Very close to metro in a very quiet and clean district. Onsen and free ramen every evening are a plus. There is a good variety of Japanese dish for breakfast but quite limited choice for western breakfast.

Breakfast time is very early 6.30-9.30 AM which may be too early for those who travel from far and still adapt to the time zone

Small but functional room. Very comfortable bed, and many pillows. They provided pyjamas. Tea and coffee were also freely available. Evening noodle service and ice cream bars were super nice. There is a metro just on the corner.

We couldn't use the bath because of our tattoos. I respect to the rule but other hotels provided kind of concealer as a solution, to give the people opportunity to use their service.

Onsen with sauna and cold bath. Washing machine is located in the onsen changing room and it's also free of charge. Only have to pay ¥100 per 30 minutes for the dryer. They provide free ramen from 21:30 to 23:00 and have a good amount of free drinks.

the onsen was amazing and got to experience it all by myself around 3-4pm! the staff are soo friendly and try to help you as much as possible. the free ramen/soba was delicious and the room was quite spacious compared to the room we have in tokyo. just put your rubbish and used towels outside your door after 10am and they will clean it up for you! new towels hung on the door every day too.

the beds are quite firm and the pillows are very thin, so we had to request extra (but these were free). the location is alright but you will most likely have to transfer trains whenever you want to go somewhere.

Hotel with an onsen at this price is great value—no surprise it’s busy. There’s also a free washing machine within the onsen facility, though you’ll need a few 100 yen coins for the dryer, which is super handy. On the same floor, you’ll find vending machines and massage chairs. During our stay, they even offered free soup noodles as a late-night supper, which was such a thoughtful and lovely touch! A local supermarket is just minutes of walk.

We were double charged at check-in, but the refund was processed within seven days. I appreciate that it was resolved, though it was a bit concerning not to have it sorted before checkout.

We love the late night ramen and the complimentary snacks! The onsen was my favorite! We look forward to it every night after a long day. Even my little 2 year old dipped his feet in the hot bath. I moved some furniture around and made enough room to open 3 of our suitcases. The staff were also extremely helpful whenever I asked for help. It's also only 5 minutes from the station we frequently took. Highly recommend this spot! It's also very quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby!

The bed and pillows were a little too hard for my liking, I requested a softer pillow, and it was so much better!

Hotel is in a business quarter of Osaka, with many caffes and restaurants around and the metro station is really close. The hotel has an onsen, which was awesome after full day of walking. The hotel provides numerous benefits, such as non-alcoholic drinks and coffee from 15:00, popsicles and ramen in the evening. All provided amenities are high quality. If we ever come to Osaka again, we will be definitely choosing this hotel again.

Neighboring building is close to the hotel, so the view is very limited and the rooms are dark.

I love and trust the consistency of the Dormy Inn experience, each with its own unique spin and value. The free ramen, nightly ice cream and unlimited use of the massage chairs was a highlight and made for the perfect base to recharge each day of our trip. It may be out of the main tourist bubble but it's why we loved it. Getting to explore a new part of the city with lots of food and transport nearby. When I read the reviews I was concerned it may be too far out of everything we wanted to see but it was surprisingly accessible with two stations only a 2 or 10 minute walk away.

The hallways and common spaces can get quite crowded and loud. Because of that I didn't really make use of the onsen as I would have liked. While it wasn't an issue for us, I would say if you're wanting to be in the heart of the tourist spots of Osaka, this may not be the best for you. However, if you don't mind the short commute, the value you get here is so worth it IMO

This hotel offers an onsen, a manga library, ice cream fridge, laundry with no charge, and massaging chairs. In short, a bunch of perks I did not expect but are neat to have. Easy access from Shin-Osaka by metro and by foot to Dotonbori ans Osaka Castle.

Terrible, awfully hard beds and pillows. I assume this is how the Japanese prefer it, but surely it is possible to provide two varieties of pillows to choose from? Also the room layout makes no sense. A sink in the hallway? At times, the front desk staff had really weak English.
