We reserved the room in Popway Residence for 3 nights, but ended up extending it for 10 days. Room is not so big but the creative furniture arrangement allows to keep it not congested. There are special sliding shelves for big suitcases under the bed. Place has its own small kitchen and staff can provide some cooking equipments. We had very pleasant experience with the staff in this hotel. They were always helpful and supportive. In overal, we felt like we were staying in our private apartment in the heart of Tennoji. The twin room has big balcony with perfect views on Haruka building. We used to enjoy night drink with the great view from there. And one more crucial factor, they kept really decent price compared to equivalent properties.

The bathroom curtain was not cleaned well after previous guests.

Although it's not a big room, they planned it brilliantly so there's a lot of storage space and it feels more spacious than most tiny Japanese hotel rooms. Very nice design and the little balcony is a nice plus. Staff were very helpful Good value for the price

The bed is very hard, for me it felt almost like sleeping on a yoga mat. If you prefer really hard mattresses then it might be okay for you. The room wasn't that clean, there was a lot of dust. Not much if any restaurants around All that being said, I do think this hotel is very nice and we did enjoy staying there. Very good value for money.

It’s was walkable distance to the main train station and the shopping mall. I also love it because we have a cooker, fridge and washing machine, which meant me could make our own food and do our laundry.

They didn’t clean our room for 6 days. However, when we asked them to clean the room, all they did was to give us clean towels, not change the bedding.

Great location, just a 10 minute walk from Tennoji station. Tennoji by the way is a major station with lots of direct trains going to important places (Shin-Osaka, Nara, JR Namba for example). This place is perfect if you have any special dietary requirements (halal, vegetarian, vegan etc) as it's very difficult eating in Japan if you don't eat meat -this place has an electric cooker hob so you can prepare your own stuff -by the way the kitchenette has cooking pots, plates, cutlery, glasses. There is also a supermarket called Harves in Tennoji station which has a few vegetarian dishes in the Deli section. Of course the room itself was very clean, the bathroom was very clean. There's also a washing machine on the balcony. No tumble dryer but not really a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

While the room was rather small, it was not cramped. There was a washing machine on the balcony, which was very convenient. It was only a 10 minute walk to Tennoji station, and a few temples. Family mart was just a few steps down the road

I like the washing machine,toilet was separated with the shower room.also they provided stuff for cooking even were not cooking.just that mayb can suggest every room provide microwave so that we no need to come down to reception to reheat our food.location a bit far from tennoji station.overall i hv good experience staying there

The room was spacious, laundry and porch were nice, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, the area was very nice with a market just down the street, a bit of a walk from the train station but not at all unbearable

Amazing usage of the space through a well thought design. We were traveling with two large suitcases and because we could stow them away under the bed, it never felt cramped. Having a washing machine and a balcony with a mosquito net was great, the second because we could regulate better and faster the temperature in the room. The beds were super comfortable.

Having a proper clothes rack would have been great.

It’s like little apartment, with a balcony and mini kitchen, including utensils. The bed is large and comfy, you can watch youtube on TV and even some local subscription service. There are convenience stores nearby as well.

It’s a little bit far from the JR station, which takes around 10-12 mins to walk from tennoji station.

Great value of money, nice equipment, great location, nice room design with balcony and kitchen.

The electric appliances may need to be fixed, strange noise coming from AC, very loud. The room also a little bit dusty, everywhere filled with dust.
