I love everything about this place. It TOTALLY EXCEEDED my expectations. I wasn't expecting it to be super good given the price, but oh my i was blown away when i arrived at the place. Even though the building is old, is it kept and maintained well. Although the room is small (this is normal in Japan i guess), the room is just nice for a single person, a big oversize luggage can be stored below the bed giving you space for you to move around the room. The toilet although looks old but the facilities are great, heated toilet seat, automatic spray and etc. Although the space is small, the shower room is kept cleaned, hot water is very generous too and available at all times. The public area where people can gather, sit down, cook, heat up food is amazing as well. You can refill water for free, free ice cubes, free coffee, free change of towel and face towel everyday and free slippers too! It's definitely worth the price you are paying. Given the price you pay, the amenities, facilities you get, i would definitely recommend it to travellers. You can go with your friends as well and have a personal room to yourself with shared bathrooms!

For travellers who are not used to small size personal rooms may not like it a lot.. but i would still recommend it if you are travelling on a budget. Toilet for small / big businesses can sometime smell but notify the staff and they'll get it solved for you. The Air Conditioner is directly above you / the bed, so those who can't stand having air blown towards you may pose a problem. However, my stay was during the May/June and it was still pretty cold outside, so open the window is sufficient for me. Given the price you pay, the amenities, facilities you get, i would definitely recommend it to travellers. You can go with your friends as well and have a personal room to yourself with shared bathrooms!

Anything and everything you'll need is included (toothbrush, lotion, serum, shampoo, slippers, towels). The price was amazing for all the amenities that were included and the location is so convenient - we easily walked to and from Namba area and dontonburri within about 30 min. The free bike rentals were also amazing as well. The staff was really nice and the overall atmosphere was very homey and welcoming. Can't speak for other floors, but the washroom in the women's only floor was really clean as well.

Took us a little while to figure out how to use the AC and heating. The showers are on the first floor only and they don't look very appealing, but the (free) onsen was very nice and we did all our washing and showering there instead.

Walking distance to 3 train stations and Tsutenkaku tower. Some vending machine are availabe in and near hotel. Bathrobe, extra tower, soap, shampoo are provided...love it!!! Hotel also provides public bath that seperate male and female. It's kind a old building, but pretty clean coz some staffs perform routine cleaning. The hotel also has more diverse guest (not typical of backpacler hostel in other countries).

Bathroom is only located in 1st floor (not so convenient, but probably good for maintenance & security??). Kitchen a bit dated.. The pillow was no so comfy.

The staff was nice, spacious room, cozy lobby with coffee in the morning

The area was convenient but not great, the only gave us one key for 2 people, no umbrellas to use during the day, no private light next to the beds

The hotel was pretty near to a station and was in a safe location. The facilities were really good totally justified by the price. The room was good and came with a mini fridge & a TV. There was a kind of mini convenience store that had many options of food which you can have if you want to have some breakfast or snacks before or after doing exploration.

Loved it. Friendly staff. I forgot the code for the woman's shower spa and a kind staff member let me in each time. Loved the kitchen facilities and the friendly family area. Bath towels, face towels and gowns provided, coffee in the morning free.

It didn't bother me at all but it could have been cleaner however they say that they have staffing problems.

The place is near to Dobutsuen mae subway station and near Family Mart around the corner. Staff are friendly (boys I can say). They understand easy words when you try to talk to them. A set of shampoo&conditioner is so good. Nice morning coffee and all facilities are in good condition.

The woman staff seemed to easy moody when she didn’t understand what travelers said. She even knocked the door when check out time. I had to rush out before my plan 😒. Dust is everywhere especially on air-con. Try to clean and use more of vacuum cleaner in the small corner. Clean common area more like shower box to keep it new all the time.

Location is good, few minutes walk to metro station or JR station and walking distance to Shinsekai. The hotel is dated but the room has what you need: a clean, comfortable bed, a little sofa, desk, fridge, clothes rack, TV, AC, towels, toothbrushes, robes and slippers. It's very cheap so you can't expect luxury. We had a pleasant stay and i recommend this for those who don't want to spend a lot on accommodation.

There's one inconvenience: showers are on the 1st floor so you have to take the elevator down and back, but the water pressure is very good and it's quite clean so no big deal. There are toilets and sinks at each floor, not so clean but that's mostly the guests fault.

PERFECT LOCATION! SUROUNDED BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION STATIONS ie. JR/NANKAI/SUBWAY. FREE TOILETRIES, TOWELS , SLIPPERS AND YUKATA. BYCYCLES AND BAGGAGE STORAGE ARE FREE OF CHARGE, GOOD WIFI SIGNAL. ALL YOU CAN GET AT UNBEATABLE PRICE.

BATH ROOM IS A BIT OLD, SHOULD RENNOVATE.

Location is near to 3 stations, one station is just one minute walk. Even though this is shared bathroom and toilet facilities, however these facilities are clean. It is better if they also have the shared bathroom in each floor.

Shower is only available in the ground floor. They need to add more plug in to charge battery in the room, only one plug is available in my room.
