Large rooms for a great price, luxury facilities with massage chair. Beautiful sea view. Location is close enough to the train station, located in a shopping street and filled with great restaurants. Convenience store located at the street floor connected to the hotel.

Note the walk to the train station is about 7-8 minutes, so in tough weather it could be hard to walk. The lady in the reception refused to help us book a taxi because they were all booked due to weather and told us to book it ourselves, quite hard since we don’t speak Japanese. We didn’t appreciate this answer but still recommend to stay here regardless.

We stayed 3 nights. The Deluxe room was spacious with a very large bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough but they only give you one pillow per person. We had a massage chair in the deluxe room which we used often. Great location. Convenient supermarket over the road downstairs. This has been the best Daiwa hotel we have stayed in Japan so far.

Not a very nice view. I thought we were going to have a harbour view as we paid for the deluxe room and it looked like it in the photos. We probably should of asked for a higher floor.

Located fairly close to Aomori station and a bus stop, it’s pretty convenient to get to. The walk from Aomori station is mostly covered, but if it’s snowing hard, you can still get covered. The hotel itself is connected to a Lawson, so you can always get food or withdraw cash very easily. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the highlight of most Daiwa Roynet hotels for me is the large bathrooms. They are much bigger than standard Japanese bathrooms. Showering as a 6 foot 3 person is not uncomfortable in this bathroom.

Our room was very spacious and had ample space to set down our luggage. Staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with me. Most of them understood and spoke english. We didn't try the breakfast this time but I would come back here to stay again and try the breakfast. Location is good and very convenient. About 10 mins to Aomori station and many shops/restaurants along the main strip. There's also a Lawsons right next door on street level.

Nothing! Everything was great.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. However, it wasn't easy to bring luggage along snow-filled walkways. It was also snowing when we were walking to the train station after we had checked-out. No material complain about the hotel. The only issue we faced was the washing machines were busy most of the time. We had to do our laundry late at night.

As mentioned, the insufficient number of washing machines. Would be great if the hotel provides a washing machine in each room like some hotels in Japan.

Location was good, located along the Main Street with convenient store at the ground floor, many choices of restaurants around the area. Rooms are new with all the facilities one might expect from a modern Japanese hotel.

While we have booked knowing the size, it was indeed too small for 4 of us with winter luggage. While breakfast was good, they served the same food for the whole 4 nights we were there, some variation would have been great. Bed is a tad too hard for our liking.

Easy access to Aomori station (flat path all the way and sheltered for most of the way). Liked the separate toilet and bath design. Room big enough for two people to have their personal space. Happy that I got a room with good sunlight 😊 Conbini is just at the first floor, which makes snack runs convenient 😁 Daily breakfast was nice too.

Having extra bars or hooks for hanging clothes outside the shower area would be nice 🙂

The location was really good and convenient. You have just walked around 3-5 min from Aomori station. Also, it was near to ASPAM and opposite with the department store; Sakurano. The 24-h convenient store; Lawson, also at 1F of hotel building. The room was really clean. The facilities were new and modern. The room was wide and the bed was really comfort. The best thing goes to the breakfast which is variety and really tasty. All is perfect!

Location was great. Amenities too. Good size for the rooms and the bath room was excellent. The internet connection was good. Our view from the windows were great too. the convenience store and very good eateries around. We loved the book shop/stationery place right opposite. We loved our stay here.

The staff knew very little about the basic information. Also their English knowledge could be a bit better since this is a well reputed hotel catering to international guests. I asked them about where I can get my money exchanged to Japanese Yen and they didn't have any idea. They could have such information handy, it will be helpful for travelers.

Spacious and bright bathroom, it's convenient for my disabled son. Staff is helpful. They provide courier service so I can send my luggage from Aomori to Tokyo Narita Airport. Breakfast delicious especially the scallops apple curry.

Actually satisfied overall. Just maybe a bit far from the JR Station if walking.
