I loved Nami (the owner) and her staff at breakfast almost every day (when I didn't sleep in haha). She and her staff provided excellent service and showed us all the facilities I could need during my stay (Towels, laundry machine without dryer, clean bedstuffs, etc etc). Upon entry Nami offered me a spot in the Woman's room when I at first booked a mixed room! I happily took the opportunity and enjoyed my stay there. In the evenings there was many fun things to do in the downstairs area so many memories were made. I'd recommend Nami's hostel to any traveler looking for a bit of a down to earth side of Osaka but where public transport is close by!

A very minor thing was that in our bathroom the bathtub was losing its paint and it was chipping away while you washed. But besides this I have nothing of note to put here!

Great location kind of near Koreatown (and the fabulous Ikuno Market). The owner Naimi is full of energy and attempts to cater what ends up being a pretty interesting social event. She serves a coffee/tea, toast and jam breakfast at a big table in the main room and it is very fun to get to know everybody. I found the bathrooms, showers, and bedding to be clean to my liking. There's a heater in the room and a heating pad on the mattress that makes things very nice.

Meh to the metal bunks. Uffda. Ended up with a jetlagged bloke above me and there was no sleeping thru it.

Our host, Nami was the spirit and the soul of our stay. She was so sweet and welcoming, it really felt like we were home, especially during breakfast, when she did everything for us to have a good time. Breakfast time was great to meet other peopleand socialize. I don’t know if it’s like that all the time but I feel we had an exceptionally good group of people. Or maybe it’s Nami who attracts all the cool people.☺️ Also I loved how eclectic the furnishing was. We left a bottle of whiskey in a hidden spot in the diner, if you find it leave a comment in the reviews!😄 Also Nami was super sweet and when she learnt we had a late flight she immediately told us to leave our stuff in the room and check out later. She really puts her heart in running the place.

It’s a simple place but perfect for the price, and gets so cozy so fast.❤️ It’s really the place to meet people and collect beautiful memories.

Nami-san, the host, was very kind and energetic, she literally acts like a grandma. This guest house has a public dining area which made making friends and talking to people very easy. The breakfast prepared by Nami-san was the highlight of our stay in Osaka, it’s just a superb experience.

My friend was complaining about one of the sheets because it doesn’t smell clean and so we asked for a new one but it’s still smells the same. We also read in the description that towels are included in our stay so we didn’t brought our towels but Nami-san only gave us some old face towels.

So as you see in other reviews the installations were not very good, decent rooms and beds, but the toilet and shower didn’t had a way to lock them, however, I gave it a 10/10 since the landlord and Shohei(the other employee) were the best they will do anything to assist you the best they can. And I met really good people in this place, breakfast is free and even though the nearby station wasn’t the closest to the important places it was easy to move around.

The host is exceptionally kind and cheerful. During the breakfasts (composed of Japanese green tea, coffee and toast with an assortment of jams/peanut butter/chocolate), she becomes a grandma to us. The common room is very cosy. The guesthouse is quite close to 2 subway stations, and to reach one of them you have to walk through a market street, which is very convenient for a quick way to eat.

The facilities are a bit old. The beds in particular, while comfortable, can be a little noisy, and one of my roommate had trouble with some dust falling down on him.

This was my first time being in a guest house. I started being a little bit confused about what I could do or not as I felt I was entering someone else's home. But I actually enjoyed great freedom. I was alone, so I also had privacy. And there are many rooms there. The hotel is also very well placed being very close to a commercial gallery with cheap stores and near the momodani station. Nami is a wonderful woman and very knowledgeable about the area and that came back to the guest home 10 minutes after I asked her a question. Being able to talk together with her and Miko during the breakfast was probably one of my favorite things to do in the morning and helped me start the day well. That's something you can't have in a traditional hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I hope I will be able to come back in the future.

Looking back, the bed was slightly too small for me, but I'm 1.96m tall and I was still be able to sleep comfortably. Also, my time there was too short :(

The hostess is very warm, funny, and hospitable. Talking to her is like talking to a Master of Life. The house is cozy, the bed is comfortable, and there is always cleanliness and hot water. I value silence, and it was quiet there. The location is close to the metro station, making it easy to reach any attractions. Additionally, I was accommodated in a higher-category room without any additional charges. I felt at home. I highly recommend this place.

Nami has an incredible soul. Just an amazing human being. She brings everyone together and treats you like her family. I highly recommend staying here. The atmosphere was amazing

It may take time to communicate check in so I advise sending a message of your arrival time as there may not be anyone there to check you in. However, you are welcome to check yourself in or leave your bags there. The WiFi password in written on the door and it’s very easy to check your self in.

The owner of this hostel is a very charming, warm-hearted and always smiling woman who organized everything perfectly. She took take of the people there and there was always a good vibe. The rooms were small, but alright. Everything was clean and the equipment was quite good. Also: There was a shower with hot water. Good value for the money. Arigato! 😊🙏🏻

The hostel is located a bit outside of the busy city center, which I very much liked as it was a quiet area, but if you prefer to be in Osaka city center, then this one might not be your kind of hostel.
