Great location and facilities. Room was warm, shower was hot, staff were friendly. Hakuba Valley shuttle bus stop was directly out the front for access to all ski resorts (closest is Hakuba 47 & Happo-One) and 7/11 convenience store only a few minutes walk down the road for quick tasty and easy meals! Had breakfast in the property on the last morning which was lovely and not too expensive. Was perfect for our stay which was mainly focused on skiing. Owners also provide a pickup/drop off service from the bus station/train station if you need

If you like restaurants nearby it has a few but not as many as other areas in Hakuba. Didn’t bother us.

Great stay! We stayed for 5 nights; our room was clean and comfortable. Small, but everything you need. Bus stop for the hakuba valley shuttle is across the street, 7/11 down the road & 10 minute walk to Echoland. The highlight of the stay however were the owners. Lovely Japanese couple, spoke little English but so kind. Fresh towels left outside our room every couple of days, and mandarins given to us regularly. Thank you so much for having us, and for your hospitality. We loved it!

Warm and cozy room. I booked maisonette room which accommodates 4 ppl & ensuite bathroom. Tiny space for 3 big luggages to open. However, the room is warm and comfortable except that the room is decorated in old-fashioned style and has some worn out furnitures. Acceptable. The owner is kind and tried to give us information. Even she cannot speak english, no problem. We can still communicate by google translate.

Breakfast is limited and does not have enough choice. We stayed for 4 nights and had same breakfast everyday.

Breakfast was wholeheartedly great! Apart from the language barrier as it was also my first time seeing snow, the hosts knew how to set up an atmosphere where you automatically feel at home once you slip into your house shoes as you enter the door :) To some, it might seem that its located quite a walk from a few restaurants and your 7Eleven, but having a nice 5 minute stroll through the snow covered setting is definitely a wonder you must witness, both in the day and night time.

It took me a few minutes to find the place as the name on the booking says "Petite Hotel and Restaurant Air Mail" and the only sign outside says "Air Mail". Luckily, I recognised the building from the images on the website.

Great location as it's right on the shuttle station for the blue line. It takes you to most ski resorts directly. The owners will help you get your rentals and make you breakfast if you order it.

It's a 10-15 minute walk from the center with restaurants so if you don't have a car and it's snowing it can be a challenging. I didn't have any problems walking personally.

E2 free shuttle bus at the doorstep goes to Happo-one and Iwatake ski resorts. Goryu shuttle bus stop is 5 minutes walking. Our family room is perfect for 5 ppl.

If the owner can provide the shuttle to the onsen as it listed on their website will be better.

Very welcoming environment and an overall enjoyable experience. They really try their best with this hotel, and it shows. Lovely location with a shuttle bus to the slopes and a 7/11 a couple minutes away. Would recommend to anyone.

Very comfortable place to stay. Short walk to 7-Eleven. Reasonably close to Echoland. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. Had a ski drying room.

Pleasant stay, warm rooms, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast, big bathroom, close to ski resorts and restaurants.

It is a great hotel, the best all-around hotel experience of my long life, which is why I keep returning.
