There is an onsen for guests' use on the top floor. You can look out at the surrounding mountains, and can see Mount Ichizuchi from the bath. That made it that little bit more special than some other onsen's I used. Very convenient location for train travel. I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, as I only booked it for the location. It is one minute walk from the train station and there are bus stops outside the train station which you can use to get to the Mount Ichizuchi ropeway. There is a machine for ice in reception.

There was only one elevator and sometimes that meant it got busy and you had to wait a bit longer before it came. The Yukata was a little bit scratchy to wear. Not much the hotel could do about this, but I could hear the pedestrian crossing beeping from my room, which could have gotten annoying. It was mostly muffled out when I had the air conditioning on though.

A really welcoming hotel and staff, and very thoughtful of Henro. The rooftop public bath, with a superb view of Ishizuchi-san, is great for tired aching llegs and feet. The breakfast is also top shelf. Thoroughly recommended.

Free coffee machine and lovely baths, central area near to great restaurants and also close to nature

Slightly small amount of parking so clearer signage about where second and third parking lots were would be great

Across the road from the train and bus station. The room was warm and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly at check in and spoke English well. There is a public onsen. Overall, fantastic value for money.

We hadn't planned on staying in Saijo, but because no other hotels were available in Western Shikoku, we decided to go there. We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice hotel with friendly staff and clean comfy rooms. Bonus was the bath on the top floor and relatively easy to access expressway.

It's right next to the station, so if you have to be in Saijou for whatever reason (say, hiking), it's the perfect location. Very convenient and clean, and the staff was super kind. . Also, wonderful views of 石鎚山.

The place felt a bit outdated, and the rooms are very small. I didn't mind though.

Everything was really good except for tv channels Love that the aircon was adjustable and strong.

Tv had no international english channels. Should provide at least one english channel for news or allow casting Pillows not comfortable

located close acros the street from the train station and bus to Ischizuchisan (if you plan to climb..) Helpful staff.

there was quite a big step between the room and the bathroom.. not a big deal, just be careful :)

Easy access for hiking Mt Ishizuchi. Not much else to do in the town if you’re not climbing the mountain

Rooms are nice and clean. Great public bath with a nice view on the last floor. Breakfast was great for a hotel like this.
