The privacy of your own room for such a low price was fantastic. The room was comfortable enough- nothing flashy but you get what you pay for! Property was clean enough and a good little stay.

My only concern was the security. The reception was closed during evening/night with no staff but a side door was left visibly open for guests to still get in (no code needed). The fire escape was also left open all night meaning anybody could get in. The area around is a little 'run down' also, so I felt there was alot of potential for people potentially wanting to come in.

I was very happy there. Very quiet. Futon bed is thicker than most; microbead pillow. Able to leave bags before and after checkout (note reception hours). Absolutely no smell of cigarette smoke. The area is kind of the cheap hotel district in Osaka. Very near Shinsekai food district, and fantastic transit connections. Tamade supermarket nearby (cheap!). Each room has AC and a fridge. AC isn't very cold, but acceptable. There's a common room with a table, microwave and hot water. There's a sento for men open 4-9pm daily, and showers open until 11pm. Would 100% stay here again.

Everything you need. I stayed in a single tatami room. Working fridge and aircon. The walls are thick enough so that you can’t hear your neighbors. The building was so quiet. Everyone living or staying there was respectful, even opening doors quietly. Helpful, kind owners. Hot water plus green tea on tap in a machine by the entrance was helpful. Bathroom areas are very clean and are cleaned every day. I like this part of town. There are locals without much money, but they’re perfectly pleasant folk. As a single woman I felt safe at all times. Some great restaurants around - the more local, the better! Okay, the corridors are not pretty but the price was perfect and I slept well. I’d go back! If you like glitz this is not for you but if you like quiet comfort at the right price, it’s perfect.

You get what you pay for, a room with a bed to sleep in. Nothing fancy or revolutionary, but does it's job very good. I cannot say I expected more. The Coin operated washing machine is a nice addition however and the staff is super friendly and accommodating.

You are a bit at the mercy of your room neighbors, if someone decides it's a good idea to blast the tv at even medium volume in the room next to you, you will definitely hear it. Same goes for conversations in the hallway. If you are above 185 cm in height however, the futon will be too small i fear.

nice staff (an elderly couple & their son i think) that let me check in earlier than their check in time when i wanted to store my luggage before the check in!! room is cosy ryokan style! there was also enough space to open up my luggage. near to shin-imamiya

bedsheet had some stain located in the most dangerous ward in osaka, can be scary, but based on my own experience i was fine as a female solo traveller alone at night

I like it 👍 room is small but you can fold bed , chair and table . So , if you fold the bed in the morning it seems like a living room . It is ok for solo travelers i think. For me room is clean and smelling not bad . But i am the smoker guy . 🤷🏼‍♂️

It is little bit far away from the touristic places, but in japan you can go everywhere by train so i think it is not a problem . Only con is you have to get back before the train ends . But You can find everything in this area also . I can advise to go umagozaru restaurant and bar . Very delicious👌🏼i miss it 😋

The place is quite furnished, basic needs are provided. The manager at the counter was very kind to inform me of all the things I needed to know. The shower room is great, neat and simple.

The toilet is a little cramped. Other than that I think most of the utilities and facilities are good. Would be great if there are some recyclable utensils or plates for food that are heated up using the microwave.

I liked how you got your own private room, with a very comfortable futon to sleep on, the staff were very kind and courteous, an helped whenever needed, despite the area being labeled as "sketchy" i found no issues in the area; all the locals were very friendly. There's no curfew, you can walk in and out at any time whether it's 4pm or 4am

The room was a bit small, I had a medium sized suitcase that couldn't be opened easily due to the space, however with a bit of manoeuvring, I opened it just fine.

The room is clean,not smelly.got tv and fridge too.comfortable bed and blanket.the price is super cheap for a private room.not too forget a reasonable towel

The toilet is a bit smelly,the shower is not 24 hours.the location is a bit uneasy if you are not familiar with it.

I liked the two shower rooms and the bath (for women only). The size was exactly what I needed - just enough for my bags and myself. For being in a busy area, it was pretty quiet. The staff were very friendly and even bought us coffee on the day we left. There were a few regulars that sat and chatted with the staff, so it felt very comfortable.

The sheets were a little thin and the cover was a little thick (hot), but that seems to be normal with futons. Even though the toilets were cleaned regularly, it got quite dirty with the whole floor using it - again, that's to be expected.
