The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. It is neat that they renovated their guesthouse by hand and their care and attention to detail shows- this guesthouse is a unique place to stay in Japan! I appreciated the cooler temperature in the dorm for sleeping and the free coffee and tea before going out in the morning. I would stay again.

I'm a little surprised that other reviews haven't mentioned noise. From my bunk, I could hear conversations clearly from downstairs and the door/floorboards made it impossible to be quiet when walking around. The good thing was that the guesthouse was pretty quiet between 12 am - 8 am. I used noise-cancelling headphones and was okay- definitely recommend bringing something if you are a light sleeper.

Small, family run traditional hostel. Host couple is so nice and friendly. Spacious Japanese-style room. Quiet, got great sleeps. Two shared showers, two shared toilets on property—never had to wait. Nice water pressure/temperature in the showers. Instant coffee/tea available at all times. Great location in the Noge section of Yokohama—lots of restaurants, bars in the area. Walkable to all parts of Yokohama. Really close to a JR and Keikyu train station. Very good value for the money for the prime location.

Mina and Kenta were so lovely! It was such a pleasure to meet them and I'll definitely go back if I ever visit Yokohama again. The vibe of the hostel was so fun and charming, it would be an excellent place to stay for solo travellers. Being welcomed back by the hosts after a day of sightseeing felt like coming home! ♥ Mina & Kenta, I hope our cross paths again one day.

Great staff. 10/10 ✨ - The hostel had a very cozy vibe. You could tell how much care and effort the owners put into it. They even provided free hot water bottles in case it got cold at night (though it wasn’t too cold - room temperature was perfect). - The beds were very comfortable. - Everything was super clean. They also have a no-shoes policy but provide cute slippers for free. :)

Very nice place in the city. The room was clean and quiet. The host is a young couple. They are very nice and good communication. The only one thing is the Guest House located at the side alley. At the first we toke time to get on it. But after that we knew the fast way how to get to the Train Station in 5 minutes.

Mina and Kenta are brilliant hosts, tried their best to make your stay as comfy as possible. The location is just a few minutes from main streets and metro stations so it's quite accessible, but also away from the crowd.

It's an old house so it can get a bit cold in winter, but the heating is on in the bedroom and public areas, and hot water bottles are available.

This guest house is off the beaten path and it was exactly as described. I liked all the knick knack decorations. The afternoon scones were delicious if they happen to still be available since they seem to be popular. The futon beds were comfortable. The room air conditioner worked really well. The hosts Kenta and Mina were so welcoming to their establishment.

A true Japanese experience on a futon on tatami mat on the floor The room was hugely spacious The young couple with their gorgeous baby boy who own it were lovely It was so close to Chinatown for great food and just a short walk from the railway We commuted by bus to the shipping terminal for a 3 week cruise thereafter and were really happy with our choice of accommodation the night before The Convenience store is close and it’s in a very central position

Would have liked to have seen some tables and chairs out front of the property to sit and wait for check in Otherwise not a thing not to like here There’s everything for a comfy stay

This is an AMAZING guesthouse!!!!!!! It’s located close to Chinatown, but off on a side road so it’s very quiet. The owner Kenta and his family for so kind and welcoming!!!!! The house was very cozy and comfortable. I loved that there was free tea and coffee provided as well! I definitely will stay here again in the future!!! Thank you for everything!!!!😀

The toilet rooms were super tiny and hard for me to have any space in. Everything else was perfect!!!

The location is perfect! Close to Sakuragicho station, tourist spots and many restaurants but still in a quiet area. The property itself felt so homey and has a ton of character, you can tell that the hosts put some thought into their decor. Plus I loved the extra detail of hot water bottles tucked into my duvet at night, it felt extra cozy!
