Dormy Inn was a pleasant place to stay for a few nights. A typical hotel stay if you will. Rooms are quite large, comparing to Tokyo anyway they're almost double in size. They're comfortable enough aside from the pillows being quite firm. Hotel facilities have breakfast though we didn't use so unsure what it is like. They do have sauna and bath faculties, however having tattoos we were unable to use them which is common in Japan. The staff member was super friendly at check-in though trying to suggest going late at night (after 12am, the place is open throughout the night) where might not be as busy so could get away with it. Didn't want to take the risk or have to go that late so skipped on it. Around a 5min walk to nearest metro station, was handy to get around. Loads of cafes and restaurants, convenience stores around also.
Only thing in the room that was irritating beyond anything was the auto sensor light near the door. There's no way to turn this off and if you're moving about or what not it constantly goes on, turns off after 30seconds. Most annoying was if you had to use the bathroom at night, it comes on and lightens up the whole room. Something that needs to be changed. Missing somewhere to hang up your towel after use as well.

Onsen, freebies, buffet breakfast. Room was decent size.
Pillows too hard and not enough.

The room is quite clean as always for Dormy chain. The staff is very nice and helpful. Location is good, near subway station, and with several restaurants nearby. Supermarket is just across the road, open till 11pm, and also convenient stores nearby.
I often stay at Dormy inn, and have been to many branches around Japan for like 10+ years. Normally things would be perfect that I give 10 points. The reasons for 8 points this time are: 1. A bit small onsen is not a big problem as I am familiar. But the ventilation for this branch is not good, making me feel stuffy and not comfortable, compared to other branches. And the air-con didn't seem to work. 2. I can see that room has been cleaned well, as always for Dormy inn. But probably the room starts to get a bit old and carpet feels a bit dusty (but still clean imo, just not as good as other branches) I personally like wooden floor as it is always cleaner than carpet, no matter how well it is cleaned, and I know other other guests may wear shoes in the room.

Location - Situated conveniently near key attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. - **Onsen**: A relaxing onsen that offers a traditional and rejuvenating Japanese hot spring experience. - **Breakfast**: A delicious and varied breakfast spread that caters to different tastes and dietary preferences, starting your day off right. - **Staff**: Friendly and attentive staff who provide excellent service and make you feel welcome. P.S. Free ice cream and ramen are great surprises
**Pajamas and slippers**: Need to be available in larger sizes to ensure comfort. - **Pillow quality**: Could be improved for a better night's sleep.

Breakfast was really good with freshly made okonomiyaki and soba noodles and a wide selection of other food. I liked the soda dispense. The onsen was very nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The free evening noodles was a nice plus as well. I've stayed at Dormy Inn hotels before and this lived up to my expectations.
Room was a bit chilly and I had to turn up the air conditioner a lot to get it heated. Pillows were too hard for my taste. The area that the hotel was located in was not very exiting, but at least it was close to a couple of stations.

This is a very nice hotel, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The room includes so many items, for guests comfort as well as for personal hygiene (toothbrushes, combs, razors, cotton swabs, clothes for the hot spring communal bath, slippers, ...). Room rate is very reasonable for the quality of the services the hotel offers. The communal bath is excellent (with hot spring pools and one cold water pool) and has a changing room with lockers, and all little details similar to the ones we find in the room.Very close to subway station and to Osaka Castle. The area of the hotel has many restaurants and excellent pastry/bakery shops. I will stay here again if I come back to Osaka.

Located at a cozy district with numerous choices of foods, densely surrounded by convenient stores and pharmacies, the metro is within 5 minutes’ walking and the castle is within 15 mins: excellent location for any type of tourists. The service is professional, and the extraordinary diversity of free stuffs is beyond expectation. They provide hot spring, sauna, free ice pop, yogurt and night ramen, making the time spent inside hotel quite satisfying.
The hotel stands literally next to the fire station, so there will occasionally be some alarm whistles during the night. I guess this is a potential reason why the hotel has a too friendly price consistent its overall quality. Anyway, though aware of the whistle, it didn’t last long, I still slept very well.

I love the Dormy Inn chain for all the little perks and Onsen amenities. (i.e. Laundry inside the hotel, free ice cream after onsen bathing, late night ramen, etc). The rooms are a standard size for Japan, but my husband and I are relatively normal size so we didn't feel any discomfort. I do have tattoos though, and the onsen facilities have signs that say no tattoos are allowed, but the hotel staff were very accomodating that as long as my tattoos could be covered by the bandage sticker (approx 8cm x 13cm) they carry, then I was allowed to use the onsen. I think I used the onsen every day without any issues, just follow the rules posted and was able to relax in the bath. It was a huge relief to my aching legs and feet each day. We stayed a total of 5 nights. I always recommend dormy to everyone I can, i always try to book it each time I'm in Japan, in whichever major city that has a location.
No complaints at all.

The onsen, Japanese-style buffet breakfast and late night complementary ramen was the best part of staying at this hotel. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the Osaka Castle and Park. There is a train station within walking distance but we never used it. We just took a taxi to the Shin-Osaka station and walked around that area which had lots of department stores. We also took taxi to Dotombori area to sample the food and had a massage.
The hotel room was small but standard for a Japanese hotel. We were in a tatami mat room that had two single beds which we pushed together to make one large bed. It made it much more larger and comfortable than a full size bed. But there was a lot of dust under the bed that was moved.

Decently sized room, good amenities and big onsen. Onsen was complete with indoor and outdoor bath, one small bath, a cold plunge and a sauna. There were also free probiotic drinks, popsicles, and noodles being offered by the hotel.
I wish the vending machines took IC card. The nearby train line also almost requires a transfer to some other locations around the city, but not a big issue.
