We stayed at the hotel to catch the ferry to Busan the next day, so the location was very convenient (walking distance to the ferry terminal). Room was old but clean, classic business hotel. It does the job and the city of Fukuoka is lovely.

Only one elevator for a 10 story building with many guests. We would always have to wait a long time to go to our room (9th floor). The bathroom felt a little old, but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

Room were good, we have only 2 pillows and asked for another one because my son is 12yo. We need three, other than that no issues. Value? We paid 8,000 yen+ for three of us for one night but when we went to kumamoto, I paid 6,000 yen for 6 of us. So, I don’t know.

I commented last time of pillows that was hard but this time, they were alright. My husband went to the reception which is located on the top floor 10, to ask for another pillow but he forgot to bring his card key. And he could not contact me because we have no signal from different country. He got panic and managed to ask for another key

Perfect location if you need to take an early Ferry at the Fukuoka port, also relatively easy (15-20 min walk) to reach from the bus terminal and Hakata train terminal. The room was a bit small for 2 people, but perfect for one or two nights. The room has a fridge, a kettle and couple of cups, you can also avail for several amenities (razor, toothbrush, etc in the reception). The self checkout at the elevator was pretty handy, as we needed to checkout early in the morning.

The AC was pretty old and you cannot control the temperature as it only has 3 levels (low, medium and high).

Highly recommend this hotel !!! Although it’s a bit away from Hakata station, but there’re quite a few bus stops can easily access to public transport and famous spots. Cheap but super clean, Room is compact but pretty decent size in Japan. Facilities are great, got everything in the room, of you can get from reception floor . I have to especially give compliments to their shampoo + conditioner (^-^) very good quality , to me it is very important to have good shower goods especially for female travelers

Everything is pretty much perfect, if I had to point one , it’ll be the elevator is a bit small and slow ,,, but not a big issue (￣∇￣)…

It was everything we needed! Staff very kind, check-in and check-out very smooth. There is a supermarket and convenience store in less than 5minutes walking distance and a great connection to the subway or bus station. It's a calm neighbourhood with nice little Izakayas, bars and restaurants here and there! Also easy access to all the other districts in Fukuoka or the coast!

Comfortable stay, nice amenities including washing machines, room essentials, etc., and conveniently located not far from the port so a good spot to stay if you’re taking the ferry. It’s also not too far from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The building has an odd layout with reception on the top floor and only one elevator, which made getting around in the building a little inconvenient.

The staff was very friendly and responded to all our requests. The bed was very comfortable with very conveniently located light switches and power outlets at the headboard. There's a couple of convenience stores, bakeries, some restaurants, and a supermarket within walking distance, so you have basically everything you need for a short stay. There's also a fridge in the room and you can use a microwave next to the reception.

A bit far to the center if you're going on foot and not very conveniently located in terms of public transport. The bathroom was very small. Still, I think it was very good value.

Clean rooms with TV, very quiet and not far from busy shopping malls. Helpful and friendly staff. We could use the washing machine even at 11 p. m. And there was a dryer also.

The WiFi in our room was not the best, maybe because it was the last room far away from the router place.

Worth the rate.

Cramp but it is ok . I should have gotten 2 double beds instead of one . At any rate, it is worth it , staying in One Five Marine. Nothing else I could ask for. You have all the amenities a traveler is looking for .

The location was very good and has access to key places to visit, grocery, shops, train stations . The staff were very friendly and helpful, the Nepalese, Japanese and Filipino staff.
