My partner and I simply love hotel Noum - it was our second time after we'd already stayed there last year. And coming back really felt like coming back home ❤️ The strongest point that always draws us back is the staff. The team is extremely warm, friendly and speaks really good English. They can give you tips about what to do in Osaka and around. The rooms are very clean and full room cleanings can be ordered whenever necessary. The hotel offers an intercontinental à la carte breakfast in the hotel's own bar/restaurant area. Location-wise, Hotel Noum is in walking distance to several train stations and can be reached easily by public transport. All in all, I can only say that we are already planning our next trip to Japan and will certainly spend it al Hotel Noum again!

When I booked a room with a shared bathroom I wasn't expecting for the bathroom to be very good, but it was incredibly nice. There are also sinks in the rooms, minimizing the need to use the shared bathroom. Breakfast also exceeded expectations—I tried five out of the seven options on the menu and they were all really delicious. I am honestly shocked that they were included in the already extremely reasonable price. The beds were also super comfortable and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

There were only a couple of things I would change. The location is pretty far from tourist areas and not super close to a metro station (about a 7 minute walk, not terrible). It's a bit hard to get to from the airport—I would recommend not transferring trains because the stations often don't have escalators for luggage. A taxi from Tennoji station works better. And then I struggled with keeping my room from getting too warm, but that might just be because I couldn't figure out the thermostat.

The staff were absolutely amazing! The check in process was super easy, the staff gave me a thorough run through of everything the hotel had to offer. I used a luggage forwarding service from my hotel in Tokyo and by the time I got to this hotel - the staff had already put my luggage in my room for me! Incredible. The view from my room was incredible!! I had a full view of the river side, seeing all the lights of the city and the water foundation show at night was amazing.

The location is something to consider, its about a 15-25min journey to go into the heart of Osaka. It is a lovely and quiet area, so after travelling and site seeing all day it was lovely to come back to a quiet area, next to the river. The room had some signs of general wear and tear (a few chips out of the all & wash basin) however the room was still incredibly clean and spacious.

Extremely clean and comfy and the staff are all amazing (all speak English). There’s a 5-7 min walk to the nearest metro station but I enjoyed the fact that the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. Also highly recommend getting their breakfast I stayed for 3 nights and ordered a different breakfast each day and they were all delicious! The hotel also holds different activities throughout the month and I attended the tea ceremony which I thought was a very memorable part of my trip!

Like most hotels in Japan, the room is a little small if you have luggage that opens in the middle.

The staff were SO kind and helpful. The accommodation was so thoughtfully furnished, warm, clean, comfortable. The cafe underneath was fantastic for breakfast and coffees. Accommodation was very easy to get to via train. We loved it there so much and have recommended it to family and friends. Would definitely stay again!

I booked Noum again for 4 nights because it is so great. The staff are so helpful and really lovely. Excellent breakfast (I had the big breakfast one morning and the salmon on the other three), Decius coffee and cake, centrally located with a short walk to Temmabashi Station and local restaurants and coffee shops if you don’t want to go far, rooms are a good size and the mattress is fantastic, solid amenities on Level 5 (washer/dryer/microwave/filtered water/fridge). My room was on the second floor with shared bathroom and shower facilities. Always clean, great products.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like.

Lovely, stylish hotel on river near Osaka Castle. Really comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Served great coffee in the bar/ cafe area in foyer and great breakfast choice. Stayed in twin bunk room which had plenty of space including sofa area (rare find based on previous hotels) and shared bathroom facilities which were excellent and spotless - always toilets and showers to use. In a quieter location which suited us but only short walk and tube ride from the main centre and Dotonburi area. Great coffee shops and bagel store nearby as well as restaurants. Cant recommend this hotel highly enough, superb and great value.

Nothing to dislike - you wont go wrong!

The breakfast was great (even though I had to provide a time when I would come in). The vibe is Nordic + japan mix with fresh interior. Location was ok if you don't mind a 8-10min walk to most public transport.

The pillow (just one) was really bad. If you prefer a soft mattress you might find the bed a but hard, but it wasn't too bad. Again no cleaning services unless requested (which I don't mind), with a system of getting new towels by hanging the old ones in a bag. Be mindful that as most Japanese hotels there isn't super much space for luggage.

I loved the location and proximity to the river, made for really nice walks in the morning or evenings when I go back to the hotel. The coffee on the ground floor was also good. The staff were all really friendly and lovely, super helpful and attentive. When another guest arrived too early for check-in and asked to wait at one of the cafe tables, they served them water while they waited. The hotel was really nicely designed, too. While the rooms were small, they were very comfortable and cosy. For such a small room and space the hotel has, the bathrooms were actually very large in comparison, and larger than some 4 or 5-star hotels I've stayed at in Japan (baths are overrated, I appreciated the functional and no-fuss shower a lot). The toiletries also felt very luxurious! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The amenities (washer / dryer) but also cold / hot water, were all on 1 floor. I did wish I had a kettle in the room, but understand due to the room size it might have become too cluttered.

I loved staying here and can recommend it to everyone! The room is very comfortable and cozy. Even the mattress was amazing to sleep on. I had a room with a shared bathroom concept and was surprised how clean and easy it was to use. To top it off the rooftop has an amazing view and terrace to do yoga on or just hang out (Yoga Mat available at the hotel). The staff was very nice and helpful, also almost everyone spoke English very well! The 5th floor has a room with laundry, fridge, microwave, water dispenser and lots of other things that makes your stay easier.
