We loved that they have ways to smoothen out communication despite the language barrier by using a translator app. Their front desk staff members are all very pleasant to talk to and are very helpful. They have a laundry area that you can monitor using the tv screen in your room (though I don't think it works properly). Loved that there are options for breakfast and that there's lots of drink options to choose from. It would have been nice to know the name of the dishes or get a heads up of what will be served especially with the type of sandwiches and the mini dishes.

Not totally a bad thing, but I found it a bit overwhelming to continuously put all my towels outside every morning because a new set will be left by the door. Would be great to just get the staff to replace the towels inside the room. It's quite far from the nearest train station and buses can be tough to figure out even using Google Maps. We also got lost trying to find the hotel for the first time because Google Maps gave us the wrong walking directions.

This is a great location with night life options nearby as well as being close walking distance to subways, shopping, and tourist sites. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. There's a long walkway that I was concerned about from photos online, but it is well-lit and feels very safe. It has a roof, which is nice when it rains. It is also wide enough for wheelchairs and strollers. The rooms are small and affordable, with a firm, comfortable bed and deep bathtub. They use Yamato for luggage forwarding. I dropped off my suitcase two days before my flight and it arrived in time to the airport no problem. I highly recommend this place for safety, comfort, location, and affordability. There is a 7-11, family mart, Starbucks, and McDonald's near the hotel. I mention McDonald's bc it opens at 7am, and it is much better than the ones in the US. There is also a komeda coffee and an ice cream place nearby as well. This location is great for families, but also has many bars nearby. There is a mix of nice dinner places that get busy at night and fast-casual options. I had trouble figuring out the thermostat my first night and thought that the rooms just didnt cool well...but after housekeeping had came and gone, I found that they had adjusted the settings for me and my room was cold. I very much appreciated this. I also initially could not find the light switch for the room. It is a button next to the bed.

You need your card to sit in a slot for the lights and outlets to work. This means nothing can be charging while you are out of the room.

Location is perfect in an interesting area with many restaurants and shops. Room was comfortable, perfect WiFi internet, I also used the network cable. Breakfast is in the quiet lively room with friendly staff. Breakfast is not a buffet, you have 3 choices: steamed vegetables with rice pudding, sandwiches and soup, and a Japanese set of 9 different dishes, plus soup and rice of course. There was a buffet for drinks, cereals and sweets. Everything was very tasty, although for those who don't eat much in the morning, this kind of breakfast could be too much. We stayed for 20 nights and the food never felt boring, there was even slight weekly variation, We liked very much the eco concept of the hotel. They fully clean your room every third day, although they change towels every day. Ventilation is very good, so no bad smells. The airco was rather noisy, but those were very hot days and it was working harder. The light was perfect both in the bathroom and in a room, bright and pleasant, due to the heat outside we kept the curtains closed. Comfortable hard bed, choice of two pillows, a harder and a softer ones. A very spacious bathtub, rarely seen in Japanese hotels.

I really liked the location, it’s walking distance to many restaurants and the children’s museum, which was my kids’ favorite spot during the whole trip. It even has Ichibana downstairs, and it was soooo good!

It’s really small with almost no walking space, but I expected that since we’re in Japan. The reason I took a point off is because some corners and the area under the bed weren’t cleaned well. Aside from that, the bedsheets and everything else were super comfortable and clean

The staff was very kind. My Japanese is very poor but they spoke some English which really helped. The room was small but the perfect size for a solo traveler. The bathroom had a nice sized tub. The bed was one of the best beds I've slept on in a hotel with very comfy pillows. There's also provided amenities in the lobby including skincare, toothbrushes, combs, and more. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and I was very impressed with the quality. Despite being in a busy area there wasn't very much noise from outside at all.

The rooms could use a new coat of paint and some slight updating. The air unit could do with a bit of a clean. But nothing was terrible, only something you would notice if you're looking for it.

Great location. Clean, comfortable and well laid out room. Surprisingly quiet. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast option(extra) with many little, mostly-Japanese, dishes in a cute display. A bit pricy compared to other options but convenient for our long commute day and a nice treat (must order in advance from reception, set times for seating). Lots of other food options nearby as well. Overall highly recommended.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Basic amenities that fulfilled all of my needs. I had some special requests upon booking and they were all met. Room was cleaned at every three days and towels were changed daily. I loved the PJs. It was hard to let them behind...

nothing at all. My stay was just perfect. I have no complaints.

i liked the location was in center, but was fine. we were on the 13rth floor and we did not hear noises only from the construction building next door. I did not like the room at all (next question) breakfast was very nice. and since we stayed 17 nights we complained about having same japanese collection and we were offered and varity of diffrent things for breakfast. We appreciate.

We stayed 17 nights and we were put on higest floor (as per our wish). the room too small for 2 persons. The bed was situated that one partner has to jump and desturbe the other when going out or in the bed. I expected to give us bigger room and i do not know, but they were so polite at reception that we did not dare to complain. They did not deserve to complain.... We lost here but at end we think it was good stay

The staff were kind and accommodating. The location was also convenient, walking distance to Sakae and have convenient stores nearby (7-Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart).

The double room was quite small for 1 adult and 2 kids. The bed looked big in the picture but in actual it's cramped for 3 people but nonetheless it's worth the money we paid.

Nice hotel, small rooms but with everything needed for comfortable stay. Refrigerator, tv, bathroom, tiny desk. The neighborhood is perfect - just in the middle of izakayas district and close to Osu shopping area. The main train station is 30 min walk, subway is a few streets away.
