A place I definitely want to keep a secret. It's so difficult to find a property in Japan for a solo traveler on a budget. It was the most comfortable accommodation I had during my entire trip. Everything was so convenient—the location, access to food, free use of washer and drinking water. I also met a lovely and kind woman from a nearby pharmacy when I was feeling unwell. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Osaka.

Liked: great private room at a fair price. Beds were comfortable, check-in/out was easy. Free laundry machine with detergent with plenty of space in the room to air dry our clothes. There's a Lawson and 7/11 nearby as well as a grocery. The subway is also a 4-6 minute walk depending on which station you go to. We had a great 4 night stay. Disliked: nothing Conclusion: this is a great place to stay if you want a private shower and enough space for a family of 4. It is a little far from major sights like Osaka castle or Universal, however an extra 15 minutes on the train isn't a big deal to me.

I booked the room for 4 people but used it for 2. There are 2 bunk beds. It will be too tight for 4 people, but for 2 is comfortable with sufficient space for 2 medium luggages. I've also used the double room for myself which is comfortable for myself alone but will be tight for 2. The hostel has no elevator and rooms are on level 1 and 2. There are basic shampoo, conditioner and body wash and a mini fridge in the room. No kettles. Hot and cold water is available in the reception area where you can also eat your meals. For some rooms, the curtains do not fully block out the morning sun. The bathrooms do not have sufficient hooks for clothes/hanging toiletries bags. If you would like to send your luggage, make sure the courier company can provide a certain timing and communicate this to the hostel, as there is no staff manning the reception like a regular hotel. There is a huge supermarket "Life Tamadehigashi" within walking distance - we enjoyed getting our cheap and fresh sashimi and snacks (not the one near hostel but further away). While the Hostel is near Tamade station which is a little away from the happening tourist areas, it is on the blue line that does not need transfer to some shopping areas or just one transfer to the red line to Namba. 7-11 is just outside. Best thing is it is near Kishinosato-Tamade station which is the Nankai line that takes you to Sakai station, where you can easily take a rapid train to Kansai airport. It is a pleasant stay overall.

Light and welcoming atmosphere The lobby was well-lit and cozy. Enough room to lounge around or pass time. Hassle-free check-in and check-out procedures For check-in, front desk staff confirms your booking by asking for your name and you’ll get your key immediately after confirmation. Check-out was easy to do as well. I left before their working hours, so I just left my room key in the box on the front desk as their instructions state. Accessibility It’s great that there are two train stations accessible from this property. Kishinosato-Tamade Station (Nankai Line) is just 2-3 minutes away, while Tamade Station (Yotsubashi Line) is around 6 minutes on foot. Ample room and bathroom space The room size was good. It was not too small for me because I only had one medium-sized luggage. As for the bathroom, it was clean and the size was decent.

The place was extremely quiet so book here if you want to avoid any noise at night. Our room was spacious for Japan and very comfortable, it was nice to have the bunk beds for our own personal spaces. The brightest spot was the owners recommendations. On our first night we really wanted to try some sushi so we asked him if he knew any places. He sent us to the best sushi place all 3 of us had ever been to, it was fantastic. He also recommended us another restaurant which was lovely. He was also very nice and accommodating, thank you so much!

There is a lot of space to socialize but it doesn’t seem like the clientele are very social, which is fine but would’ve added to the experience to meet other travellers.

Good location - accessible by metro and it’s a short walk back to the hostel. It’s a residential neighbourhood so even you go back late, people are still going home and there are lights along the way. Feel safe to be there! Room is fair with everything you need. No staff at all but they prepare everything and put it there for you. Recommend to travellers!

For me as solo traveller wasnt an issue but the room wld be extremelly small for two people or even obe person with large luggage

Looks exactly like pictures, staff was easy to message and helpful, there was a guide book made and he let us know if we wanted to reserve anywhere he could help us. Kind. Bunk beds were comfortable and there was a little shelf area for each bed giving us more space. It is small but with 2 large suitcases we made it work. If you are on the taller/larger size the bathroom/shower stall might be tight, I am 155cm and sitting on the toilet my knees almost touched the door. There is an additional bathroom in lobby that is more spacious.

Very convenient between KIX and Umeda. Perfect for those arriving after a long flight and wanting a pitstop before continuing their journey on the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka. It’s nearby to a Nankai railway station Kishinosato-Tamade (great for Kansai International Airport connection) and also a short walk to Osaka Metro station Tamade (east to travel to Shin Osaka with one across the platform change at Daikokucho). Beside the metro station are 24 hours convenience stores and food outlets. The service at the hotel is very friendly and it was a perfect check-in following good communication about time of arrival. This place is great for those wanting to come and go and do their own thing.

Good price, the owner was really nice and it was easy to check-in/out. I could do laundry for free which was really nice. I appreciate the quiet place. Close to convenient stores and a train station (for those who use Google maps, be aware of the name written in Japanese). As it is a bit far from the center, you will eventually need to use the subway. Check the one-day pass that can be worth it (on weekends especially) !

A drying rack would definitely be a plus, as most of my clothes were not suitable for drying machine so I had to be creative. No hot water coming from the water dispenser, but there is a microwave available.
