You get what you give for the amount you pay for! The value for the price is good. It’s a good hotel and an easy stay. Breakfast was alright too, it wasn’t glamour but, it’s free and there is a family mart across the street if you don’t feel like getting breakfast at the hotel! Good location, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the subway, which was 1 stop to Nagoya Station. Honestly I would stay here again!

It’s a little old, feel like it hasn’t been renovated since the 90’s but I must say that it didn’t affect our stay.

The complimetary breakfast in the morning had a lot of different options and it was refilled often, so even though there were a lot of people, the food wasn't left empty. The hotel was able to hold our luggage before check-in, which was a huge help. The hotel is walking distance to at least 2 train stations, which was very convenient for sightseeing. The rooms were clean, and there were a lot of elevators, which is nice when there are a lot of people checking in and checking out. We didn't have to wait a long time to go to and from our rooms.

They have a complimentary coffee service during the morning breakfast. It would be nice if there was also a little bit of time in the afternoon or at night that we could use the coffee service, but it was not a big problem.

Hotel staff was very kind and accommodating to English speaking foreigners. The hotel staff helped me store my luggage before I came back to check in. Check in seemed to have available really late into the day, I checked in around 7pm or so and the front desk was full of staff. Room was great and staff was definitely the highlight of the hotel.

Check in was pretty late at 4pm but it was okay since the front desk worked pretty late. The location is a bit far from the train station but it was a short 10 minutes if you didn't mind walking a bit. Not much in the neighborhood around the hotel but at least the hotel was very nice.

Positive: very helpful staff; very good breakfast - but very different from what you would expect in western countries (be open minded and enjoy); very clean room; enough space to put large luggage under the bed. Also, when we booked the hotel it was almost full so only a smoking room was available. Surprisingly the smoking room did not smell badly. Negative: a bit far from Nagoya central but ok ;)

The location is excellent, close to Kanayama station which can be accessed with various train lines. Breakfast is simple, healthy and delicious and the staffs on the breakfast hall were always topping the buffet trays as required.

No complaints on anything, it's a good value for money type hotel. Nothing fancy but it saves your pocket by free breakfast!

The bed was a great size. The room was compact but didn't feel stuffy. The staff were all helpful and efficient. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of healthy food. It is generally difficult as a vegetarian in Japan but I managed to find enough things to eat. The shuttle to Kanayama station was appreciated. There is a family mart right across the road.

The bed was a bit hard!

This hotel had everything I was looking for in a hotel for my family...convenientlocation, clean, reasonablypriced. The helpful staff, the free shuttle to the nearby station, the breakfast, and the well-designed rooms were a bonus. We wanted unadi and the driver suggested a delicious unagi place near the train station. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. All the staff was kind. The room and facilities were clean and well-maintained. The shower/sink faucet was a very clever setup. We would stay there again. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Staff were helpful, facilities were clean, and while there were many people, the design and number of breakfast tables and elevators prevented any congestion. The specialty foods such as Aichi rice and tofu were delicious.

The pajamas I selected were missing a button and I was too tired to go downstairs and get another one. The coffee machine was out of milk so I couldn't get a latte.

Amazing location with a shuttle bus to the nearest station. Close to amenities and perfect for us as we were travelling to the Grand Prix in Suzuka. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was included and lots to choose from, lots of helpful bits like toiletries and pyjamas available and vending machines in the lobby.

The car park was full so we had to use local parking but lots available and wasn’t expensive so not really a problem.

Toyoko Inn was a pretty awesome place to stay! The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. They provided a pretty epic breakfast each morning with lots of options! The only thing to be aware of is that the beds are quite hard, so if you need a cushy, soft bed, this might not be the best fit for you.
