Perfect stay for someone having to catch an early flight out of Kansai, as this accommodation is only two stations away. The owner is friendly and will show you all available facilities upon Check-In. For the price, there is everything you need. Towels, shampoo, toothbrush, tea/coffee are all provided and to be found in the hallway. There are also coin-operated washing machines and driers. There are various shops nearby and two supermarkets reachable by a 10 min walk. The room is large enough to accommodate two people. As this is a traditional Japanese Ryokan, the walls are thinner than Western Hotels. You can hear your people moving throughout the hallway. Also, there is some noise from the nearby train tracks (which should be obvious, as it is directly next to a train station. So this is not a point of complaint).

There is a curfew past midnight. You can't enter or check-in past midnight. Don't book if you have a very late flight that could be delayed..

1) 3 minute walk to the station. 2) first train to the airport was at 5:20. We made our 7:15 international flight, no problem. Staff was knowledgeable about these things. 3) nice and hot ofuro, Japanese shared bath. It was very clean and just the thing for a last winter night in Japan 4) common fridge, microwave, etc

The area is a little quiet. Grocery, drugstore, 7-11, some izakayas. It’s basically a place to stay as an alternative to the expensive airport hotel.

I thought it was going to be the most unimpressive night of my trip since I was randomly choosing a place near the airport to stay for the first night. But it turned out to be very very clean; the tatami was so new as if the place just opened yesterday lol. Although the bathroom and restroom were shared, there were few people living in the place so it was also clean and I could use it whenever I needed to.

Great location, close to airport. Most people stay here either before flying early in the morning of late at night after flying.

Sound insulation isn't the greatest. The hotel is quite busy at night from late check-ins and in the morning from early check-outs. The rooms are also accessible by stairs so you do get quite a bit of noise from people dragging their luggage up and down the stairs.

We arrived very late, minutes before 11 pm. The host was waiting for us and was very understanding and kind. He showed us to our room and washroom. The room was comfortable and the facilities were very clean. Great choice for a night's stay before an early flight! The train to the airport is a few minutes walk and very easy to find.

Excellent location; close to the airport and great for an overnight stay after a long flight. We arrived at Kix late and were at the guesthouse in about 30 minutes. The guesthouse is an older family run facility but is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

The area itself is nothing special but it has basic stores and restaurants; good for a short stay.

The Japanese style room was wonderful! The location couldn't have been better, and the lady at the desk was very sweet even though we couldn't actually understand each other.

The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but it was only for one night.

I was pleasantly surprised by this ryokan taken at the last minute. Near the airport by train, the room was spacious and had a small fridge. The staff was friendly. Very good WI-FI and many restaurants around.

Especially handy if you're dealing with the airport, otherwise things to do in the area are limited.

The woman at the front desk was so sweet and friendly! The location is very convenient as it's next to a train station on the line leading to Kansai International Airport. The room was comfortable, they had even turned on the air conditioning before I arrived, which I really appreciated!

Great host! For the price you paying to get spacious room with water sink & A/C is worth every yen! Great location 2 mins to train station and there are good restaurant nearby station. There is Y50 vending machine right next to the place. I will definitely come back again for Rinku Outlet experience with early flight on next day!

Nothing, for those with big heavy luggage may experience difficulty while carrying to second floor.
