Amazing view. You can’t get better from any other hotel or airbnb. Well worth the money since we were only there for 2 nights. The onsen was clean and did have views of the mountain.

The property is old. It does need updates. I understand why they haven’t though. And not sure if this can really be mentioned for the hotel or not, but I really wish someone warned us: the travel express buses **book days in advance*** we almost missed our booking because we couldn’t find a bus even though gps said it was fine.

Great hotel, the stuff are super nice and helpful. Family friendly. The hotel is big, clean, great onsen. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. All floors in the hotel and tooms are covered with rugs so if you have allergies take it into consideration. They have a restaurant and went out of their way to make sure they had vegetarian options for us. The breakfast buffet had various of options, and was delicious. The only critique i have is that they serve dumplings which they write to be made of only wheat, milk and egg, so we though its vegetarian, but it had pork inside. Hopefully they will change it. The hotel is up a hill so they have a shuttle to go down to the bus station. I would recommend renting a car instead.

On top of a hill, the hotel commands great views of Mount Fuji and Yamanaka Lake. The hotel has 2 onsen baths, both with views of Mt Fuji, though the one on 2F is smaller and less well maintained and the one on B1 is larger, cleaner and with dry and steam saunas. We loved theJapanese buffet breakfast, which offered a big varieties of dishes. Dinner was not included in the room price and we chose to dine at its Japanese restaurant - which offers quality dishes though a bit pricy.

The room was a bit dark, and the bathroom did not have ventilation - nor was air refresher was provided. When we checked in, the bell service and reception service were friendly and helpful. But when we checked out, it was raining outside and no one helped us taking the luggage out to the car. No one cared for our departure - quite a strange feeling compared to our arrival !

We stayed only one night but it was very lovely place to stay. We loved the room as well as Onsen. The view of Mount Fuji is stunning. We even woke up to enjoy sunrise. We had partial view of Mt. Fuji from our room. We had dinner in the french restaurant and the food was delicious. Also, we had many kinds of food for breakfast. I would love to stay again next time.

The hotel was little bit far from the train station but we enjoyed our stay. It was little bit noisy in Onsen but otherwise the view was breathtaking. The hotel is quite old but we had no issues with that.

The hotel was in an excellent location with a perfect view of Mount Fuji and the lake. The service was courteous and professional. The breakfast was excellent with a rich selection. The hotel has an onsen (not tattoo-friendly). The tatami room was excellent and very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the view. The double room was spacious, but the bathroom and shower were very small, and there was no balcony. Highly recommended for a stay in the Mount Fuji area.

Perfect location. It was amazing to be so close to this beautiful mountain and watch it changing throughout the day. The onsens both have the best views. One has a sauna and mist room and ice cold plunge pools. Rooms very comfortable with views of the mountain. The reception staff were amazing and helped us navigate the bus booking to Tokyo. Book ahead for dinner. All meals were very good.

The bar wasn’t open. We bought drinks from the shop but could only drink them outside. This was okay as the view made it so special but it would have been nice to chill before dinner.

Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, bath option. Onsen facilities, restaurant options, souvenir shops and view of Mount Fuji was exceptional. Lots of parking options. Location is great as Lake Yamanako is less touristy than other surrounding lakes and has everything you need, lots of Kombini options nearby and fun lake activities even during winter - loved the swan boats!

A little old and outdated decor. Pillows were a little hard - it’s ok we had our own!

The location and the view were awesome! This was a much better location than Fujikawaguchiko which was mobbed with tourists. This resort hotel was fairly secluded and the view from the room and particularly from the back lawn was best one could hope for. I would highly recommend staying at least one night here because that way you can see Fujisan both at sunset and sunrise. We got lucky because the sky was clear during our stay, thus we got spectacular views of this beautiful snow-covered mountain. The service was absolutely superb, and the restaurants were lovely too, including the French restaurant where we had dinner. They have a shuttle bus that will take from and back to bus stop # 138.

There was nothing we did not like. Wish we stayed there longer.

Mr Yamashita at the front desk was exceptional. His customer service was second to none and he helped me and my little son find excellent solutions for our food & transport challenges! The French restaurant on site was absolutely wonderful. Buffet breakfast was extensive & also great. Shuttle to and from lake with yet another kind and welcoming staff member was greatly appreciated. Room was extremely charming. Spotlessly clean. Grounds stunning.

8 or so stairs to our room (no lift!) was a slight challenge with giant suitcases. If you have mobility issues maybe just send them a note when you book. Disappointing the indoor pool was not available but this was prob my fault for misunderstanding the pics online.

The location and views were priceless. Fuji-san is absolutely stunning and the lake was lovely and quiet The staff were very polite and helpful and helped us organise a bus to Tokyo. The shuttle is a great idea too as the walk up to the hotel is quite a climb.

The room was very dated and tired with wallpaper peeling in places and in need of a refresh. It's condition is part of its charm but it would definitely benefit from an update. The bathroom was very small with yellow and even black patches in the grout and sealant. There was a child's sticker stuck to the shower head which suggested it hadn't been cleaned. There is an army base nearby and the sound of artillery fire resonates around the lake area from early in the morning and continues all day. Though this is not the hotel's fault and cannot be controlled it would be good to inform guests ahead of time.
