The privacy of your own room for such a low price was fantastic. The room was comfortable enough- nothing flashy but you get what you pay for! Property was clean enough and a good little stay.

My only concern was the security. The reception was closed during evening/night with no staff but a side door was left visibly open for guests to still get in (no code needed). The fire escape was also left open all night meaning anybody could get in. The area around is a little 'run down' also, so I felt there was alot of potential for people potentially wanting to come in.

You get what you pay for, a room with a bed to sleep in. Nothing fancy or revolutionary, but does it's job very good. I cannot say I expected more. The Coin operated washing machine is a nice addition however and the staff is super friendly and accommodating.

You are a bit at the mercy of your room neighbors, if someone decides it's a good idea to blast the tv at even medium volume in the room next to you, you will definitely hear it. Same goes for conversations in the hallway. If you are above 185 cm in height however, the futon will be too small i fear.

I like it 👍 room is small but you can fold bed , chair and table . So , if you fold the bed in the morning it seems like a living room . It is ok for solo travelers i think. For me room is clean and smelling not bad . But i am the smoker guy . 🤷🏼‍♂️

It is little bit far away from the touristic places, but in japan you can go everywhere by train so i think it is not a problem . Only con is you have to get back before the train ends . But You can find everything in this area also . I can advise to go umagozaru restaurant and bar . Very delicious👌🏼i miss it 😋

The place is quite furnished, basic needs are provided. The manager at the counter was very kind to inform me of all the things I needed to know. The shower room is great, neat and simple.

The toilet is a little cramped. Other than that I think most of the utilities and facilities are good. Would be great if there are some recyclable utensils or plates for food that are heated up using the microwave.

I liked how you got your own private room, with a very comfortable futon to sleep on, the staff were very kind and courteous, an helped whenever needed, despite the area being labeled as "sketchy" i found no issues in the area; all the locals were very friendly. There's no curfew, you can walk in and out at any time whether it's 4pm or 4am

The room was a bit small, I had a medium sized suitcase that couldn't be opened easily due to the space, however with a bit of manoeuvring, I opened it just fine.

I liked the two shower rooms and the bath (for women only). The size was exactly what I needed - just enough for my bags and myself. For being in a busy area, it was pretty quiet. The staff were very friendly and even bought us coffee on the day we left. There were a few regulars that sat and chatted with the staff, so it felt very comfortable.

The sheets were a little thin and the cover was a little thick (hot), but that seems to be normal with futons. Even though the toilets were cleaned regularly, it got quite dirty with the whole floor using it - again, that's to be expected.

If you looking for a hotel in this price change, you need to prepare few issues. But for me the hotel was perfect - even it was smelly in the first days...but I bought an air freshener and the tobacco smell disappeared. Toilet, shower was totally clean - the mattress is old-school japanese futon mattress...so for the westerners can be uncomfortable. But for me was fine. Fridge, flat screen tv in the room and the aircon was working well. Very good supermarket and all the major train and metro lines are within 300m.

The area is like a super special Cairo-Tokyo mixture with full of poor people and bad conditioned buildings. I love Cairo - I lived there - so for me was fine but for some of the tourists can be annoying.

There were several stations within walking distance. I was also traveling on a budget, and there's a supermarket called "Tamade" around which sells really affordable ready-made food. I saved much on meals.

The toilet on the floor I stayed was shared between men and women. I can't remember if there's a non-smoking sign in the common area, but some guests were smoking and the smell was bad.

It's a fully private room (yet VERY small) for super cheap in close to downtown Osaka. The bathroom is shared tho. The staff were very friendly while they couldn't speak any English. The shower offers good space to put your stuff and it stays perfectly dry while you shower

You're sleeping on a mat on the floor, which I found a little charming to experience

You get everything you need, a clean room, clean toilet and showers, there's even an onsen and a bathtub. But don't expect any luxuries, this is a hostel, but it gets the job done.

The showers are only open from 6am to 11pm, which can be really inconvenient, after all Osaka is mainly a night city.
