I recently stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Chiba Kashiwa, and I must say, this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment I checked in, the staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, showcasing an incredible level of professionalism and attentiveness. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The rooms are impeccably maintained and spotless. It's clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, as everything felt fresh and sanitized. You can truly relax knowing your space has been thoroughly cleaned and cared for. Exceptional Staff Service: The staff's kindness and attention to detail are second to none. I made a mistake by initially booking a smoking room, and after realizing it, The staff not only noticed this but also proactively offered to change my room to ensure I was comfortable. Their thoughtfulness and commitment to guest satisfaction were genuinely heartwarming. Outstanding Amenities: One of the highlights of my stay was the abundance of free amenities available right by the elevator. They provide everything you could need and more: face masks, body lotions, face creams, bath bombs, razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, chopsticks, teas—you name it, they have it! This level of generosity is rare and truly enhances the experience. Value for Money: The value for money at Sotetsu Fresa Inn is simply unmatched. The quality of service, the cleanliness, and the array of amenities make it an excellent choice for both short and long stays. Minor Drawbacks: There are only two slight inconveniences I experienced: Outlets by the Bed: There are no USBs or power outlets by the bed. However, the hotel compensates by providing an extension cord with USB ports, which is incredibly thoughtful. Bathroom Fan: The bathroom fan cannot be turned off, which might bother light sleepers. Thankfully, the hotel offers free earplugs, conveniently located with the other amenities, to address this issue.

This was honestly one of the best hotels I've been to and would gladly stay here again. I had never traveled internationally before so I was a bit nervous with how I would handle things. The staff was very helpful and patient with me, the room was a good size for me, even when I bought more suitcases to hold all of the stuff I bought. They cleaned the room regularly, the breakfast I added to my reservation was very good and the amenities provided were also very sufficient. They were also very flexible with me since I went to stay for a weekend in Okinawa and a week in Osaka and they let me keep the room I had so I didn't have to worry about moving luggage constantly to change places. They also helped me with the luggage delivery service to send my suitcases to the airport prior to leaving so that was extremely helpful. The location was also very ideal - they are kind of hidden off of a side road so you don't have to worry about much traffic and it's really close to not only the train station but also to any restaurants or grocery stores within at least 5 minutes. What more can I say - it was great.

I have nothing to say negatively nor would suggest any improvements since I didn't have any issues. Again, very friendly and helpful staff, they kept things clean routinely and the breakfast offered was delicious. If there was only one thing I would suggest - maybe add some more of those washer/dryer units. There were only two and sadly, it was a bit tricky to find times to bring laundry down when there were only two. I had to stay up a whole night to make sure I could do all my laundry since that was when everybody was asleep. Maybe add a couple more units on another floor so there are more options but other than that, nothing else.

I’ve always enjoyed staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn whenever I’m in Japan, sometimes for up to two weeks. The location is perfect, with restaurants, Don Quijote, and everything else nearby. The highlight for me has always been the warm and welcoming reception from the front staff.

That said, I did notice an issue during my stay on this visit. The Japanese cleaning lady on our floor didn’t share the same friendly vibe as the front desk team, especially towards foreigners. It was a bit disappointing compared to the otherwise excellent experience.

The staff were very polite and you could feel the genuine and warm japanese hospitality. We had a small mix up with our room bookings but they were really apologetic and helpful. I like the location that its close to station and that everything you need is nearby. We had an overall amazing stay.

There isn't enough laundry machines. The breakfast selection isn't great. But that's about it.

staff were great! Rooms were fine. the bathroom fan was a bit loud. AC was good but not intuitive for a gaijin. Recommend you have english instructions for the AC controller.

A bit more variety for breakfast would be nice. English instructions for the AC. Later check out. or Half day rates would be nice for those of us who fly out in the evening.

Staff were friendly and patient, room was clean and a decent size, breakfast was great. Quick walk to 711 and train station. The area seemed lively of a Friday evening. I would have liked to stay longer.

Maybe it was the jet lag, and this was my second day since quitting smoking (so take with a grain if salt), but I didn't sleep particularly well. The bed was a little hard, and the blanket was not fitted in the sheet correctly.

I've stayed here a few times now and keep going back to them. Rooms are quiet and clean and the beds are very comfy. Really like their PJs too. Staff are all lovely and the selection at breakfast is fantastic.

I have no comments about anything bad. Just an FYI for people with very large suitcases. You might struggle to open them up on the floor as it can be a bit narrow.

The location is good, walking distance to the main train station. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Staffs are friendly and helpful and always cheerful. Rooms are maintained and clean. Facilities that are indicated are all available for your convenience.

The check in was a bit confusing for a first timer, but staff was helpful.

Clock is so small, hard to see. Shelf of Suitcase is too small, can’t fit. Refrigerator is too small, cannt put anything. People who stay long, need to put a lot of food. Don’t understand how to use shower toilet.

This location suited our needs as it was close to a venue we were attending regularly. It is also close to the train station and surrounded by very good quality restaurants. It was quiet.

We stayed for 10 nights and the breakfast was included. It was very good but after 10 days a little repetitive.
