This is right above a METRO station!!!! Damn, making travellers commute so smooth. The basement is a metro and the guesthouse is right above at the 3rd floor. You can use the same elevator from the metro to reach the hostel. Talking about the facilities, you can't pin point any as such. The stay had clean toilets, shower rooms and a lavatory. Everything is cleaned and maintained. I say it again, it is a perfect place for the travellers who commute on the public transport. The Namba area itself a mini shopping hub.

Nothing. I loved everything about the stay!

The staff are quite organised, friendly and helpful Two showers, 3 toilets and 4 sinks, all separated, so no problem using these facilities considering the number of beds in the dorm. All beds come with a locker, so at the bed, and some in a locker area. Toilets and bathrooms are pretty clean. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided in the showers. The common area was in the 2nd floor reception. It had lots of chairs and tables to be social, the kitchen and laundry were also here. The location is quite good. It practically on to of Ebisucho Station and shares a lift with the station. There's lots of restaurants, cafes and shops around. About 15 minutes walk to Dotonbori.

Some of these are not the hostels fault. 1. Guests are not told of local etiquette regarding indoor slippers and people walk around the dorm in their outdoor shoes. 2. A lot of guests are inthe habit of leaving their suitcases and dirty laundry lying around. 3. The lift is really slow as it's shared with the subway station. 4. The lights in the dorm are in some kind of timer control. In the evening, everyone has to use their phone torch 5. The dorms can smell when near full, there's not enough ventilation or air fresheners.

Facilities were great! The place was right above the subway station and it makes for accessible transfer. Do take it consideration that the lift is small and might take some time to get above. Check in and storage was easy, and the beds and bathrooms are clean and comfy! Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to stay close to the center of Osaka!

A suggestion would be having hostel hosted events to get everyone going! Could be just a tour to walk around the city or finding food, that would be great. I did saw some events posted tho so maybe I have just missed it!

The hotel was in a great location. It was very easy to access local trains and within walking distance of many of the places my cousin and I wanted to visit. The price was also very affordable, especially given that there was a common area for us to relax, a lockable storage area for our belongings, and pretty comfortable beds.

This is not the hotel's fault, but several people on my floor seemed sick, so it made it difficult to go to bed some nights when they were coughing.

A very wholesome stay. Each dorm room as 3 toilets and 3 showers ( all in there own separate rooms ) and to rent a towel is 200 Yen. They do turn off the lights at 2100, but that didn't bother me. The common room has a kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The area is very walkable. I stayed here 2 different times and I look forward to returning.

There drying machine does not dry lol, it just makes your clothes damp ( which is better than being wet, I guess ) and so I had to hang the clothes all over my bed all night for them to dry. I did notice a laundry place maybe 2 blocks away; just use that. Also I think some hooks outside the bed, maybe in the frame, would help alot.

I only spent 4 nights at this guesthouse, but I wish I had stayed longer! The room was clean, as well as the other shared areas and the bed was comfy. Before my arrival, I was worried about being in a room with so many people, but I did not have a single problem. There was no queue for either the toilet or shower, and I could sleep peacefully at night. I also read that the elevator was a bit slow since it’s connected to the station of Ebisucho but I did not have a single problem with that (maybe during rush hours you gotta be a bit patient but it does not take that long lol) It was my first solo trip, so I was a bit anxious but the staff was super nice and kind. We even hung out all together a couple of times so I didn’t feel alone at all! Don’t have any complaints. I want to go back as soon as I get the chance! I just want to kindly remind you that it’s a guesthouse and not a 5-star hotel. You have to make your bed and share the room with lots of people so there might be some people snoring or making noises, but it’s like that in any other hostel lol. For such a cheap price, this place is perfect.

I was able to get a semi private bunk which was amazing! The bed was the most comfortable mattress I have had my whole trip. The staff were all super friendly and included me as a solo traveler. They spoke English great and was able to help with any requests. The location was great for everything I wanted to do and go see. I would definitely recommend this place if you are a solo traveler and I would stay here again.

Location wise, it is very close to Ebisucho Station and has it's own elevator platform. It's near major konbinis and dining stalls. Relatively near Nipponbashi Denden Town and Shinsekai, which makes it a great place to stroll around Nipponbashi in general. In few minutes of walking, you'll be in Dotonbouri already, but you can still take the train if you might. Guesthouse wise, it has the basic facilities for you to survive. I hate when people negatively tag something on comments as if they were expecting a five star hotel - it's a low-cost guesthouse for goodness sake. Still, bunk beds and sleeping quarters are cleaned everyday by staff - though you might need to consider this because they tend to cause some noises if you happen to be sleeping still by 10am beyond... tolerable still. Must I say everything is decent and clean, from sleeping quarters, to bathrooms, toilets, down to kitchen and common space (you can prep your food if you want - it has utensils for you to use).

Since it is a shared space, sometimes, you'll encounter if not difficult, but "rowdy" tenants - you might also encounter loud sleeper (yes, the snores and stuff like that :) Earplug is the key.

The lady at reception desk was very nice and helped me get a refund and rebook when I showed up late and realised I had booked for the same date in 2 months time! Could have been very stressful in a foreign place with no where to stay late at night!

I slept on top of the bunk right about the aircon, I did not have any control of it. Would prefer if the bathrooms were more removed from the sleeping area.

The elevator is directly to the subway train, super convenient. The restroom is super clean; highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. Locker space is acceptable. The hostel does provide new bed sheets and pillow sheets to cover the bed and pillow.

Recommend to choose the bottom bed rather than the top because reaching the top bed is quite difficult for someone who weighs over 77 kg, like me. The trash bin sometimes smells the cigarettes; maybe someone throws a cigarette on it.
