Location to the ski resort. Staff were helpful and friendly with meal reservations, daily breakfast and pickup/dropoff from the ski run.

Cabin did not have separate bedrooms. Entrance very tight for four people to unbolt st day end. Acoustic between duplex villa was not great - you could clearly hear your neighbours snore!

Great room with excellent facilities - clean and comfortable! Staff are accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast included was great and highly recommend the dinner option (not included).

Slightly overpriced - location isn’t great if you aren’t skiing (although they do provide shuttles occasionally throughout the day)

Wonderfully private cabin with a very boutique and comfortable feel. The staff were outstanding, particularly Brittney and Anton. Breakfast every morning was included and just awesome. The central lodge was an awesome gathering ground for small groups to hang out comfortably by the fire enjoying cocktails and great conversation.

The beds were rather hard.

The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The villa itself is very comfortable, warm and cosy in a picturesque location which is a very short drive from the rusutsu ski lifts. The main resort hotels were busier and felt a bit odd to me, with a shopping centre vibe, escalators and multi storey buildings… slippery tiled floors etc. This was great for some after skiing enjoyment, the kids played games in the arcade are a lot, but we were always happy to come home to the villa. The breakfast was delicious with tasty hot western and Japanese options, plus a buffet too ( I thought that the buffet on its own was great) I will happily stay at Villa rusutsu when I return here!

very friendly helpful staff, they all fluent in Eng so makes things a lot easier. they were helpful in booking restaurants for you and giving general info. very close to ski resort, spacious rooms for our family of 4. nice breakfast and warm atmosphere.

I find Japanese beds generally a bit firmer. but there is really not much to complain about, we had a lovely stay!

it was an awesome cottage. very warm and comfortable. perfect for a family of four or two couples. spa bath with a view of the falling snow. massage chair. fire place with staff replacing wood whenever needed.

the cottage needed a microwave oven so that you could hear your own meals if wanted

The staff were fantastic very friendly and made our stay like a week at a health retreat. The chef who made breakfast went above and beyond to help with my wife's food intolerances

The fact that the bar was closed still because of covid

cabins warm and cosy. Japanese breakfast very good. Shuttle service into town & pick up.

servicing of units limited to towel change and emptying of bins. We stayed a week so the vanity could use a wipe over and a quick vacuum mid stay.

Western breakfast not really western but delicious. Staff were super accommodating and attentive. We’ll done Esther and Kyle!

Restaurant reservations difficult there. Need to double check this before people arrive I think.
