Great Location & good amenities for family . Highly recommended for family!

Location is great, there's a supermarket nearby and food options like McDonald's, Burger King and convenience stores. Note this hotel doesn't clean your room during your stay. You can however ask for towels for free at reception as well as toilet paper, tissues, night wear. Staff all speak English well and were very friendly and polite. Also liked there was a laundry room with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. Internet works well. There's also a charger provided in the room for all connections iPhone, USB type C, micro USB.

The hotel was near a fire station so often could hear the sirens go off. Reception open 8am to 10pm, so if you come back after 10pm, you can't get new towels. Just need to plan ahead.

--Location is pretty good, about 5 minutes walk from the nearst subway station, 10 minutes walk to the famous Osaka castle, 35 minutes walk to 天斋桥 major shopping area --spacious room, since the hotel room must be converted from apartment, it is actually a one bedroom apartment, with kitchen and hallways, and separate eating area near kitchen. --Price is very affordable comparing with other hotels with the same size of room

--it's not a 24*7 hotel, people should pay more attention to this, especially if you arrive later than 12am, you probably can not check-in, we changed the flight from Tokyo to Osaka, the flight is almost delayed, we were a bit nervous if we could make it on time before 12 am. --The building and facility are kind of old, no centralized AC, so you feel the heat right away when you open the door of your room, since each floor is open to and not sealed, even AC in elevator is not strong enough. --internet signal very weak, but the hotel staff fixed it by providing another wifi hotspot for that room So if you can arrive before 10pm, and if the weather is ok during your travel, this hotel is perfect for your budget with really spacious room.

Great location. Close to Tanimachi station. There is a Boulangerie & Cafe Gout i would highly recommend for breakfast. Hotel itself is a little aged. The room we had must had been an apartment before, and rooms were section off with sliding doors. There is a washer. But i would advice you to take your cloths down to the laundry room to dry them. There are kitchen essential so you can cook at site. Good size French style fridge with freezer We were totally surprised as there was a rice cooker! So just like the pictures, the room is separated into bedrooms, living/dining room, and bathroom There is also a market nearby and they have great bentos!

This was a fantastic accommodation which is very well situated in Osaka. The location is only 5 minutes (max) from the train station. From the very start, the staff at the reception were extremely courteous, polite and made the check-in process very smooth for us. Next, the rooms - which were decent in size. Japan generally has small rooms in most of the hotels but the size here was appropriate and everyone in our group loved the view from their room. We had no issues at all and found the rooms to be extremely clean and well-equipped with all the useful essentials (minus the iron - which I may have missed locating). Overall - a fantastic accomodation which is worth going for. I'd rate it a solid 10.

Nothing at all. This place was great.

Clean and really spacious room, small kitchen including e.g. microwave, fridge and cutlery. The location is absolutely top-notch, a few blocks from Osaka Castle and convenient subway connections from Shin-Osaka and Namba stations (from our perspective the most important train stations, e.g. for the Shinkansen and airport train). Friendly and flexible staff, e.g. regarding cleaning and changing towels. Considering the central location near busy streets, we were positively surprised by the peace and silence.

Nothing major to complain about. 😊 Small improvements could include, for example, more hangers for towels and a little more storage space for clothes and other things.

Great location close to metro; smallish supermarket around the corner, much larger one about 1.5 kms; comfortable beds; very good size (for Japan); good gas stove and small kitchen, microwave; washing machine; functional shower and tub; shampoo and body wash provided. Great French baker a block away, which is great because it’s very hard to get good bread in Japan; terrific local coffee shop (SOT Coffee)

Kitchen crockery and utensils are minimal! 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 forks, 2 spoons, forks and knives. No cooking knives, no bread knife. Very hard to eat takeaway food let alone prepare a simple meal. One pot and one frypan, which had to be replaced it was in such poor condition. No washing line but there’s plenty of space for an outside line. (I went and bought some string and set one up). Pillows very uncomfortable but beds are good.

Large room, great comfortable bed, amazing location. The room was very good for 2 people, the kitchen had everything we needed and everything wad almost perfect with the room. Additionally, very central location 5 minutes from the tanimachi-4-chome subway station.

The door arches were too low, and we kept banging our heads every time we passed through them. Also, the hotel's staff leaves a lot to be desired. One staff member was extremely passive aggressive and made us feel a little uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great.

There's a small kitchen inside the room, which is really convenient as my mom is a senior and loves to eat homemade food rather than the local food. The location is good, 1.6km from Osaka castle. And all the Japanese hotels I satyed in are clean.

The facilities inside the bathroom is quite old technology, which is rather hard for my mom to set up the suitable level of warm water, but it doesn't matter to me :D And I don't know how to rent a bike in Osaka, it seems harder than in Kyoto and the Wifi here inside the room is weak, which can be improved

Location wise is good a walking distance to Osaka Castle and train station...Nearby is the Terang bulan Indonesian Halal restaurant where the food are super delicious. Hotel staff are nice and ready with a smile and they are helpful too.. The room are huge and they also provide cooking utensils.. Thank You Hotel mystay Otemae for the pleasant stay..

The pillow is thin and hard. Most of the Tv channel is in japanese and movies are limited luckily I bring along my tablet so that I can watch Netflix and Mptv while in Osaka and Kyoto.
