The location was quiet, easy to access (just one stop from Kyoto station), and ideal for my attendance at a conference in Kyoto Research Park. It was less than 10 minutes' walk away. The staff were incredibly helpful when I asked for anything and really contributed to the success of my trip. I appreciated the free coffee/tea/Japanese tea in the lounge and only regret that I don't like whiskey, so I couldn't benefit from the free availability of that spirit every evening. Having my own refrigerator and cooking facilities was very convenient for me. Wi-fi was excellent so I could do my work, too. The room looked completely new.

Nothing really. I would have appreciated a skirt hanger in the wardrobe, but few hotels anywhere provide them, and there were plenty of other hangers. The lack of a restaurant on site might bother some travelers, but I didn't find it any bother, with restaurants and shops nearby.

A small hotel, located in a quiet, however, industrial-like area (warehouses, different companies). The room was quite spacious. Bathroom and toilet separate. Everything was clean. A coffee machine available in a common area. In the evenings whisky tasting at the reception. Very nice and helpful staff.

At the beginning we felt weird in the surroundings of the hotel due to the kind of industrial looking places. Far to the main attractions of Kyoto but a 5-minute walk to bus stops that could take you everywhere you want.

The hotel is centrally located. Larger room than normal, small kitchen not available in any other hotel. Clean room.  We had a good experience. Very kind Manager and staff is great one of which named shigeno (i hope i spelled her name right) she did everything for us helping my wife with the TV setup, and extras like towels and so on. We are very satisfied.

Unforgettable stay, the staff of this hotel is very attentive, special thanks to Akira who gave me good culinary addresses but especially to Nohé, very cultured, who taught me so much about the region and its surroundings.

Everything is complete, basic essentials. But if u need a bowl to reheat things then they don't have one, they do provide paper bowls. Ceramic plates, mugs, glasses is provided. Kitchen utensils too.

It's not that I don't like but maybe just a little bit inconvenience. The location is bit way off. So you need to walk abit to the stations and the lack of convenient store nearby to buy basic stuff.

I found the location to be less convenient for visiting the major touristic sites in Tokyo. It's not well connected by metro, even though buses run in the area frequently. Still, be prepared to spend more time than you would like on public transportation.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. I was able to cook in the room, which was great, since I stayed 3 weeks. The hotel offers free coffee, tea and bath amenities 24 hours per day, besides drinks in the evening. Apart from that, staff is very kind! The hotel is located in a non-touristic area, if we may use that definition, so the area is quite quiet in the evenings.

Everything went well. I would only mention that my room did not have a view, but that is something that cannot be changed, there is another building in front of the window. Other rooms of the hotel probably have a street view, so if you like a view, you can ask beforehand about that.

The staff was really helpful and kind. Plus, they offer a free drink from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with some snacks which is a good thing to come to after a long day of sightseeing. The lobby/communal area is very comfortable and stylish and there are two types of drip coffee and two types of tea offered free of charge. The beds are comfortable (my travelling companion said the mattress was too hard for her, but it was perfect for me). Easily accessible laundry facilities on each floor.

While the room was overall clean, the carpet was quite dirty or stained. Another thing, the plugs on the kitchen counter did not work so I had to improvise with where to plug in the kettle for my tea. The location is nice in the sense that it's in a quiet, very Japanese neighborhood, and there are a few stores not too far, but at the same time, depending on what bus or train you need to take for sightseeing, it's a bit inconvenient. To reach one line, one literally meanders through some fishing factory compound and would get lost without Google Maps.

Very quiet. Nice personnel, all spoke English. Close to Umekoji JR station. Kombinis and restaurant close to the hotel.

Very polite and helpful staff, perfect service, I felt in a 5 star hotel. Good to have a whole kitchen hidden in your room. The place is quiet at night and the beds were big. I particularly liked the bathroom: you have toilet, bathroom and changing rooms separately and also shower (sitting) and bath tub a separated and the tub is big.

Location is in the middle of nowhere, nice and quiet, but it will take you time to get anywhere.
