The rooms were very clean. It had a lot of beds in the apartment. 2 singles in one room and 4 in another. That configuration wasn't quite what I hoped as my husband and I needed a double bed. I upgraded to a 'better' room to get the larger bed. It may have been a communication issue - the beds were slightly bigger than singles (more like king singles in Australia). The beds were very comfy. No pillowcases were provided - which was a little strange. The bathroom was great, kitchen and lounge layout were great. Hosts were attentive and when we had a beer in the downstairs tavern - they threw it in for free.

BEST STAY IN OSAKA ! omg I am speechless. I wish there was residence saku in Tokyo. Everything is top notch. Cleanest , most organised apart. Best facilities with amazing kitchen, dining table, spacious with air con and balcony. Best customer service. I would give it 10 stars. Good bathroom, toilet and kitchen facilities. With clear instructions of how to sort the trash and it had a guide for everything. Will go back there in heartbeat. We had twin bedroom. We were genuinely sad leaving residence saku. Lovely neighbourhood and easy to reach train station. Very friendly and heart warming staff. Thanks for everything. Hontoni arigatou.

They should have residence saku in Tokyo also.

A spacious apartment with separate bedroom. Apartment has electrical appliances such as microwave oven, refrigerator, TV and washing machine. I like the location of the apartment, which is near Shin-Imamiya JR and Nankai stations and the Osaka metro. The is a bar (Tiida Bar) at the ground floor, and many nice restaurants in the area.

The room and facilities in the room and property is very clean and tidy. Although the receptionist won't be able to speak english but we have no problem on communication. There was a fridge with freezer which is very......excellent and that was my favourite because we could buy ice-cream and meat or seafood to freeze. I really love this facility so much. The location is very good. It took 2 mins to subway station Dobutsuen-mae and 8 mins to Shin-Imamiya station (Nankai airport train station). I requested for quiet room and they arranged an unit on 6th floor which was so quiet at night for sleeping although there was a kid walking around at night. So far it didn't affect our stay too much. The receptionist was very helpful. We wanted to bring some frozen food to our countries but our flight was at night. They told me that we could put our food into their fridge and baggage storage for free until we left the property at night. Their service is fantastic and we are sure will come back to this property on our next travel to Osaka. We highly recommend this apartment stay. 100% satisfied with our stay which was 8 days.

The only problem is the subway exit has a lot of stairs which we understood it was not the fault of the property. It was very tired to walk stairs with a lot of shopping or after a long day sightseeing.

Very spacious, clean and well equipped apartment rental for a short stay. Reception was great and we communicated with Google Translate with no problems. Really appreciate the small baggies that contained utilities (e.g. tooth brush). Also had a washing machine and dryer combo, plus enough Tide pods for washing (we stayed for 4 days and the host gave us 4 tide pods, we only used 2 I think) .

Wish the location was a bit better, it was close to transit which was great but it was still out of the way. However, given the price and amenities, it was a fantastic stay.

Very cheap and the location was really good (5 minute walk to Dobutsuen-Mae Station - easy line to Dotonbori and ~6 minute walk to Shin-Imamiya station - a JR station). Also close to a late night takoyaki stand that served better takoyaki than what you would find along Dotonbori (and its cheaper too). Overall a great stay

Some of the pillows were stained yellow as they were the memory foam ones, we just slept on the other pillows.

Great location, within 5mins walking to the nearest train station - metro, JR & Nankai line. Listed in the hotel list for baggage delivery from KIX. Clean room and all the amenities working. Will come back if we return to Osaka again.

Front desk will communicate using Pocket talk - Japanese to English. But not an issue as he just explained the basic things like how to use the key, checkout time etc. The area known as slum area; its not very clean. But the locals (homeless/drunk) will not bother you.

Huge room with kitchen. Comfortable beds

The cleaners did not do a good job by japanese standards. There were cobwebs in the corner of the toilet room. The washing machine filter bag has not been cleaned so long that the contents has lumped together and turned black and waxy The neighbor hood was not nice. On our way out or on our way in, we would always see guys sitting on the pavement drinking alcohol. Or sleeping (passes out?)

This apartment is situated near several train and subway stations, each serving different lines. Conveniently, there are also a couple of Family Marts, Lawsons, and a Mega Donki within walking distance. The apartment was surprisingly good, better than any hotel I’ve stayed in during my time in Japan. We spent almost two weeks here and it felt like a home away from home. The spacious apartment had a good toilet, bath, and comfortable bed and pillow. While there is minimal English staff, they made a great effort to bridge the language gap.

The area may seem a bit shady, but we never felt unsafe. It’s all about getting used to the locals, and we had plenty of time to do that. There’s no 7-Eleven nearby. There’s a strong smell coming from the shower room drains - it might be a local thing, though, as we had it before in the hotel two years ago. There’s no microwave, but there’s a hob, so that’s a first-world problem.

The whole unit was definitely big compared to a regular hotel you’d normally book in Japan. There’s so much space for multiple large luggages. The amenities were just enough for two people. Cutlery, towels, laundry detergent were all provided for. Laundry was definitely a plus! While it did come with a dryer setting, you’d still need to dry them out on the balcony, which I didn’t really mind doing. There’s also a house booklet with instructions for all the appliances provided in the apartment so that was definitely helpful. It’s also very near Lawson and a supermarket if you wanna grab food! We were able to take advantage of the stove and cook for our own since it’s cheaper to buy ingredients. It’s also a short walking distance to the train station and a major tourist spot to go to at night. Love that it’s also super near Mega Don Quijote. Overall, we didn’t have any problems with the accommodations. We stayed at the top floor so there wasn’t much noise except for the neighbors and the train, but nothing too annoying. If you’re a couple traveling, this location definitely works for your convenience. But don’t really recommend it for families with kids since the area is kind of run down. But as a woman who walked alone in the area at night, I think it’s pretty safe.

It’s a self check in and no one manned the desk the whole time we were there. You’d need to message them directly if you have any requests. If you need to have your luggage forwarded, you’d need to pay extra since the place is not a hotel and you have to send off the luggages yourself. But the process went smoothly so no complaints really.
