This was in a great location. A few steps away from metro stations that got me everywhere I needed to be. Room was clean, had everything I needed. Connecting with the "Family Market" was helpful as well, especially with cashback for shopping there.

I wish the staff could speak a little more English. It is also no my first language, but it is one of the most commonly used ones. Room was quite small, which is not a problem for me and a standard in Japan, but something to keep on mind. I wish there was a kettle in my room, not a communal one on the 1st floor.

Had an absolutely AMAZING stay at this hotel, if youre a solo traveler this is the perfect place. Insanely good price, small but cozy room with all necessary amenities (more than big enough for one person and a large suitcase). A konbini is literally in the hotel itself and its right next to a train station, so the location is also amazing. Staff was super friendly and everything was clean and comfortable.

Some guests might be bothered by noise of trains, but they stop running during the night so it should not be a big deal

I was pleasantly surprisef that when I got off exactly from Dobutsuen-mae station (Midosouji line) via exit 3, when you look at your righr side, you can alreasy see the entrance of the hotel,though i didn't see elevator in exit 3, so be prepared to carry your luggage going up the stairs. anyway, the hotel have elevators so no worries. they also have available amenities & free unlimited coffee. the hotel also have access to the family mart nearby. and i noticed that there are at least 2 family mart nearby & lawson.. there is also a 24-hr mega don quijote just a street away. if you're thinking of taking a train going to airport (KIX), you can take Shin-Imamiya station(JR line) & check the schedule of the nankai-limited express or just take the ordinary line which stops at every station. but do take note that you need to enter the west gate,w/c is around 400m and not the one across the hotel (east gate) cause that was my mistake & i needed to go up & down the stairs. but I think you can also enter via east gate, but not sure what platform to take to easily get to airport. if you will arrive earlier than your check in time, you can also leave ypur luggage in their reception. you just ask their staff.. the room size is just right for me since I am travelling alone. I was able to open my medium size & small luggage at the same time when I was packing. so quite spacious if I will compare it to the room I got in Kyoto

I booked on the day and for a last-minute booking found it very affordable. Staff were very helpful and had some English, they also kept my bags in reception before checking in and after checking out. They have some nice facilities like a built in Family Mart (you get 10% back on food and drink with receipt), laptops you can use, laundry room, microwave. Good location, very close to metro.

The towels were rather thin, and would have liked a daily clean of the room/change of towels. The electricity in the room runs off your keycard, so when not in the room doesn't work which means the AC and fridge won't work when you leave - would have appreciated being able to keep drinks chilled while out.

The location is very accessible and its just steps away from Mega Donki, Shinsekai, Spa world. And it has a Family Mart attached in the ground floor. Shin Imamiya and Dobutsuen Mae stations are just steps away also. The room is also perfect for 1 person. It has tv, mini fridge, working/vanity area, bathroom with toilet and bathtub and bed is also very comfy.

It’s value for its price. So i can’t think of anything that I didn’t like.

The staff are the highlight of this hotel. Always attentive to help you. Even though their English Skills were not that great, they managed to communicate through translation apps and provided the information that I was looking for. The room, was average and as the hotel is on the main road, there were occasional loud cars and motorbikes that were a nuisance during the night. But at the price point, I will not complain. After one day, I got used to the sound. And the plus point is that this is right across the street to the JR train station gate, which made it extremely convenient. I also used the washing machine and dryer. They also have a laptop for the guests to use.

- Superb location with 2 local metro lines (Midosuji & Sakaisuji) right at the doorstep and Shin Imamiya JR just across the road. - Immaculate room with an attached bathroom. - Directly connected to a Family Mart (although the private access hardly works). - The room is dirt cheap. Note: Osaka Nishinari-ku (西成区) does look a tad bleak and dodgy but I didn't run into any problem.

- Spotty internet connection. I practically had to tether my laptop to my mobile every night.

I loved the location—it’s very close to popular tourist spots like Dotonbori and Shinsekai. The train station is right beside the entrance, making it super accessible. The staff were also kind enough to let me store my bag after checkout. Great stay overall!

since it’s right next to the train station, you can hear the trains passing by, which might be a bit noisy for light sleepers

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good price. Easy to get to. Have a convenience store connected to the ground floor, guests can get 10% back on all payments there if they show a receipt. The hotel serves free coffee and tea. I think this is a super good combination for breakfast and dinner when you are busy - you can walk directly into the store from the hotel, and walk directly back into the hotel into the small dining area with some microwaves.

Hotel was right next to the train tracks, and I could hear trains in the night. Still slept OK with earplugs, but worth pointing out.
