The staff and the fellow travellors are definitely the highlight of this establishment. Owner herself drove us to the local onsen too since she was also coming back from a tiring ski day. Fantastic chats by the fireplace, knowledgable staffs about the ski locations. 5 minute walk to main street with good amount of restaurants. Highly recommended if youre a solo travellor wanting to meet some friends.

The only complaint I have is that its really cold in the house. The seconds stepping out the shower was brutal. Would recommend showering at the local onsens instead.

The staff were lovely. Ngoman and Bailey were very helpful and friendly - and breakfast was always served promptly! Sarah (the host) organised a hot pot dinner for all the guests at the lodge, which was both delicious and fun. She also took us to her favourite onsen, which became our favourite also. The location is pretty good, close to restaurants and bars, as well as the bus stop for the resorts. I would definitely stay at Kee Lodge again.

I wish there was an onsen closer to the lodge, but the short walk/drive was fine.

The staff were amazing and so helpful! It’s in great location in Echoland and the facilities were always clean and tidy. The free breakfast is also super helpful so you can get out onto the slopes ASAP. Easy walk down to the bus stop to access all mountains in the area. Staff were very responsive when I had questions before arriving and accepted my board bag before I arrived so my gear was ready and waiting when I got there. They also had some great local recommendations

Felt comfortable straight away, traveling alone and not knowing anyone makes it hard. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed you into a relaxed environment.

I stayed in a mixed dorm, had to store my things under my bed and when a new person entered the room they also stored their stuff under my bed. Only down side of sharing a too share a room and not have any real area designated for your luggage.

This place is awesome for skiers/snowboarders looking for a well maintained and comfortable living while having a blast at the snow. The staff are wonderful, easy going people who are always down for a laugh and more importantly a drink. Would 100% come again and highly recommend!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They fit the hostel vibe well and we're angering and helpful and set a good tone. Everything is well organized without anything really out of place. It is great to have breakfast included, an equipment drying room with direct access to outside and more.

Breakfast was good for a hostel-type setup, and the capsule beds were quite comfortable as long as you're OK in having a small amount of personal space. Was good to have locked storage although you always felt really safe in the lodge.

The communal areas often felt cold unless they put the fire on

Sarah was arms open from the moment I walked through the door. I would highly recommend Kee Lodge to anyone for its location, staff and amenities. Included Breakfast exceeded my expectations for the cost of a night, and some nights we would all put in together and do cooking classes. The bunks are enclosed and very private with a massive amount of storage. All in all, I made some great mates, felt extremely welcomed and will be staying there again next year. Note: All of Hakuba is struggling with staffing issues, so don’t be shocked if a pick up isn’t available or you need to help out a little… and by little, I mean clean up after yourself (it’s a lodge). I had mates staying elsewhere paying 3x the amount I did and were helping out more… Thank you so much Sarah! Wish you all the best and hopefully see you in the not so distant future. Jake

I’m really struggling to think of any negatives for the price. The Hakuba staffing issues isn’t anyone’s fault and it isn’t hard to clean up after yourself anyway…

Very well set up as a ski lodge. Close to the main strip with lots of bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Great place to go as a solo traveler. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip.

Very friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable, accom was easy to find and close to restaurants and the bus stop to go skiing.

The temperature for the heater in the room didn’t change so sometimes felt a bit cold, and only a couple showers for the whole place but never had to wait long
