The apartment is spacious, great for a big group and well equipped for cooking. There are two different areas with big tables, so it was easy to have a table for games and relaxation and a table for eating and drinking. The place also provided some games for families. The place, towels and sheets were spotless. The onsen was very hot and super nice, we did not use the sauna. There is a train station nearby, and some vending machines on the premises, plus some freebies to drink in the refrigerator. We spent much of the time exploring Nikko and came back at the end of the day and we all felt super comfortable. The type of apartment that we had did not have a room with doors, the beds were in the loft and the tatami downstairs had extra space for more people. If you want more privacy, I recommend maybe looking at another type of apartment that has a separate room. We were 6 of us, family and friends, and even though it echoed in the loft, we did not have an issue. We had a car, so it was easy to get in and out, but if you are depending on public transportation you will have to plan your meals and shopping. There is not a lot around the condominium. The area is quiet, with some other hotels and onsens walking distance.

You have to check in everyone on your group, which takes time and some of the people had trouble with the photo app, that took time and they had to contact the host to call back several times. It took time out from the enterteniment and fun, so if you are able to check in beforehand, do it. My group was coming from different areas, and I did not have their passports and photos to do the check in ahead of time.

Incredible. Everything is AMAZING. In my villa type, there was a huge bath, a private bath deck to cool off on, a sauna, and a massage chair. It was all enjoyable and extremely high quality. The floors in the living room could be heated and there was A/C in every room. They even included 5-7 free drinks in the fridge! The appliances in the kitchen were all so high quality, including a microwave/oven/grill, rice cooker, nespresso pod brewer (coffee and decaf provided), and dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer combo as well (drying does take <4 hours). There are some food options available in the vending machine area, like instant curry and rice. 7 minute walk to station, 5 minute walk to supermarket. This place was SO thoughtfully designed. 100%, I’ve never been in a nicer accommodation. I even got it for a great price in January (54,000円 for two nights, number of guests didn’t raise the price). I’d stay again. And again!

The check in process is definitely tricky! PLEASE enter your guest info BEFORE you get there. They will send you an email ahead of time that will let you do this. Otherwise, you must type in every guest’s info on a tablet and the keyboard is sooooo hard to use. After that, it video calls a call center agent to verify your info, so you can’t take any shortcuts!

It was a beautiful stay for me and my family. We loved house totally! There was also a huge dining area which allowed us to pack dinner and have it in the comfort of the home. Theres lots of room on both floors and the showers was nice and spacious. The sauna was also really enjoyable.

Our bath and hot spring was not as hot as I would like it. Temperatures are at about 40 deg. As it was cold, the natural hot spring was barely warm.

The house was beautiful and very spacious. Everything was very clean with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We had plenty of towels and they also offered toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals plus more. The beds were comfortable with great linens. The highlight of the house was the sauna, hot spring bath, balcony/porch, and massage chair. These areas were perfect and great for a relaxing getaway or after a long day out.

Very minor but turning into the parking area was a little difficult. Overall, a perfect property.

Very nice apartment layout . All amenities as described and kept in very good condition . Nice and quiet location and close to a supermarket. Great for family and a break from hotels .

Overly complicated check in for us. Online forms asked for passport information but they wanted a photo of us to verify who we were at checkout. Would have been easier to just do that on the tablet for the latter. They were not kidding when they said to do their check-in in advance but all sorted in the end.

Spotlessly clean with great facilities in the villa including a steam room and onsen tub . Very spacious for our family of 5 , and having two bathrooms with toilets was wonderful . Close to most attractions especially if you have a car . Easily our best stay along our 1 month road trip in Japan

The house is very modern with every amenities thought possible and more for a short stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and the onsen was incredible. Location is easy access for someone with a car.

Nothing at all! If it came with basics like salt, pepper oil, then it would have made it even better.

The beautiful wood, the onsen bath and the view to the trees. It was beautiful and spacious! Loved having two toilets and two showers too! Had all the amenities to make it a wonderful stay and wish we were tn stay longer! Would LOVE to return again and stay in Autumn!

Check in- out is quite convenient if you pre-checkin. The hotel is beautiful and very clean with handy-amenities.

The parking lot is clearly marked with the room number, however some people just don’t park the car at the right spot and instead park at our room space. So, we need to find other space which is quite far.

It was a very comfortable stay and we enjoyed the space, the onsen, sauna and massage chair. Leaving a few drinks for the guests was a nice touch too.
