There sitting area i liked the most with all utensils ,micowave, chairs and table all arranged in manner . Seperate smoking area with wooden benchs were pretty cool . We booked 4 pax dorm , space in room was quiet shrinked but bed and pillows was all puffed . All other room amenities like slipper towel hand towel was available at the reception area you can bring that upto your dorm/room Washroom toiletries was of super quality . Had a great time and good memories for those 3 nights .

My room had two windows, a small fridge with freezer, TV, air conditioning and good wifi. The price was excellent, and the property has a small onsen (public bath) and sauna! The location is very good near JR Shin-Imamiya Station, as well as Doubutsuen Mae ("In front of the Zoo") subway station, and walking distance to the zoo and park. The washroom is shared, and there is a 24-hour shower.

The futon could have been thicker. My neighbours were quite loud early in the morning as they left, and my room was above the laundry I think, but I could have changed rooms if I had wanted.

Great value for money. It's really rare to get a private space for this kind of price, and even if there's nothing fancy, each room has its own air conditioner and fridge, and everything worked as expected.

The location is a little far from the center of town if you prefer to walk, although it is really close to a couple of subway/train stations. Also, as with every hostel with shared spaces, you sometimes have bad luck with some inconsiderate roommates who might think that the walls are soundproof. Also, if someone slams the door to their room, your door will also shake and make quite a bit of noise.

Great location. Within 100m walk from shin immamiya station. Walking distance to tennoji station that surrounded with mall and restaurants. Great in house onsen with schedule time for man and woman. 24 hours 4 shower room on ground floor and toilet sharing for every floor. Towel and shampoo are provided. Coin laundry and dryer facilities. Reasonable spacious amenities with small kitchen for simple cooking and microwave and toaster also provided. There is morning free coffee and 24 hours hot water with tea. I stayed in single room with fridge, small tv,table and chair and air con for cold and hot features. Building with lift. Most of staffs are friendly and speak English.

I think it is more than 30 years building. But consider well taken care. Don’t expect superb clean and new. It’s clean and smell free. Minimal wear and tear but acceptable. Anyway, the rate is so cheap for single room

Best reasonable rate for room hotel in Osaka. Always love the in house sauna and hot spring/onsen. Provided towel, toothbrush/paste, disposal shoe. 200 yen laundry and 200 yen dryer. In room tv, fridge and air conditioner/heater. 100m away from shin immamiya train station and 50m away from Metro Osaka subway station. Clean and friendly staff. Kitchen provided for simple cook, oven and microwave. Common area with tv. Lift/elevator provided. Lastly, u may put ur luggage at the reception before/after check in/out

I always stay in Nishinari-ku when I am in Osaka because it is cheap and you can reach other places easily. I usually walk around Osaka from there but there are also train stations for JR and metro very close. You get a small single room - which is fine for staying a few nights. Supermarkets are within 5 to 10min walking distance (super tamade and don quijote for example). In general it absolutely depends on your way of travelling and if you like hotels like this one. The room is small but it did have a table and chair, so I was positively surprised. I would stay there again.

For the bath room with bath tube (ofuro) you have a limited time for men and women because there is only one room. So you can't go and take a bath whenever you want. But! You do can take a shower whenever you want because those are in a different room. So the minus point isn't too huge.

The hotel is a bit run down, yet it has a lot to offer. It has a spa area with sauna and a hot tub and I had a single room with fridge, air conditioning, table and chair. There is a well-equipped kitchen downstairs for common use, free coffee and tea in the morning and filtered water all day. They give you a towel. The bed itself was quite comfortable. Good pillow. The hotel also has an elevator and you can borrow a bike for free. JR station is very close by and there are a few things to do in the neighborhood.

The neighborbood isn't hugely exciting if you plan on staying longer than a couple of days. The room didn't smell amazingly and it smelled even worse after turning on the AC. The rooms aren't very soundproof and the cleaning staff was quite noisy in the morning. You might also hear some gentlemen cleaning their throats. To really have a good sleep, I'd personally need to use earplugs, which I find somewhat inacceptable, considering that I'm in a single room. Cleanliness was acceptable but not mind-blowing.

Although all rooms are non-smoking, I was given a room that was clearly smelly with smoke (probably was due to the room was located right above the smoking area on the ground floor and the window might have been opened when no one was in the room...). I tried to requested for a change without really hoping for positive response, but to my surprise, although all western style rooms (room type I booked) in the main building were fully occupied on that night, the staff at reception was very helpful and quickly offered an upgraded substitute room without requesting additional cost.

There is only a single public bath, and the time period assigned to female is too early for those who are used to take a bath late at night before going to bed. However showers are available 24 hours and available to all guests.

I liked that it was a private room, the staff were great and the location is solid. Wifi worked perfectly.

I stayed in a comparable hotel around the corner before. Both hotels were priced the same but this one has far poorer facilities. The shower room has broken walls so mold is growing, the bathrooms were quite run down.

The price is the best, you get a dingle room cheaper than a hostel. And you also get access to sn onsen, a mini kitchen, some amenities + free bikes.The location is very convenient too. But value is key.

It's quite old and some places smell like tobacco. The facilities are quite unupdated and the common areas look so old that could seem not clean. My room was very small and had a hole in the wall, but it was clean. It needs a renovation. But in exange you get a great price and nice amenities.
