Large family twin suite compared to other Japanese accommodation with two king single beds and two sofa beds, perfectly suited our family of 4. Fast wifi, Kids enjoyed the pool and the onsen. Beds were very comfortable. Nice views out of the balcony and windows and finally some decent blinds that block out the morning summer sun if you like a sleep in.

Free parking a bit far from the hotel's entrance. The location is quite remote in the mountains and would be a bit inconvenient to access without a car. If you don't want to dine at the hotel's restaurant it's at least 30 mins drive to the nearest town for other options.

Such a beautiful experience to remember and recall. We had an amazing stay! The white Christmas wish was granted. There was so much to do at the hotel after whole day of Ski fun! Shuttle- Free pickup from Inawashiro Stn (should be reserved in advance esp ski season) Staff- beyond amazing, every area! Facilities/Experience - 5 star Onsen (indoor/outdoor) , Sauna, Pool, Marshmallow nights, Table Tennis, Mini Library, Huge Lounge , Massage Chairs, laundry, dryer, free coffee (lobby) and ice cream Ski Lessons/Rental- hotel ground floor, value for money for lessons and gear rentals, amazing Teacher and staff Ski Resort - beside the hotel, can ski in/out or request for free drop off/pickup, had Beginners to Advance terrains, Ski Sightseeing Gondola, Beautiful powder Snow Experience with kids area Buffet- worth the price and inclusion, it was a lovely treat and great hospitality Our room has a balcony - dreamy experience sleeping and waking up with a view of the snow. So serene and beautiful. This resort is more known to locals, 90% of their guests during our stay were locals which felt sense of belongingness and embrace the full Japan experience.

Nothing to dislike

Large room with big curtains and very comfortable beds, could get excellent rest at night as it is also sound proof. Toiletries are very nice and room has a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was very nice but I was missing a bit more western options. Onsen area had free massage chairs in front. Lobby is spacious with ping-pong table and there is a free walk and marshmallow roasting they offer daily. They also have a very nice souvenir shop. All in all excellent place to come and charge your batteries and fully relax. I would like to come back.

Not the hotel's fault, but the area is lacking food options so plan ahead if you are staying more days.

Very spacious room, serene setting surrounded by forests and mountains. Fabulous onsen, especially loved the outdoor onsen. There’s also a free nature walk in the morning.

Not a dislike, but those who want to drive around the many sights in the area should be aware that the hotel is about a 20-min drive from the main road. A scenic drive with views of Lake Onogawa but if you’re here for a few days, the drives do add up.

Everything about this property is amazing, will 1000% be going back there! We weren’t expecting snow but is snowed one of the nights we were there and the staff provided gumboots and coats to go out in the snow in. The staff were amazing and so sweet, they actually blew my mind how thoughtful they were. One staff member came outside running in the snow as he seen my partner and I trying to take photos and offered to take a photo of us. Another staff member came running with an umbrella when we got back to the hotel as it just started snowing. I left my phone charger at the previous hotel we stayed at and they were kind enough to lend me one for my stay there. Customer service is out of this world here!

That I couldn’t stay longer!

This a beautiful resort hotel, lots of activities for longer stays. We loved the onsen, very large room with a nice view. Walking the property is encouraged, and they have a ropeway as well, included in the room rate. Didn't eat there, we went into the nearby town to an Italian restaurant, which was quire good. Laundry facility available.

Used laundry, but there were no translated instructions for the machines, using our translate program was not much help. Managed to get clothes done, took two trips to the dryer to dry them. Regardless, glad to have them clean!

Great facilities - beautiful outdoor onsen, indoor pool/spa, ski in/ski out. Staff were very helpful. Loved the buffet breakfasts and dinners.

Great location for a short stay, but for a longer visit the ski resort needs more runs, including some powder zones, maybe tree runs.

the breakfast is very nice, so does the dinner! there are many many kind of foods for our selection. The outdoor spa can easy your body and make you feel relax! Not mentioned the ski in and ski out directly to the hotel is really very convenient!

The hotel was very good. The room was clean and spacious. The hot spring was great and great outdoor atmosphere. Outside the hotel was surrounded by snow wall which was great experience for us. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite.

Close to the ski resort, it was very convenient for renting equipment and enjoying winter activities. The breakfast was okay but good enough to provide energy for skiing.

Dinner is quite expensive considering the content. The hotel is a bit old.
