The apartment was perfectly clean and had a kitchen which was great after spending nearly 2 weeks in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and eating out every meal. We didn't have a car and were able to get around easily leveraging the bus from the airport, city buses (run infrequently) and the free shuttle bus. There were 2 bikes which were a great way for us to zip around town easily and quickly. Jurg was so welcoming, even offering to pick us up at the bus station as it was raining.

Knew going in but the apartment isn't near a ton of restaurants and shops. There are a few walkable places but be prepared to use the bus system, walk or bike where you would like to go.

From the moment we arrived and met the owner outside they were incredibly friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to help us including providing a baby cot completely free of charge when they saw we had a baby! They also recommended us some great restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The facilities provided were outstanding, including both a Netflix and Amazon Prime video accounts completely setup and ready for you to use, a washing machine and liquid provided free of charge, water bottles, snacks and even ice pops were provided free in the freezer! The beds and pillows were very soft and comfortable, and the large rainfall shower was hot and relaxing. There's also an electric hob with pots, pans, oil and various sauces if you want to cook. Honestly it's everything you could want, I can absolutely recommend anyone stay here!

There's very little I could complain about, the Hotel is a bit far from civilization and took us a while to get there, but it's absolutely worth it if you can rent a car. The stairs were a bit creaky..? But that's not really a complaint!

Staying at the Little Swiss house hotel is like finding a gem. Not only will you be staying in a beautiful apartment that is equipped with everything you need to live, but especially thanks to your hosts Yuko and Jorg who are incredible people. They are empathetic, hard-working, helpful, and at the same time manage to provide plenty of privacy. They both can speak English, which is not entirely common on the island. We have never met hosts like this before, and we travel all over the world. We felt like at home here for 14 days. We will definitely be back.

Yuko and Jorg made us feel at home. They even gave us champagne when they found out that my fiancee I just got engaged! It was very sweet of them. The house itself was clean, wide, it had everything you need from cooking utensils and condiments. The house has a wide balcony too! It was very relaxing to just sit there at night and drink. Also, the bathroom was stylish! Location was good & there were restaurants nearby. My fiancee and I enjoyed our stay ♡ Thank you so much!

Love everything about the place. The location, the living space where everything is intuitive, the quality of the materials used to build the house, and especially the owners, whom were very friendly and hospitable to us, we enjoyed our short conversations with them :) Definitely would love to come back to stay!

One of our best stays in Japan. Very nice and clean appartment. The host is incredibly hospitable and helped us with tips and recommendations. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back sometime.

Great place to stay. Very comfy with all stuff/ furnishings you would need I really appreciate the huge amount of space you have after having stayed the previous few nights in a typical small Japanese hotel room!

Extremely nice and helpful hosts. Great location, 5 minutes away from the best snorkelling spot on the island. Room was huge, super clean and comfy.
