The location was right across from the station! The room was very neat and clean, and was quite spacious for a single traveler. I also enjoyed the view from the window, and the atmosphere of the hotel was sophisticated. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful with going over the check-in procedure and information! English seemed good according to my friend, who checked in with another representative! I used Japanese after they confirmed I could understand them, which was also very nice! The elevators are regulated based on keycard access as well, which is very safe for lone travelers.

The construction at the station was a bit difficult to navigate through based on Google Maps and the location of the hotel! This is no fault of the hotel, though! The hotel also has an onsen available to patrons, but I was unable to use it due to tattoo rules! This was very unfortunate, and I wish that hotels were a bit more lenient about this because of all the foreign travelers.

The location is fantastic! Situated just opposite Niigata Station, it makes getting around incredibly convenient. The neighborhood is lively, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, offering lots of dining and shopping options. The room itself is a highlight—it looks new, well-maintained, and clean, which made for a pleasant stay.

The bathroom, unfortunately, feels like it hasn’t been updated in years. The outdated design was a stark contrast to the modern room. Only two pillows were provided, which felt insufficient for a comfortable night’s rest. Additional pillows would have been appreciated.

Hotel provided fantastic value for its price point. The hotel came with an indoor onsen, sauna and free massage chair, with a dedicated lift for hotel guests to access the amenities. Hotel was also located within a 5 mins walk to the nearest station. Staff was able to converse well in English and also allowed for luggage storage before check in time. Got the twin room, which also came with a tub. Otherwise, the room size is about what you will expect. Not spacious, but enough to move around without feeling cramped. Overall, great value for money!

The location was so convenient 3-5 minute walk to Niigata station. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from Japanese to Western. The hotel also had an onsen for their guests in the basement which was open around 3pm - 10am the next day with 3 different pools and 1 sauna room. Would definitely stay again!

I wish they had mentioned that I have to cover my tattoos in the onsen during check in so that I can prepare in advance.

Great location. Across the street from the train station and around the corner from a number of streets filled with shops and eateries. Room was quiet despite the construction going on in front of the train station. I used the onsite onsen for morning soaks, which was a good way to relieve aches and oains

The tub in the bathroom was absurdly small. Also wish they provided moisturizer like the Daiwa Roynet does.

English speaking staff (short-hair) at the reception was very accomodating and helpful. She went beyond my expectation in searching for a strawberry farm for us. Very much appreciated.

There was a problem with my key card, i later approached reception desk to change/udate the key card. Still the problem existed without being fixed when i tried to open my room. I then rang reception again to bring an updated key to me upstairs since it was inconvenient for me to revisit them downstairs for the second time. The staff acknowledged but no one came until I called them again after 15mins of waiting. In front of my room. I was wondering, they might have kept me waiting all night if i didnt call them for the second time.

Location is right in front of the station with lots of restaurants close by. I like the in-hotel sento and relaxation room. Breakfast was also very good.

Parking is a little bit difficult. There is a hotel parking lot but they lock the car away so it is not possible to take out freely. There is also a municipal parking lot nearby, but again, to get the low rate, you need to leave your car there and not put it in and out.

Very clean and modern. Nice traditional Japanese onsen separated by gender with some massage chairs. Hotel next to the station, very accessible. Room very well insulated from sound. Laundry for 300 washing and 200 drying (30min).

The bathrooms are the only thing left not renovated, but are very clean and functional. Dryers work well, but need at least 2 times 30 min for a better drying.

The hotel is very conveniently located just across a plaza from the train station, with an inviting entrance and lobby. At a very short walking distance, one can find many convenience stores and a wide variety of restaurants. The whole hotel was impeccably clean and well maintained. The rooms are not large but well equipped with a refrigerator, a round table and a bench where one can both relax or work. I appreciated that there was a LAN cable besides WiFi, and I used the water cooker and refrigerator a lot. The Japanese breakfast was good but not too exciting; western guests not accustomed to Japanese food will, however, not find too much choice. The staff very friendly and helpful and had an above average command of English compared to other Japanese hotels.

No complaints, really :-) Some of my colleagues found the mattresses rather hard. Opening a large suitcase is not completely straightforward if one does not like to place it on the table, but the problem can be handled.

Spacious onsen bath in basement. You must be comfortable with communal bathing in the nude though. The loungewear provided was comfortable to wear and to the bath.

Self service ice machine on the 11th floor was broken; had to go to the one on the 5th. Bit of a hassle going first from my room to elevator to 11th floor, then back to elevator to the 5th, walking to the ice machine, then elevator back to my room.
