The breakfast was good. It was a continental breakfast and so was fruit and some breads. The band at dinner was outstanding. Their reggae was very rootsie, the rhythms were in their souls. The owner of the property was often present and very engaging.

I thought that the attire the staff wore on the beach was inappropriate for the heat. They should have lighter and far more practical clothes.

Very good location with nice and clean beach

We were unlucky to face Beryl hurricane while staying at Jamaica Inn. The staff was super helpful and they did their best to make all guests feel safe and comfortable, however electricity and connectivity disruptions were annoying. Though the weather conditions is not something under the property control overall the related limitation we faced during our stay downgrade the overall rating which could be excellent without those limitations

The resort is well presented, beach is beautiful, staff are friendly and alot of fun. Very private and live band in the evening was very good.

Limited food menu. Can be a little expensive. Room Service charge is high, considering what the locals are paid the costs charged do not reflect wages. Hotel uses a private taxi firm which charges about 1000% over the standard taxi fair charge. I think the rate should be transparent. Fixed charges should be agreed in advance. I felt as I was robbed. I paid $30.00 for a 3 min taxi ride!!

Lovely property with an excellent staff. Staff exceptional - always smiling!! Food quality was top notch. What I did like was the old world charm and sophistication of the Inn. Beautiful location and grounds. Excellent beach access and amenities. Owner was on premises everyday with his puppy which was a delight.

Due to the age of the property there were items in my room and bathroom that were not up to the quality I had paid for, Water pressure in the shower was very low. Also sink faucet dripped and they were unable to fix it, and the left handle was tough to turn. Overhead fan was great but only worked on one speed and was a bit noisy. I was given complimentary continental breakfast with my stay and they forgot me one morning. My room was also located over the are where the staff gathered and a few times it was noisy.

Everything and everyone was fantastic! The Inn was exceptional. A quant Inn with a very personable staff that constantly went out of their way to please its guests. Breakfast every morning at our room was an absolute pleasure. So relaxing to have your order delivered to our outdoor living area. This outdoor living area was a highlight for us. With no TV, we were able to enjoy each other's company with great conversation, a game of cards, or just reading a good book. Food and drinks were always 5/5. Snorkeling was the best there is to offer. There is no need to leave the property as you would not see any better aquatic life. We were fortunate enough to be able to witness two turtle nest hatchings, again on the Inn's private beach. The Inn offers several different tours on the property with different themes as well as a weekly movie night, galla dinner, and several other offerings. We were able to hire a boat from the property to take us to Dunn's River Falls privately, which was an amazing way to travel to be able to view the coast from a different vantage point.

Not being American, our dollar exchange was low in comparison, which made the purchase of anything at the Inn extra expense. We found it frustrating to go to Jamaica and have to convert everything to US currency while knowing the cost of the products in Jamaica.

The fruit at the Continental Breakfast was awesome! the location for breakfast was fine. We loved the deck on the room and my husband was fascinated by the construction of the whole building. it was especially fun that the building was almost as old as we are and still so comfortable.

Maybe a TV, but it was good for us not to have one.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The staff is amazing. The food was fine but not high quality and the ability to exercise wasn’t great. One of the two treadmills didn't work for the entire week we were there and there isn’t anywhere to safely run.

The staff and the relaxing vibe

We booked as many guests that stay also repeatedly return, which for my partner and I was hallmark of a hotel that cares. Our stay felt more like a retreat than a beach hotel. A beautiful location with sunset views, all topped with authentic, helpful and approachable staff. The rooms were kept very clean and tidy, with fantastic balcony views, a reflection of the resort as a whole. I enjoyed the daily complementary activities provided, such as yoga and snorkeling. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

The shower head was fixed lower than preferred (I'm 6ft and it met my head). 1 door key for the room - a key each for my partner and I would have been helpful.

The room was spacious and very clean. Our room had great view of the water, with a well-appointed private outdoor space. The staff was polite and attentive, i.e., fantastic. The food was very good.

Although the hotel beach is quiet, private, and beautiful, it is small and not wide enough for walks.

Love the property. We stayed on the beach side. Being able to walk from your patio to the beach is heaven. Relaxing on patio or beach and having meals and drinks delivered is definitely the relaxation I needed.
