Overall the hostel was very good. The quality of the room, bathrooms and shared lounge & kitchen and areas was great! 10/10! Everything is very clean. I really liked the shared lounge & kitchen, as you can meet other travelers, it's very big and spacious, the kitchen is well equiped, so you can cook everything that comes up in your mind. (There are also basic things like oil, salt etc.. so you don't have to buy) There is really good WiFi, and you can easily get some work done in the lounge if you need to. The location is not in the center of Fukuoka, but it's right on a metro station, so you can get anywhere pretty easily. There are also some nice restaurants in the area, in a walking distance. The Ohori park is a walking distance, and is really nice if you want to do some sport.

The location isn't the best, you have to take a metro if you want to go to town, so if you want to go out past 0:00, that's a problem. But it's right on a metro station, so as long as you're back before 0:00, it's pretty accessible to all Fukuoka. The hostel room I took (in the pictures) is a little over priced in my opinion.

The location was excellent, across the road from Ohori Park , right beside a subway station and close to shops. We had a private room with excellent shared toilet and shower rooms. Very clean and quiet. Shared kitchen space was well stocked with pots and utensils and a nice space to meet fellow travellers. The breakfast was nice and convenient but very limited. A new menu was introduced on our last day that seems to offer more.

The front desk was not staffed all day. We would have liked to change our towels more frequently as we were there for a week.

The location was just a few steps away from the subway! I love that they have breakfast and a convenience store nearby. It's also a quiet neighborhood if that's your vibe. There is not too much open around the area at night, but it's near the parks, and it's lovely to walk around. They have toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) and clean shower area! The temperature of the room was just right. There is also enough space for luggage and a small storage with a lock beside the bed. I enjoyed my stay here!

If you prefer a busy area, this might not be your vibe. It depends on your roommates but I had someone organizing their luggage at midnight which kept me up for at least an hour.

Great location and close to train station. Simple breakfast with coffee provided. Common room with sufficient space. Comes with coffee bar and night bar in lobby. Activities planned for guests to join. Good recommendation of food and activities.

Breakfast doesn’t change- good to have some variety. Vents are not cleaned, able to see visible dust and dirt collection. Dark capsule/room. Good to have bedsheets/towels changed without additional fee for stays >3 days.

Staying at UNPLAN Fukuoka was the best decision ever! This was my first time staying in a hostel, sharing a space with fellow solo travelers, but my experience was nothing short of amazing. The stay was comfortable, peaceful, and safe. I even slept soundly, which was my biggest concern before coming. The showers were great, and the toilets were spotless. A huge bonus is the location which is right outside Ohori Park Station, making commuting incredibly convenient. I can’t wait to come back in a different season, and hopefully, next time, I’ll bring my family and friends along!

I used to stay in Tokyo branch. I have to say this is so much better than Tokyo. So close to train station and accommodation is so comfy. Probably best place to stay for overnight stays.

Please provide slippers. Disposable ones shouldn’t be too expensive.

A big shower room for female travellers. Free earplugs are provided. Even though the beds are just separated by curtains, the room light will not leak in which is very important for light sleepers! Also, the other roommates keep quiet from 23:00 to 07:00 and it helps a lot too. The kitchen & common area are on the 5th floor. Fridge & oven are provided. The staff stick some notice to recommend tourist attractions in the city. Inside the bed, a locker (with key) is provided so you may store your personal belongings.

The lights in the restrooms are quite dark. For those who need to put their makeup on, it may be a bit troublesome (haha). I paid the room with breakfast provided. The breakfast was decent but not much of variety. There was not quite enough room to open up luggage (especially case luggage). Maybe just three to four people can open up their luggages at the same time.

Located next to a subway entrance and across the street from Ohari Park. Very safe area to walk around at night. The cafe in the lobby makes exceptionally good lattes and the breakfast included in the morning is perfect: toast, coffee, yoghurt. The lounge on the 5th floor is set-up nicely for remote workers as well as conducive for meeting fellow travellers. A very pleasant stay! I'll be back : )

Possibly more lighting in the sleeping quarters. Loved that it was modern and ambient, but had to use my cell phone light to find things in my luggage, briefcase, etc.

Stayed for 4 nights, and it was amazing. The capsule was so big that it even had a hanger! There was an elevator and even though the shower rooms are located on different floors, there were plenty and were pretty clean. The common room on the 5th floor can be very loud sometimes, but I stayed in the cafe space at night and it was way more quiet. Breakfast was decent too, grateful enough to have all the fresh bread and coffee. Location was nice too, the station is 5 minutes away by foot, 7-11 also very easy to access. I love everything here.

Great capsule style hotel in an amazing location with a metro station just metres from the front door. Beds were fairly comfortable with ample room in each capsule. Security locker in each capsule was small but sufficient. The upstairs hang out area was great with so much room as was the cafe/hangout area downstairs. Bathrooms were clean although there are not that many toilets for the amount of guests, but the shower area was excellent. Staff were very lovely and keen for a chat and able to provide lots of useful information.
