk person said condescendingly “you... You are looking to buy a house here“ implying I can’t afford it. On my last evening, a stranger walked into my room at 2:30 am with a key to my room, waking me from a dead sleep. It was terrifying. Front desk had no concern and did not take responsibility for duplicating a key without veryifing guest name. The front desk can do better with hospitality.

What didn’t we love. From the generous size of the rooms to the kindness and hospitality from all members of staff. It’s rare you go to a hotel where all the staff are as friendly as each other and nothing is too much trouble. A massive thank you to Marcos who made our lovely 92 year old friends stay a wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel with everything you need. Food was amazing and so much choice for the breakfast.

We had no issues which were negative

Stayed in a junior suite overlooking the pool. 4th floor with lovely views to the sea. Very quiet at night and comfy large beds. Living room was spacious. Plenty of small shops around and mini bar fridge big enough to store continental breakfast items etc. Bathroom large and clean. The pool is very long and was never crowded.

Bed covered with just a sheet and could get cold overnight with the AC on. Turning it off left us sweltering within an hour so not really an option.

It's a beautiful hotel, very stylish. We were offered an upgrade at a cost on arrival which we accepted, the suite was great, had everything we needed. The balcony was great for sitting and sunbathing. The breakfast was exceptional, HUGE range of foods available, replenished regularly. On previous visits to the hotel (for food and drinks only) the service was terrible (when the hotel was owned by Crowne Plaza) this time under Senator, the service was fantastic, in particular Christian in the outside bar area was cheerful, attentive and efficient, and the older gentleman who welcomed us and showed us to our room. Staff could not be more helpful. Really enjoyed our stay, will come back again for sure.

It's a great shame that the restaurants are all empty in the evening, given breakfast was very busy there were plenty people staying in the hotel but there were few people eating in the evening, it may be because we were there as the season was ending, but the same menu was being offered at the pool restaurant and the main restaurant. There are 3 restaurants I could see, 2 of which were completely empty/closed and the pool restaurant had maybe 4 tables eating. The food was fine but more casual lunch than dinner.

The room and service were great. The breakfast is very complete and the staff are very helpful. The pool area is also very good, although it can sometimes be a little crowded.

The only thing I didn't think was so good was the area. I thought it was more central, close to the center of Estepona but no. It's an out-of-the-way area, next to a highway and, despite being on the front line, next to the beach, I found the beach bad. The best beaches in the area are a 15-minute drive away.

Overall great hotel, the facilities are good but I don’t stay long enough to enjoy them which is a shame. The pools are nice. Food is decent too. This is one of my go to hotel in Marbella and will certainly be back again. 👌 P.S only tip I can give is there are two senator hotels one close to Banús, one in Marbella town so make sure you know which one you’re booking because I made the mistake of thinking I booked the Banús one which turned out to be the Marbella town one a couple yrs ago. Silly mistake

Large room and bed, nice atmosfere by the pool, excelent view from the room, parking space any time during the day, very clean, the staff was very attentive and helping.

Not to many food options near the hotel, all the restaurants are mostly on the other side of the highway. You are dependent from a car in order to go to Estepona or Marbella. The exit from the hotel to the highway was quite dangerous due to no ramp to accelarate. I found the price for the room to a be overpice. It is a 4 stars hotel, but not a 5 stars.

Breakfast was good, as was all the food…the ambiance was very cosseting. I felt comfortable in all parts of the hotel and the staff were very attentive and accommodating Had a home from home feel, which makes for a good class hotel and stay

Late check out facilities were a little lacking. I feel it’s a mark of a good hotel when casually offered a room for you to use (say for half an hour or so) to shower and change in comfort before you leave

Spacious room, with a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. There was a large pool with an adequate number of loungers, situated closely to their excellent outside hotel bar, though this is pricier than going elsewhere. This was not a problem as there is a lot of choice of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Staff were always very helpful and made you feel welcomed. They help us out with towels when we needed them and clearly take pride in what they do.

As the hotel is half way between Marbella and estapona, you need to use transportation to visit either Location. Taxis to either are ~25 Euros for one way, so can be expensive if you want to visit these locations multiple times. There are buses, which are cheaper (~2-4 Euros), but these are unreliable and can be confusing. Certain buses stop at different bus stops, which you only find out after you get denied entry to the bus and they never show up on time - sometimes up to 30-40 mins late. If we visit again, we would definitely hire a car. I know this is out of control of the hotel, so still rate highly, though I thought I would share for others that are visiting

The hotel is beautiful the staff are very attentive and the breakfast is amazing.

We stayed in high season. Didn’t like the fact that there were groups of young lads staying there and hen parties they were noisy and that spoilt it for me and my family we wanted peace and quiet. Won’t be staying there this time of year again.
