Liked having your own room for the price of a capsule Hotel and sharing all common areas with other guests.

This turned out to be a wonderful stay. I wanted to save money, and I did, but I had my own room. The room was small, but it did have a refrigerator and AC that worked fantastic, as well as a window I could open for fresh air. I loved the location as well, it was convenient to the metro and in walking distance of many attractions. Tons of food and convenience stores within a block or less.

The showers were on the first floor where the common space is, so you have to trek through the common area in robes (which were provided and quite nice). There are about six shower stalls available for the whole hostel/hotel. There are also some onsens available until 9:30pm. I didn't use those so I can't comment on them.

Great location and hotel near the Red line to all the major attractions. Liked the ability to put your luggage at the lobby anytime though have to lock your bags as it's in an open area. Note that shampoo and bath soap has to be given by exchanging your room key with the reception area. Met the expectations of the room from booking.com.

Wouldn't recommend it if it's a large group as there's only single rooms. The toilets in Level 4 could be improved better in terms of cleanliness. The shared bathroom at the ground floor (Level 1) was small. Other than that it's a good location for solo travellers wishing to have a comfortable private single room.

Excellent location as it is very close to Shinsekai, and only a few meters away from Dobutsuen-mae and Shin-imamiya stations. It is also a walkable (YMMV) distance to Nipponbashi, and Dotonbori. So, if you like going out at night - exploring food and all kinds of izakaya, location's a plus. Free amenities every day (bathrobes, slippers, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner and body soap, and towels). If you also like to eat/prepare food at home instead of eating outside as you're on a budget, amenities are also available.

Limited shower room so you might have to wait a while, and you have to go the 1st floor, so it might be awkward getting a lift just to have a shower. The hotel is not dirty but not sparkling clean either - maybe just because of age, so temper your expectations. Also, for my whole trip, this might be my smallest room albeit the cheapest, so when I started buying extra stuff, I have to start managing my space well.

An outdated budget hotel so don't expect luxury. It does what it suppose to do. Comfy bed, unlimited towels, quiet room. However there were only 2 toilet cubicles per floor. The toilet at my floor can be cleaner. You can choose between having an onsen or a private shower. Looks like the private shower is new but the onsen is a little old. Very near the subway station and the JR line going to and from the Kansai airport.

Toilet in my floor can be cleaner. Though assigned in a non-smoking floor, I can still smell cigarette in the hallway.

The room was cute and cozy and to myself. There was an onsen that I was allowed to use even though I have tattoos. They gave you free amenities, including wifi, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner and body soap, and towels every day. There were hair dryers as well and a microwave in the lobby. And a fridge and monitor in the room.

This hostel was primarily all locals so communication didn't happen much sadly. Even communication with the front desk was difficult as a foreigner, but they did try to help as much as they could.

This hotel is very cozy and amazing! I really enjoyed every day to stay in this hotel. So price is really very good and cheap, location is perfect, my room in Japanese style was so comfortable and so cozy:)

One minus, the kitchen is alsways crowded and I prefer to eat outside. Of course this hotel is not 5star very comfortable as some guests expected (according to reviews), but, common, the price is cheaper than hostel's price! I recommend this hotel 100%

1. Near train stations - Dobutsuen-Mae Station (metro/subway) and Shin-Imamiya Station (direct train from KIX). 2. Room was big enough for the 3 of us (2 adults 1 child [10y/o]) with 2 big luggage + 3 knapsacks (50 litre). 3. Amenities provided - extension cord (but do bring your own international adapter) toothbrush, towels, bathrobe, shampoo, shower gel, room slippers etc. 4. Friendly staff 5. Common area

I got a private room on the top floor, and it meant I had a wonderful view. Staff were friendly and helpful and showed me where I could leave my luggage before check-in time. The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities were kept clean and tidy. The best thing is the location of the hotel, everything you need is nearby - train station, shops, Tennoji Zoo.

The rooms are very basic and small, I felt quite cramped and I'm only a small person. However, for the price, they were very reasonable

Facilities offered were great. Hot bath (shared), showers, laundry, lounge area and the food and drinks in case you need a small meal or snack. They even offered robes and toiletries as a ‘help yourself’ approach, at the front desk.

Walls are very thin, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may have an issue sleeping but no issue for myself. Plus they have signs everywhere stating for people to be quiet after 23:00. Just wish the hot bath was accessible more often throughout the day
