Booked this hotel because of its close proximity to Osaka castle. It is surrounded by dining options. A little far from subway station but it’s no issue for my family as we tend to take taxi a bit in Osaka. It’s about 2500 yen from Shimsaibashi or Osaka station.

Perhaps the 10am check out time and away from subway station. But it’s non issue in the end since we left at 9:30am and took taxis most of the time in Osaka.

My stay at the Luxcare Hotel in Osaka was genuinely memorable, and I left feeling well-rested and cared for. What stood out most to me was the peaceful atmosphere and the hotel’s thoughtful attention to both comfort and detail. The room was incredibly clean, spacious, and far more comfortable than most standard city hotels. The bed was high-quality, with a Sealy mattress and soft duvet that made for some of the best sleep I had during my trip. I also really appreciated the layout of the room—there was a separate toilet and bathroom, a humidifier, and even an air purifier, which was a welcome touch in the summer heat. The location was excellent—just a short walk to Osaka Castle and close to subway lines, making it easy to get around the city. It’s also near several major hospitals, which explains why the hotel is designed with accessibility and medical care in mind. While I didn’t need any special services, I found it admirable how the hotel accommodates guests with medical needs, offering features like electric beds and barrier-free bathrooms. Another highlight was the friendly and professional staff. They were helpful throughout my stay, spoke enough English to assist with questions, and maintained a calm, welcoming presence. Small touches like free bottled water, lobby coffee, and onsite laundry added real convenience. Overall, Luxcare lives up to its name—it offers both luxury and sincere care. I would stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Osaka.

We used a taxi to travel to the hotel from the main train station in Osaka and the Shinkansen. Good location. Just a few minutes walk to Osaka Castle. If we needed a cab we walked to the parking area in front of Osaka Castle as there were always cabs available. The room was fine and had everything we needed. Good breakfast, using vouchers provided by the hotel, in a cafe a few doors up the road. No option for dinner but easy to find dinner venues around the area.

Our room faced the main road so we heard the traffic. We had expected breakfast to be onsite, as that was how the details read when we made our booking. It turned out that was no longer on offer although breakfast was provided, we just had to cross the side road and walk a couple doors up to a local cafe. The breakfast was very nice. Friendly staff and cafe was good, used by locals as well. No issue but just be aware of this if booking this hotel.

The twin room we booked was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom could have been accessed also by wheelchair users, which I found very progressive and well designed. The hotel does not offer breakfast in the hotel itself, but they have made an excellent arrangement with a cafè nearby, which offers superb coffee(s) -- you can choose among many different types -- and several types of breakfasts. I think that this was a very smart move from the hotel management, to pair with a nearby cafè for their guests. The location of the hotel is also very convenient to visit the castle and park, which are really close by foot. The hotel staff was very friendly.

To enter the room there was no actual key, nor a card, but only a code which was activated via a monitor on the door. It worked well, however I was feeling a bit "uneasy" not to have a mechanical way to open or close the door...was wondering, what would happen in case of a black out or fire alarm. I guess that this was also the reason why our room was accessing a balcony with fire-escape stairs outside...There must be also some other good solution behind this key-less choice, but I would rather prefer to be able to exit a door in the old-fashioned way, by using a handle or similar. Our window/balcony-view was rather "sad", just looking at the walls of the next building, but we did not care too much for the short stay.

Hotel was excellent. The room had a good size (we were expecting it to be very small). We had a table and two chairs, which was very convenient for our own little breakfast. The free coffee is the lobby was a great addition. We liked the fact that we could opt to have the room serviced or instead having clean towels brought to us. Room was also very quiet and had an air purifier (which we did not use at the end...). Close to Osaka castle, and very convinient for taking public transport. One great addition was that because our long flight landed before lunchtime, we were alllowed to do an early checkin (2 hours before checkin time) and paid a small fee for that.

There is a small fee to pay if you want to leave your luggage in the reception. It is cheaper than leaving it in the locker at the train station though.

The hotel is located in a great spot. Minutes walking form Osaka Castle. 40 min to1 hr (Aprox) walking distance to Dotonbori. There are convenient stores (Seven - Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson) and plenty of restaurants in the area. Hotel is very close to the subway station that communicates to Osaka station, less than 4 minutes away. Room was spacious and well equipped. The mattress was very comfortable, had a great sleep. The guys form the reception were very helpful and polite. We booked a room with breakfast included. You have two options, either a surprise bento box or a ticket to go to a next door cafeteria. I personally recommend the cafeteria option. bento box has plenty of food but quite heavy for breakfast.

Tv did not have many options.

good location, short walk to 2 subway. the bed is adjustable and comfortable (my daughter keeps asking where is the control for her bed), it gives u an option to choose the service u needs, e.g. extend the checkout time, offer luggage storage for a small fee, staff is nice to explain and set expectation, and helped us to call for a taxi. it does offer spa services, which we did not manage to take advantage.

we need to request for room cleaning or leave dirty towel out (for towel replacement) by 10am every day, which is hard for us owls. there is no place to hang towels, which is not that convenient.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the front desk staff and the supervisor/manager on duty for their exceptional assistance with my baggage transfer from Luxcare to Kansai. Navigating websites that aren't always English-friendly can be quite challenging, and even with Google Translate, the terms and conditions can become confusing. Their help truly made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch their names, but if any of them happen to read this, I was the guest with the black hard case guitar. I had a wonderful short stay in Osaka with my family, and am eagerly looking forward to staying at this hotel again during my next visit. 😊 For those who rent a car, there are 2 public carparks just 1-2mins walk from this hotel. On top of that, you can wash and dry your clothes with the coin-operated laundry services!

It would be the exterior look of this hotel. It looks underwhelming on the outside, but it is much better inside. The rooms were bigger than the one I stayed in Tokyo, water heats up fast for a quick shower, and you can top-up water at the drinks station located on level 2.

Spotless room, small but comfortable with decent hot water and stand in shower. Secure keyless entry and exit. Limited staff, but obliging and with excellent English. Good coffee/breakfast/lunch place only 50 metres away, and plenty of restaurants, although booking essential when so many tourists are about enjoying the cherry blossom season. No airport shuttle, so expect to pay AUD$80-90 for 40 min taxi ride to Osaka Itami airport. (Worth paying unless you have mastered local train lines + luggage!) Proximity to Osaka Castle and nearby metro stations was a plus.

2nd visit to hotel, about 5 min walk to nearest station exit/entrance, about 10min walk to Osaka Castle park, about 20min walk to Osaka-Jo Hall if you wish to visit there like I did for concert. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, great shower, some room if you have back pack and one suitcase, and fresh set of night pjs and water they leave by your door every night.

Depending on the room views are not the best, but was there mainly for location and comfortable stay will book again if visiting Osaka
