Staff was friendly and pleasant. One of them could speak English very well. But these days you can use apps to translate and communicate. Hotel and room were clean in general. Location was great too. Close to two metro lines and main drag. Excellent value for money.

Room’s view was basically the wall of another building. It would be nice to show that in the photos. If you stay here for long, I think you’d get depressed. Breakfast was ok. No varieties for 3 days. But shouldn’t complain as we didn’t pay much in total.

The location of this hotel is the best as it is located near two railway providers but not JR if you are looking at Jr pass but they can still accept card, the quiet location and really near and walkable to shisanbaishi and dotonbori! So if you are looking to shop and walk a lot every night this is the place to stay! The staff has been very helpful but the breakfast option is quite limited, hope that they can expand the option. Other feedback is that they should include one more pillow for the double bed and the pillow feels like it needs more volume and the bed is quite hard.. the room can be small but hey if they can fix the additional pillow and softer bed this can be the best hotel around!

Great experience here. About 7-10 minute walk from the subway, so not right next to it, but close enough for comfort. Breakfast was fine - some hot food and then some bread/rolls (with a toaster!) and jam. Enough to get you going in the morning, and then lots of close by restaurants/stores if needed. Rooms were pretty spacious and well equipped. Bath/shower were specifically great! Tables in front of the provider always open to sit in.

What a little gem of a hotel at such a nice price. The room isn't big but it's cozy and enough confort for two people. The shower area is japanese style with a jacuzzi and bench. It's very close to shopping streets and a 15 minute walk to dotonbori. The staff was always very nice. There was a water dispenser at the lobby and microwave free to use.

The breakfast isn't worth any extra price you eventually may pay for it.

Everything was professional, clean, and exceeded my standards during my visit. The 24 hour staff were incredibly friendly and responsive to my needs throughout my entire stay. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom/shower was clean and additional amenities were available in the lobby area. I liked the comfortable pajama set they provided. Great value if you want to stay in Osaka and don't mind walking/being slightly further away from the hustle and bustle of the main attractions.

None. The breakfast is almost exactly the same everyday, but it was overall satisfactory for me. That is something to keep in mind if you prefer variety for your morning meal.

Very reasonably priced. The room was of a decent size with a great bathroom set up. The evening staff in particular were super friendly. The location is great, not in the thick of it but only a 10min walk to heaps of great malls and 15mins to Dotonburi. The streets around it are really cute too.

They don't help you with luggage forwarding so you have to go to the 711 if you want to use Yamato etc which was a real bummer. The window we had looked onto a brick wall which while not a big deal did kind of suck. Breakfast looked not great ( can't attest to taste - we couldn't eat it anyways due to being veg). It was 2 tiny sausages, mashed potatoes and egg with the bread of the day / crossiants. But the juice and coffee were a good start to each morning. Beds were the hardest we slept on across 6 hotels we stayed on this trip and the pillow (only 1 supplied) is super flat. Our backs and necks were actually cooked from them. However, the evening staff were kind enough to give us an extra pillow each which was actually puffier and did make a bit of a difference!

Bigger than average room size and a light but delicious breakfast. The best point however is the bath: standard in the class would be a unit bath, so one big plastic cell combining toilet, shower, bath and vanity. This place shines with a full typical Japanese bath set up: separate toilet room (of course a proper washlet) and the bath area has both a space to shower and then jump into a nice big and deep bathtub after cleaning yourself. Absolute bliss after an exhausting day. The rooms are also very quiet, both regarding street noise (there is none, due to the side street location) and other guests.

Nothing really, except the splendid provided nightwear was slightly too small for a chunky 185cm tall person.

I recently stayed at hotel Folio and wanted to share my positive experience. While the room was on the smaller side, it was surprisingly comfortable. The standout feature was the spacious bathroom. The staff was exceptionally kind and always available to assist, adding a warm touch to my stay. Despite being a simple hotel, the service was top-notch. The hotel's location near Dotonbori is a major plus, making it convenient for exploring the vibrant surroundings. Overall, I recommend this hotel for a cozy and comfortable stay with excellent service.
