We booked a 3-bed room. I read many poor reviews on Google after I've booked and paid for the room, so my expectations were low, but the room was adequate, though small. There were many complaints about the hard bed and the number of pillows provided, but the bed was ok. I also requested for additional pillows before check in and they were provided for. The public area downstairs was where we'd hang out at the end of the day for beers and snacks. It's actually a nice place to hang. They provided free snacks, but there were drinks and other snacks for sale too. Towels, pajamas and other amenities were provided at the first floor because cleaning is only done every 3 days. Overall, our stay was fine for the price we paid for. My family was contented.

The shampoo and the conditioner provided were the worst I've ever tried. Bring your own hair products.

The location of the hotel was really good, very close to Dotonbori, main attractions such as Osaka History Museum and Castle, etc. The amenities were self-service, which was an interesting touch, and the room was clean and the mattress was a bit stiff (I liked it, my partner did not).

The room size was significantly problematic for us. This is the n-th hotel we stay at in this trip throughout Japan, and from all of the places, this room seemed to be the smallest, by a large (pun intended) margin. Moreover, the bathroom was almost uncomfortably small, at the level where sitting on the toilet required some learned movements to be performed. This might come from two people with average-big height, but still our observation stands.

I think this was the most comfortable room of our entire trip. The comfort room was exactly what we expected: it had large, comfy beds, enough space to store our luggage without any problems, and everything else we needed was available in the hotel hall. The hotel was also close to everything we needed, including several convenience stores and a couple of subway stations within walking distance. However, there isn’t much else of interest nearby.

Very good location close to various tourist spots and train station. Nice shop in first floor, washing machine and dryer available. Self serving with towels was nice and the tv was a smart tv with internet access. You could steer youtube among others with your phone.

The beds were quite hard and uncomfortable. We couldnt find detergent offered for the washing machine. A bit wastful to buy a whole pack to only wash a few days worth of clothes.

Nice local breakfast. Breakfast more Japanese style, so be aware if looking for something else. Room was not biggest, but was more than enough. Amenities great. Cosy hotel. They also offer some craft beer vending machine, if you are in craft beers.

Even it was not smoking hotel last two nights I felt cigarette smell. Don’t know if it came from some guests or somewhere outside.

The place is a gem, good price, great rooms and close to everything

Nothing that I can think about

Everything was still new since they opened not long ago. The room got all necessities, and if you need anything, you just grabbed them yourself. My only concern was the bed. So as long as the bed was clean, other stuff wasn’t a problem ‘cause I don’t really stay in the room that long beside sleeping. In addition, the front desk people were very nice. They tried their best to help you if you asked them.

It’s true that somebody mentioned the location was a bit far from metro station. However my family found out the time taking the metro and walking back to the hotel was the same, so we just walked to check out the neighborhood and save money on the subway. Overall you got what you paid for, so be more flexible!

Staff - the staff were outstanding. Always friendly and always willing and wanting to help. They helped us to forward our luggage to Tokyo and were always on hand for any questions. Location - the neighbourhood is fantastic and quiet with a 7/11 and familymart less than 5 minutes away as well as many great restaurants. It’s a short 20 minute walk to Dotonburi with plenty of shops and restaurants in between. There are also two underground stations nearby and it takes around 40 minutes to get to USJ. Facilities - The facilities were great, the shower is powerful and the bed is comfy (although firm). They also have a station in the lobby to get anything you might need such as razors, toothbrush, scrunchie, additional towels etc. shampoo, conditioner, soap and body soap is all provided.

An estate agent would definitely describe the room as “cosy”. But everything is well utilised and space for suitcases etc under the bed once you’ve unpacked.

The property was very beautiful and clean. The staff was always helpful and kind. The property is located near the metro station, and the neighborhood is very quiet and not noisy. Inside the property, there was a laundry service available for a fee, without an excessive cost.

The room sizes were quite small by European standards. We were not prepared for those dimensions; in fact, moving around inside the room with all the luggage became challenging. The cleaning service was always available, but here too our expectations differed from reality. The rooms are cleaned every 3/4 days (though towels are always changed), which left us somewhat surprised given the standards we were accustomed to.

The staff at this hotel were so helpful during our stay. When our wifi didn't work, they quickly came to fix it or offer an alternative. We also needed to visit a hospital during our visit and Shankar Shrestha helped us hugely by phoning the hospital and checking that they could help us. His hard work made our time in Japan much easier. Thank you so much Shankar!
