Perfect to go to the onsen when ever you want. The onsen is open from 15.00 to 11.00 next day. Shuttlebus to town goes twice every hour.

We arrived 14.45 and check in was from 15.00. The room was ready but we still had to wait 15 minutes

Free shuttle bus to and fro the town center. Room is spacious and clean. The relatively rural and tranquil atmosphere made this stay relaxing and enjoyable. Wide spread at breakfast and many amenities available at the hotel itself.

While it's true that this facility probably hit its peak 30 years ago, the friendliness of the staff, incredible location and family friendly activities make up for the aged facilities. If you aren't expecting perfection you are going to love it here We were the only western foreigners and were treated with such kindness and patience from both guests and staff. The onsen was lovely, the kareoke room was a great treat and the breakfast was perfectly adequate. We truly enjoyed ourselves there and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a down to earth onsen experience surrounded by incredible nature; trails right out the front door!

Well the old-fashioned hotel from another century is worth the trip! You will find yourself in a Miyazaki storyline. Our room was quite spacious and well furnished. The hotel has few entertaining areas like bowling, crane machines, onsen and a pool (charged), closing pretty early. They also have a cafe and restaurants. The staff speaks English. The plus: a free shuttle bus will stop at the bus terminal to and from the hotel. A convenient store (Lawson) is located around the hotel.

Our hotel room was gorgeous! Combination of western and Japanese style. So lovely. The view from the room was also lovely. Indoor and outdoor onsen was just amazing! Especially the outside onsen with the snow setting. So gorgeous. Attaching view from our hotel room :)

Walls may be a little bit thin. Heard the above neighbors quite well, so if one has problem with sleeping with a bit of sounds recommend bringing earplugs.

Nestled in the forest 5 minutes away by shuttle bus from the main hotel building our log house was well equipped and very comfortable, with kitchen fully equipped and its own jacuzzi tub. Common hot water bath for hotel guests was impeccable

We were promised that towels would be changed daily and house cleaning would occur every alternate day… but this didn’t happen

The cabins were nicely spaced in a little village. Well appointed cabins with just about everything you need. 24/7 on call shuttle service to the main resort was so easy. Resort has everything from onsen to amazing buffet restaurant. Shuttle bus to and from town was a bonus too.

Only thing missing was a washing machine in the cabin. It was very well appointed with a full kitchen otherwise.

We stayed in cabins, it was good and specious..But was not cleaned properly.. These are away from the main hotel, so it's a distance to walk..I believe they provide transportation to come to main building, but I didn't use it as we had our bikes..They have a natural onsen but indoor which you need to pay extra, it in the main building.It was a good experience..I was expecting an outdoor like the picture shown, but couldn't find it..

Very spacious cabin hut, very warm and cozy in the winter. Onsen was very nice. Free shuttlebus was very convenient and necessary. The food was very very good.

The shuttlebus is necessary because the cabins are far way from the lobby or city center.

The nature and landscape is cool . The onsen is very beautiful and comfortable. The food is very good. The stuff are nice Bath tab jaccuzi is nice

Every thing in the rooms was old and not very clean. The shuttle to the log house works very good but felt strange You need reserve time during day hours for laundary
