I was extremely satisfied with my stay here! The staff checking me in were very personable and provided local recommendations. I also needed to catch the jetfoil in the morning, and they gave advice on when to leave and even helped us reserve a taxi for the morning. The room itself was spacious with a big window and had deluxe amenities upon request (via their sleep menu, we requested a humidifier, room aroma, and a firm pillow). The breakfast buffet was another highlight for me, as they offered three different types of Niigata specialty rice to try and a broad range of many healthy and delicious options. Overall, I wish all of my hotel experiences could be as satisfying as this one.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. When we were checking out, we needed a cart to help take all our luggage down so I called front desk and they sent over a staff with a cart immediately who loaded all our luggage for us and put them in my car. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were nice with a touch of Japanese essence. We ate dinner at the buffet on the first floor which was also excellent. It's great to have facilities inside the hotel especially on cold Niigata days. If I stay again, I would use their gym facilities which looked well equipped.

Nothing bad to say.

The breakfast was good with wide selection spanning both Japanese and western. Parking was free for IHG member which was a pleasant surprise, and the parking lot was very convenient to access (although a bit confusing at first entry because of the one-way streets). The staff was very friendly and offered to help without needing to be asked, and can communicate adequately in English.

I wish the Japanese selection at breakfast was more, and the curry could be with other meat or vegetarian as I don't take beef. The corner at the Japanese line was a bit small and gets really crowded.

The hotel was very handy to all that Niigata has to offer. It's a short walk to the train station and a lot of the most popular sites, and also isn't too far from the river and the Sado Island ferry terminal. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. Numerous great restaurants, including a lovely bar on the top floor with great views of the city.

The hotel is showing its age a little bit in places. It doesn't have a swimming pool, which would have been nice.

The hotel provides eye masks, bath salts and even a fabric spray! Very impressed with the attention to small details which make the stay more pleasant. I also like that the housekeeping doesn't move your things around when making up the room. Good location near the train station, shopping area and the ferry terminal so walkable everywhere!

The room is a bit small with one side of the bed pushed against the wall.

The staff in this hotel provide wonderful gracious Japanese hospitality and extend themselves to help beyond expectations. The hotel public areas and rooms are spotlessly clean. The rooms are a very generous size. The variety of options for breakfast is outstanding. Excellent value.

The hotel was initially difficult to find on foot however only on first arrival. After that I was fine walking to & from the hotel multiple times each day.

Great location close by the train station for access, and centrally located within walking distance of many local attractions and places to visit👍 Well worth spending a bit more for a room with a river view too !

This is our 6th stay at this property, and we are always impressed with the staff, the breakfast, and the renovated rooms are fantastic. Great for a business stay.

Need a luggage stand.

The rooms were a good size by Japanese standards, location was brilliant close to mall, staff were incredibly helpful and buffet breakfast was varied for both western and Asian tastes. We would stay again 😀

It was a little tired and probably needs a new lease of life

This is a very convenient location for those coming and going by train. Well located to walk to most of the inner city locations near the station. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast service and options were exceptional.
