Such a magical place to stay! The vibe is super warm and welcoming, and the people working there are seriously the nicest — they went way beyond being just helpful and made everything feel homey and cozy. Everything is really clean and they care about the environment too, which I loved! My bed was soooo comfy, and in the common area (which is super chill) there’s always hot water, tea and coffee available ❤️ The location is crazy convenient for everything, and right next to it there’s a covered market that’s lively, fun and full of all the shops you could possibly need. Totally recommended!!

The staff is incredible. They were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Other guests were nice to talk to and respectful during the night. You can store food in the fridge. They have a washing machine. Clean.

The toilets were not dirty, but had a very strong smell. No soap in the toilets, you have to go to the 2nd floor for sinks with soap. It was not practical because we were on the 4th floor. But really nothing that would prevent me from recommending this place. Staying there was one of the highlights of our trip!

Very clean facilities, well maintained. Amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed with two plug points and even a small alcove to store your belongings on the top bunk. Room is limited to 5 guests so it is very quiet at night and easy to rest without any disturbances. Security is great with different passkey for hostel and room entrance. Location is in Osu area close to many shopping facilities and two subway lines for access around the area. I found it easy for my day trips. But if you are frequently travelling from Nagoya station this location can be a bit awkward as you need to do two transfers. Its not too far however.

-It would be nice if they can provide a handwash or hand sanitiser in the toilets. -Making your own bed is a bit awkward on the top bunk. 😞 -Male and female toilets/showers are not separated.

The staff (Hagi) was very helpful and welcoming, she went through everything that I'd need to know very clearly and her English was superb. Dormitory was clean and quiet and the bed was incredibly comfy. The roof access and view was nice overlooking the city. Great location for travelling around; metro stop was about 8 minutes walk. With loads of shopping and places to eat nearby as well as I think 4 stops from the castle I will certainly stay again. Also, hot water pressure is exceptional in the showers.

How short my stay was - silly me

- Clean room, shower and toilets. - Big space for me to put my luggage. - Each bed is provided with bedlight and socket. - Close to a bus stop if you were to go to Nagoya Station. - Really close to a shopping street (dont remember what it's name). - I arrived around 10am and the door was locked when I arrived to keep my luggage, since the check in is at 3pm. Luckily, there were guests in the living room to help open the door. Perhaps to inform the guests on the passcode if they arrived early.

- The shower rooms are only on one floor and it is mixed gender (of course there is a lock for each of the shower cubicle). A little bit uncomfortable for me, but luckily there were no man when I had to use the shower.

We had a wonderful stay at the Trip and Sleep Hostel. As a family of four, our kids especially loved the bunk beds and enjoyed eating our convenience-store dinner in the communal lounge. The unisex shower rooms were clean and functional—though I was initially unsure, they turned out to be just fine. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hostel offers complimentary coffee and tea, and you can fill your water bottle in the kitchen. To our surprise, despite this being our first hostel experience, it was incredibly quiet, and all the guests were respectful. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from a shopping street with easy access to everything we needed. After a long drive from Kobe, we were greeted warmly by the English-speaking staff. The rooms felt very secure, with double doors and a unique passcode for each guest. Making our own beds was simple, and fresh towels were available for ¥100 each. There’s also a self-service laundry for ¥400 per load, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a great stay in a well-situated and friendly hostel!

Not a huge deal, but one extra pillow would’ve been lovely

I was only here for one night but the property was amazing. They had everything you could need for amenities. If you love food, local bars, and shopping — there is plenty of options within 10 minutes walking distance. The place was very clean and the staff were soooo friendly. They had so much energy and excitement welcoming me in I felt so happy to be there. They also gave great food recommendations. Location is pretty easy to find. There are also parks nearby as well. Wish I could have stayed a day longer.

The people working here are very friendly and helpful. Gave amazing suggestions for food. The system is also flexible which is unusual in Japan lol, they allowed me to store my bag in the hostel for a day even tho I was at a different hostel because I was coming back to this hostel after. Super great location if you’re into the touristy things.

I stayed in the dorms and the ventilation wasn’t great at all. I had to sleep with the privacy curtain open, so no privacy for me. If you turn up the AC, it’s too noisy, if you don’t, it’s too hot. Also, while seemingly clean, I’m pretty sure they don’t wipe down their bed frames with disinfectant as mine was dusty.

Great location, right in the middle of Osu Market and within walking distance to the subway station. The staff are really nice—especially Marie! She’s not only kind but also beautiful. I hope i remember her name correctly! 😊Thanks for the great café recommendation—I loved it! Looking forward to my next vacation with friends, and I’ll definitely stay here again. (Let’s have a drink next time, Marie!) By the way, I lost one piece of my earpods during my stay. If anyone finds it, please let the staff know!

The location was very convenient, as it was close to the subway station. The hostel is where I had the most pleasant conversation with the staff. They speak really good and understandable English. I am also grateful that they accommodated my request regarding the bed. I guess my bed was comfortable and I was too tired that night, I slept like a baby and didn't notice the noise, even though my bed was right next to the door.

It'd be better if men and women had separate showers. Sharing the same space can be awkward for some individuals.
