So close to Dotonbori and the train station. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Lots of closet space and floor space for suitcases. Easy check in /check out.

The room laundry was just tossed, by the staff, onto the stairs (see photo) This stayed there for the almost a full day. The boat tours on the river played very loud music every 30 minutes until 9 pm on the weekends. Could hear alarm and people talking from the other rooms.

The property is really central, just off the river. The self check-in procedure is very smooth and fast through a tablet (exhaustive instructions were also provided in advance). The room was warm, clean and quiet

The entrance of our room was a bit tiny for three people, shoes and paraphernalia, very close to the toilet door, so it could get sometimes crowded. Not really a problem, to be honest

The location of the hotel is just right. It's out of the busy area of Dotonbori but close enough to get there in 5 minutes walking. There's a convenience store in the next building, which is also very handy. And check in and check out were done using a tablet, there's no staff in reception, but both processes were easy and fast. The staff I found taking care of the facilities was very nice and friendly, and very attentive.

I think that the futons were a little too thin or too smooth. It was the first time I slept in a futon in my life, so maybe my first impression is not that accurate. Although I was able to sleep, I had to change position every now and then because I could feel the floor. In any case, it was a minor setback.

The room was very clean, bathroom was good and had very good quality shampoo, body wash condiotner etc. The Japanese style beds were comfy, mood lighting and good aircon/heating. The hotel is self-service so we only interacted with the cleaning staff. However, they were very good, always said hello and asked if we needed anything. The location of the hotel is VERY good. Near Dotonburi, Kuroman Market and gas good transport links.

The room of the hotel feltvery thin. For example, you can hear next door quite easily. This was not really a problem for us but I imagine it could be for some, especially if you are next door to a loud family or group.

The location is great! Super close to all the fun in Osaka. I was given a room with a nice view overlooking the river. It’s perfect if you just want to use the room to sleep and be out and about the whole day.

The futons are very thin, I woke up with back pain. Our room had 3 futons, so we put one on top of the other for better padding. The room wasn’t fully clean, I found lipstick stains on the tea mugs, some dust/hair in the room, and some hair from previous visitors in the bathtub.

The location is good. It’s easy to walk to the attractions. The place is clean. The room will be ready at 3pm but the owner let us keep our luggage at our room before 3pm which is very kind and helpful.

There is no seats for waiting at the checking in area, and no place to keep luggage after checking out.

It was great, the location is great! you can go anywhere by walk. Its very near to Dotonbori just cross the road. The bed is so comfy . There is Lawson just beside the hotel and you can easily find food and stuffs nearby the hotel. Everything was great! The price is reasonable. Fair price!

You can hear people talk , car and surrounding at night but not so noisy :)

Dotonbori Shin Hotel is located in the main area of Dotonbori. The triple room has sufficient sleeping space for a group of 3 and there is a lift until 6th floor for those carrying luggage. It is a value for money accommodation in Dotonbori.

We didn't have much space to place our luggage

It is in a great location, very close to dotonbori, but still quiet enough to get a good rest(our room was in the Riverside though).

Our room was on the top floor, but the elevator only runs to the floor below. Didn't really bother us, but I think it'd be good to check with people if it'd be a problem before assigning them these rooms.
