The location of this APA Hotel is excellent—three streets east of the station and one from the bay. The room was also immaculate, the staff was very polite, and it was effortless to come and go. Checkout is also straightforward, as you drop the card in a box on the way out. It is an easy-to-use business hotel - and you can find APA hotels across Japan.

1) The hotel feels a bit dated. I think it is an older version. While the quality was still ok, it was starting to look tired and will need a renovation within the next few years. 2) I would have preferred not to have right-wing literature denying Japan's role in the Second World War in my room. This kind of thing (like religious texts in other countries) does not belong in a hotel, which is a place for sleeping and being a home away from home.

Location was excellent, near station, shopping, cultural sites, food options. Our room had a window overlooking a Lawsons outlet (excellent for supplies late at night or great sandwiches early morning before catching our train to wherever.) and the mountains and seafront. And snow feet thick everywhere.

APA hotel have a good standard, the room was perfect for one person, and very clean. The amenities were good, I also used the laundry service, the dryer is a bit slow compared to other hotel. The breakfast was Japanese style, which I liked a lot, and the chef was very kind and made sure that there were always a lot of options available.

APA hotel rooms are always very small but otherwise are well equipped, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient, about 5 minutes walk from the station. Breakfast was excellent value.

The rooms are only serviced every 3 days unless you specifically ask for acservice, although clean towels etc are provided daily. However the bins are not emptied and are too small to hold 3 days of rubbish.

Good location not far from the station and waterfront area (and easy bus ride from ferry terminal. Staff are friendly and helpful. They saw me roll up on my bike and came outside to greet me and show me where to park it.

Breakfast was average and the breakfast room is very crowded and chaotic. Free VOD at APA hotels is nice, but the film selections do not change often enough.

The staff are nice and friendly. The rooms are large, clean. I walk from JR station for 7-10mins.

There are only two washing machines and two dryers, it is not enough. Some stayers used the washing machine, they don’t come back to collect after stopping. I was waiting for a long time. the washing machines set a lock. I suggest leave a chair near the washing machine

The hotel is located very close to Aomori station. There is a convenience store nearby and a few great izakayas for night outs. Great value for the price.

The walls are a bit thin. You can clearly hear people talking outside of your room and walking around late at night.

The receptionist could talk quite well in english, the rooms were clean, the air conditioning was very good and there was a pleasant smell. The hotel Is in a good position in Aomori, even if the city Is quite small.

The rooms were very small for 2 people, like the other APA hotels. The receptionist were not flexible in the check-in timing: we arrived at 1 p.m. and could not check-in before 4 p.m., but they've been very kind letting us leave our luggages in the hotel

The room decoration and facilities met my expectations, it was need and tidy.

It was a tragedy for two ladies carrying big and heavy luggage to climb the hotel stairs to proceed with a check in. I think they shall build a path more user friendly for the disabled and for wheel luggage.
