The Meteor Garden was a great dorm style room. The only real downfall to the Meteor Garden was the location, whilst it was central and close to a 7-11 for supplies and there was a couple of buses that stopped right at the carpark, it was a bit of a distance (around 1.3km) to the closest bus stop that had access to more of the Hakuba Valley buses which serviced more of the snow resorts, having said that you could walk to the bus stop, it was just a bit of a walk in snow gear!

There is a 7-eleven nearby, which is pretty convenient.

Iimori Station & Hakuba Station are both 25-minutes walk from the hotel, which is not too convenient but still ok. There are stains on the sofa in our room. The bidet in the toilet did not work properly. We stayed here in the autumn, and the kitchen was not open so we could not use the microwave.

Quite great for family’s as no noise and good nite sleeps. Friendly staff took us to train station on checkout Bus station out side to different ski resorts Fantastic showers and bathrooms Great dryer and washing machine Nice comfy , warm rooms Dry room for ski gear Highly recommend

Friendly, lovely, helpful staff. Convenient to get to ski resorts as shuttle bus stop in front of hostel. All the basic amenities you need, especially if there for snow.

Comfy beds and the crew drove us to our bus on the last day. They also let us keep our room until 5pm on the day of our check out. Much appreciated!

simple but has all the facilities needed for a ski/snow hostel. Helpful staff, lots of space.

I arrived at the hostel at 8.30pm, however I was charged an additional 5000 yen as a late fee. Most hostels have someone working reception until 9pm, and if you are arriving late, aslong you let them know (which I did) they will just leave the key and instructions for you. I was dissapointed that I had to pay such a high fee for getting to an area at a fairly reasonable time.

Close to shuttle stop, 7-11 and cozy rooms. Staff were helpful and picked us up from the bus stop and would have dropped us off too at the end of our stay.

Not close to town so you have to take the shuttle or a taxi to get around.
